Yes, you would have had a round or two to catch your breath and possibly find a weapon, though you don't find much on the goblins aside from a few "swords" that appears to be roughly beaten out of some piece of metal trash. You could easily find something to serve as a club, though, as there a number of broken/splintered tables and wagons about.
Krojun wouldn't have his weapons with him. Really he wouldn't have had his shield with him either but I didn't think about that until after I'd made the first combat round post.
As long as the weapons were peace-bound during the day, and trust me they were, no one really would have noticed. There's a lot of visitors in town, and a fair number of merchants selling pretty much everything, including some pretty valuable goods. While you ordinarily would have stuck out and been called out for it, under the circumstances, as long as you behaved yourself, the guard had enough else to worry about that they weren't going to work themselves up over that.
Yea, I thought about it after and realized that it was a bit silly to have weapons at a festival. But it was too late after my first post. Or we could go with, I've been at sea for months, what do I know about manners?
I was thinking, would it be realistic that Morstralla walks around armed and armoured in town? Probably not and went from there.
You're also a local and have a secure place to store them. A lot of visitors would rather keep as much of their stuff with them as possible, not really trusting to the security of inn rooms.
We're waiting on Wyren to finish the round but people at the top of the round (Magnhlidr, Morstralla, Rohan, Talon) should feel free to post their round 8 actions.

Considering one of the games I'm in, this is a pretty good pace. BTW, I think the last Gobbo just joined his buddies in Pharasma's Boneyard.

Just a heads up - I'm driving up to Indy and back for the Colts/Packers game so I'll be MIA for a long while tomorrow. Feel free to play me as needed to maintain pace, resolve combat, etc.
I'm also concerned about burning myself out. This combat was pretty simple due to the lack of maps. Maps tend to slow things down on the DM side of things.
FYI - I'm on vacation (more of a staycation really) until Nov 5th so I'm not glued in front of a pc 8 hours a day, but I'll try to jump in every day until then

Leveling time. If you could all post your updates once you have leveled so that I know when you are done, we can keep things moving along. HP is either half+1 or roll (reroll a 1 once). Go ahead and do some shopping while we are at this stage as well; it can be stuff that was given to you, stuff you bought, but however you got it, you have 1k worth of gear with a few specifics listed in the game thread.
