Incredibly busy at work. Implementing a new schedule style while we replace the production manager, office manager, warehouse crew, and the previous schedule and dispatch support.

Heads up for the players and The GM

A Curse of the Crimson Throne Game is looking for a replacement GM.
And they are offering to the new GM in turn, to be a player in one of the Player's Games.

Quick note: Gkirkhan is gone. Pity, but he stayed with us the longest. I'll keep going with who we have for now, but do you folks want me to open recruitment?

Quick head count: Rova, Vertielle, Wood, Zhiden, Eva. Everyone else still present and accounted for?

I think we're covered. We've got a big metal thing, a little stabby thing, flash, prayer, and speech.

While that's not quite how I'd have described the group, I do agree we've got all the bases covered, so, unless someone really wants another person, I'm OK with not recruiting, since, having played this AP with a three-person non-mythic, non-gestalt RL group (slightly overleveled, I'll admit) they blew through most of it and have finally hit real challenges in the last module.

As the AP is designed for four at 15pt builds, we should be fine.

I think we're fine. After all, I was brought in as a replacement the first time Gkirkan dropped out. If he makes it back, fine.

Once everyone's back together, I'll move to the next part of the module.

Is anyone here going to have any issues with posting during the upcoming holidays?

We'll have to see, it's unknown at this point.

One thing the news has taught us, watch the VA closely!!

Actually, since all this started, my new VA appointments have been very prompt.

I now need hearing aids, and I'll be seeing ENT to see if it's a physical cause.

The worst issue I ever had with the VA wasn't scheduling appointments,it was during my first miscarriage about 17 years ago. The VA at the time was still VERY poor at dealing with female vets and one nurse -grrrrrr- I still get mad...I'd gone to find out if, in fact, it was a miscarriage, and the nurse said "Why are you here?"

I don't know if anything could have been done at that point, even in a civilian hospital, but ANY nurse in that situation should have been more responsive. I reported her, of course, but...

Also, on another note, I'd like to warn you guys that I may drop off the radar again, but if I do, I hope I can warn you beforehand. The project that we just finished (other than wrapping up a few things) wasn't even the largest site we manage.

By the way, I need glasses and I don't have them yet. I'm hoping to have them by the end of next week, please excuse any typos in the meantime.
