I'd suggest a Diatryma, a medium version of an axebeak. Easier for a halfling to handle.

is it the same as the beast rider for the cavalier class? it's medium too

You are aware, of course, that the first sentences in the OP are about fighting evil?

Not my game, but it sounds like a call for heroes, not cannibals, neutral or evil characters. That's a recipe for PvP.

I am aware but since most of the interesting gods are taken I want Urgothea, and that requires a significantly darker character.

And if this was a call for heroes it would be a Paladin-only game. It isn't. Also note how the DM has specified that the Scion is an 'amoral' society that believes in choosing the lesser of two evils. I believe my character would fit into this, and that his backstory/personality will cause no significant intra-party difficulties.

This is pavaan finished up my tengu twf. kind of a beast at combat, with two attacks at +9 1d8+11 +2d6, and bite +3 1d3+8

well done with 90% of the crunch just have little adventuring stuff to get, not fun making a char in just note pad,

generic personalty, will do what needs to be done to have trade and city's flourish, no matter how dark he needs to go, As well as a little bit of greed for shiny things.(playing up the crow angle of a tengu)

Good to know. I was looking at the animal companions list and did not see that. BTW for future reference, is there any rules reason that a small character can't handle a large creature?

Do we need to take a class that grants a companion/mount or can we just buy an exotic creature?

Well you can buy it and the church will subsidy it for 500 gp for the mount armor. Also I think a fully trained axe beak we price say 1500gp. Maybe u can consider a dragoon fighter fighter with inquisitor

Everything should be finalized now. Tested the link to my character sheet and it worked fine. Let me know if there is a problem. Thank you for the consideration.

Edit: To anticipate some questions you might have, the 5 in the "misc" box for AC is 3 from Wis mod from no armor, 1 for AC Bonus +1 Monk ability from no armor, and 1 for dodge feat.

For CMD, the 5 in the "size" box is 3 from Wis modifier, 1 from AC Bonus +1 Monk ability, and 1 for dodge feat (I double-checked this, and you do count all types of AC bonuses like dodge, deflection, insight, sacred etc... to your CMD. Hero Lab also confirmed this.)

I changed the ability mod for Escape Artist to Wisdom as per the Wisdom in the Flesh Religion Trait.

Bah, Imma have to let this one go. Having trouble thinking up any kind of coherent backstory for my barbar/inquis half-orc, haven't even finished his sheet, and I got 3 PBP's going already. I should probably chew what I've bitten off first, eh? Have a blast, all.

Hi Guys, Thank you for showing interest in my campaign. May I firstly say that I am very humbled by the response as this is my first time GM a game. Many of the applicants I know are experienced GMs themselves and I definitely have much to learn from them. As the submission list did not change much for the last 24 hours except the updating of the character sheet I will be now disclosing the selection of Inquisitors which the Nightfall Scion will be inviting.

From the ruins of civilization and born of nature we have Terflynn Pram the bow cleric of deity Gozreh. He is Neutral Good.

From the trickery and master of the unpredictable we have Grollus Ardensmith the whip lashing inquisitor of deity Calistra. He is Chaotic Neutral.

From pain and dust, a dwarf with a dark passenger we have Angrom The Tickler the stout and hardy whip fighter of deity Zon-Kuthon. He is Lawful Neutral.

Strong hearted and loyal, a half orc whom she do not discriminate we have Embrianna a follower of Shelyn. She is Lawful Good.

A hidden torrent of wild arcane power, tamed by the tenets of divinity we have Dignis "Diggy" Burrows a maverick of deity Cayden Cailean. He is Chaotic Good.

As swift as the wind, she is a dawnflower tempest of divine fury. We have Jade Parsenol a monk inquisitor of deity Sarenrae. She is Lawful Good.

Lastly a most unlikely candidate, a cannibal escaping from his dark past. A redemption play personified. For reason much unknown, we have Thak Val Zsing a follower of Urgathoa. Time will tell perhaps as fate may sometime uses its most unexpected forms to a specific end. He is Lawful Evil.
