Atsuko gave a slight nod. She wasn't Superman - she didn't believe she had the power to always be able to stop people without killing them. But that was what companions were for... and while she would use lethal methods if necessary, that really only meant if it was necessary. Nonlethal methods were always preferable, in part because uncorking that bottle could push others to do the same... and you couldn't get the genie back in.

Human PL 10 | Toughness +11 | Dodge 9 | Parry 9| Willpower 11 | Fortitude 7|

NO! Darkstorm calls out at the possibility of murder, his anger forgotten. Look if this guy dies in battle and there is no way to stop that, it's fine but if we have a chance to not kill him and win we need to take it. That is why we are the heroes isn't it? Or am I the only one who signed up for that?!

Felix shrugs again.

"We didn't really sign up because we all agreed on something. I'm pretty sure it was because the Phantom had some kind of dirt on us/ wanted to help us. Personally, I'm not keen on killing, but I won't pretend it might be the right option at times. I mean, if this guy gets away and decides to plant a hundred more bombs around the city for revenge for us failing...that's gonna be on us failing to capture him and letting him live to do something about it."

It was a logical thought, one that made sense at least to Felix.

"Of course I'd rather take him alive, but this guy has proven he's willing to cross a line with civilians and non-powered folks. I'm sure heroes would behave very differently if Captain Boomerang started to mow down crowds of people if he didn't succeed in robbing banks."

?

Not murder. Lindsay clarified. But if you see him about to do anything that would cause an incident like last time, I want to make sure that you would all be able to stop it. Explaining so, she gives the Doctor an odd, almost admiring look, as if she didn't expect that response from him.
Media stepped up. I realize the feelings behind this specific topic. I understand. I've never killed anyone before. Neither have the White Wraith or Blue Banshee. The Phantom, though, he was fighting WWII at age sixteen. He doesn't like killing, but he will if he thinks he has to. Quickly, efficiently, then he walks away. Not everyone can do that. Some have to take the moral stand, and I appreciate that. Someone has to stand for something. She paused, eyes looking down. Just... Just make sure everyone makes it out alive, y'know.

Inactive

'World War 2...? But, that'd make him around ninety years old...' She started to recall the various instances that indicated the Phantom was in poor health, and being almost ninety would certainly provide an answer to that. Still, being a hero for that long? It was admirable to say the least. She hopes he'll be alright, no doubt that at his age recovering from a bullet wound is going to take awhile. It's amazing he could even stand.

Ravager turned her head towards the various members of the group, and brings up her hands once she thinks Felix is paying attention. "Do we have a plan?"

Do we have refreshed hero points yet? I'd assume, but I don't wanna get ahead of myself.

"All you can do is all you can do." Atsuko said quietly.

We can just go in circles discussing in PbP, so I'd say we simply pick someone and go with their plan. XD

Hah, that was my thinking for a few days now.

PL 10 | Toughness: 2 (10) - Penalties: 0 | Dodge: 6, Parry: 0, Fortitude: 2, Will: 10 | Initiative: +4, Perception: +12 | Hero Points: 2 |

@GM: By the way, if you're worried about us not being able to settle things, one rule we could implement is that if someone proposes a plan and someone else agrees, we roll with that for the sake of expediency. It's an option, anyway.

Frustrated, Felix begins to pull at his hair and steps forward.

"Alright. This is an opportunity we can't miss. I like the fire alarm idea, but I don't like the idea of our target being evacuated with the rest of the civilians and putting them directly in harms way. So we're going covert. We isolate access to his floor, lock him down as fast as possible, and extract with no retaliation. That's not going to f&+*ing happen, but it's the best course of action I see."

?

As far as I see it, I think we have three options insofar. Let's see how Lindsay will react :)
1/4. Atsuko
2/5. Felix
3/6. Doctor

1d6 ⇒ 2

Lindsay turns to Felix. Let's go with the disguises. She said. We need subtlety, for once. Are we all in agreement? Think we can pull this off? She asked.
I've got your backs. Media said in agreement. We should get on the move.

PL 10 | Toughness: 2 (10) - Penalties: 0 | Dodge: 6, Parry: 0, Fortitude: 2, Will: 10 | Initiative: +4, Perception: +12 | Hero Points: 2 |

Atsuko focused slightly, then simply blinked out of sight. She could probably use her magic to whip up a disguise, but not being seen in the first place was even better, given how many senses she could fool. And anybody who could see through it probably wouldn't be fooled by a disguise anyway...

Dimensional Concealment, go~

"To be honest, no." Felix confesses. "Subtly only works until one mistake is made, then we open up Pandora's box to a whole world of retaliation. Its essentially the all or nothing strategy, but I'm willing to give it a shot."

Inactive

'I should... probably change first then, if we're going to do this. No better way to disguise myself then come as myself, right? ...Right?' She didn't let her uncertainty show as she informed Felix that she was going to leave for the restroom to get sorted. She'd be back minutes after, once again human and wearing her uniform with a backpack hanging off her left shoulder. Her right forearm seemed to be bandaged for some reason, and she tried to keep it out of sight.

"S-so uh... what do you need me to do then? Will.. will I have to show my face?" She asked, nervously glancing between the various adults.

BTW, you can roll a d3 with this system. Or any number, really.

"Well, we can definitely disguise you. It wouldn't do to have people associating you with yourself." He says as he begins to set up a booth to change people's looks.

I'm not sure who needs a disguise, so I'll just roll a bunch of rolls.

Disguise, Dr. Apocalypse: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (19) + 16 = 35
Disguise, Atsuko: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (20) + 16 = 36
Disguise, Darkstorm: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (4) + 16 = 20
Disguise, Felix: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (3) + 16 = 19
Disguise, Masumi: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (6) + 16 = 22
Disguise, Media: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (14) + 16 = 30
Disguise, Phantom: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (8) + 16 = 24

?

Oh, I know, it's just fun with d6. Doesn't make much of a difference, but it just feels more epic :)
Those are impressive rolls for everyone. What are you guys disguised as? :)

You manage to enter the hotel without a second look at any of you. You didn't see Media enter with you, but you notice a familiar face here and there, and there, and there, each in a different outfit, each seeming to nod in affirmation towards whoever catches her.
Lindsay's voice speaks your earbuds. Do you see anything?

Human PL 10 | Toughness +11 | Dodge 9 | Parry 9| Willpower 11 | Fortitude 7|

Well I have been thinking this over, and I must say I love the direction this is going in. I was worried a bit about murder, but since we all more or less agreed not to, Im looking at you Atsuko lmao, I must say it has been interesting to see how this goes. Anyhow I think Darkstorm would change back into his civilian get up more or less, and look like an every day nothing special college student.

Was going to find an image online, but decided it'd be best to simply describe something myself. Sides, this is way more fun.

She fidgeted, uncomfortable about the frilly white sundress that Apocalypse had made her wear. Masumi had never felt like she'd look... nice, in such pretty and feminine clothes. In fact, she's fairly sure that the last time she wore a dress this nice, she was ten. Maybe less. The little pink bows on either side of her waist seemed far too cute for someone like her as well. At least, normally.

It was amazing how far a little make up and a brush have gone. Her eyes less baggy and cheeks powdered for a soft pinkness, her long messy hair now smoothed out and kept tied by a simple ribbon in the same pink of the ones on her dress. The white garter belt and matching long sleeved gloves were a little too much as well, but at least the latter covered her bandaged arm well enough.

Topped off with some delicate sandals, she could almost fool herself into being some well off Japanese businessman's daughter wandering around the hotel on her own. The doctor was even thoughtful enough to include a little purse, which she now used to keep her initializer on her person.

"N-not yet..." She mutters, shortly after having bumped into someone important looking and apologizing to him in Japanese, unintentionally cementing her role.

PL 10 | Toughness: 2 (10) - Penalties: 0 | Dodge: 6, Parry: 0, Fortitude: 2, Will: 10 | Initiative: +4, Perception: +12 | Hero Points: 2 |

I'll go as... a hotel worker, I suppose. XD Probably someone who doesn't get paid very much, but whose presence is generally normal. And if she looks like she's trying to hide, well, that's probably because the owner yells at her a lot...

"I'll report as soon as I do." Atsuko muttered into her communication device, keeping her head down as she bustled inside. Her visual concealment was still up, but she was moving like someone who was supposed to be there, just in case.

Felix has been in the hotel for quite a while. HIs disguise is one he likes as it offers him a bit of covertness combined with ample excuse. No one would suspect the old balding man with a speckled head and who had been napping in the lobby for the last half hour to ben anyone of importance. His old, misfitting suit seemed to swallow him, and every now and then his cane would bump against the inside of his leg.

At Lindsay's quesiton, Felix releases an audible snore, a signal they agreed would represent a negative to her question. Currently, he has on the Monkey Choker, Monkey Earring, and Ring of Babel.

The Doctor had to put in a little twist to his design. To most people, he simply looked like an man in a nice suit waiting impatiently. Only a select few would recognize him as wearing the face of Rick Baker. Of course, this was Rick Baker's face of forty years ago, so even the few who might recognize him wouldn't expect it was the real person. Just one of those people who looks like somebody semi-famous.

Deep inside, he was smiling.

?

In the lobby, you notice one of the clones of Media talking to another familiar face. Leaning against the wall and an obviously flirtacious face, it was the reporter, Jackie, smiling and nodding, a camera hanging down his shoulders, wearing the same trench-coat since last time you met him.
Elsewhere, in the hotel bar, you hear rowdy shouting and cheering, a sort of behavior unlikely this early in the morning and usually reserved for dedicated alcoholics.

PL 10 | Toughness: 2 (10) - Penalties: 0 | Dodge: 6, Parry: 0, Fortitude: 2, Will: 10 | Initiative: +4, Perception: +12 | Hero Points: 2 |

"...Checking the party." Atsuko murmured into her headset, keeping her dimensional concealment up as she moved over to investigate. Who the heck was having a loud party in a hotel like this one...?

Felix "wakes" up with start in his chair and moves to the elevator. Using information acquired beforehand, he makes his way up to the Cardinal's floor. His plan is to pretend he got the wrong floor while scouting the hall and potentially the room.

"Perhaps someone should hijack the hotel security..." he mumbles into his com.

Inactive

She fiddles with the hem of her dress, in no way comfortable about being exposed like this. There's no telling what could happen if they were caught unaware. Biting her lip, she decided to just pay attention to what everyone else was doing for now. Hijacking the security system? Sure, she could potentially have a chance there, but how would she even get up there? The doctor, though.

She mumbled into her receiver, speaking Japanese just in case. She remembered about how back on their fist day he spoke it fluently, so it shouldn't be an issue.,"Ah... Doctor? Do you think you could do that?"

Human PL 10 | Toughness +11 | Dodge 9 | Parry 9| Willpower 11 | Fortitude 7|

Well if course I can, Darkstorm says regularky, as if on Bluetooth with friends from college.

You guys know what I can do. And I mean if you want to prank Professor C, I could probably get into the classroom and see about getting you guys in. Just no rotten pumpkins or eggs this time. We can't keep doing obvious stuff like that, or we could get expelled.

I am guessing it'll work so to the college student get up. Wearing a school sweatshirt

"Yes, we should give it the old college try." he says on his cellphone across the lobby. "I don't have everything I need to do it myself, but that's why we hire experts with specific talents."

Human PL 10 | Toughness +11 | Dodge 9 | Parry 9| Willpower 11 | Fortitude 7|

Darkstorm walks into the bathroom, away from the prying eyes of any security cameras, and walks into a stall. He calls upon his bio energy, turning invisible, and phasing into the wall. He begins to fly up at a slow pace.

In the wall boys and girls he says quietly enough to be heard. Is someone could give me directions to say maintenance, I could cause a power outage, or if someone could guide me to security, i could move the cameras off of you.

?

Atsuko spies the majority of patrons, hunched down, increasingly uncomfortable and annoyed, being bothered by a small group of roudy toughs shaking down the bartender as loudly as possible.

Meanwhile, one of Media's clones walks up to the voice in the wall, casually leans against it, and whispers, Follow the me waving towards this me. The one in the hotel employee uniform, down the hall. I'll lead you to the maintnence room.

Well, well... this was certainly interesting. What were thugs doing in a place like this? Acting as distractions for something, or...? Hm. Well, she wasn't alone, and didn't need to do everything herself. Instead, she simply continued to observe the situation while she waited to hear back from the others.

Felix stumbles onto the target's floor, taking a surveying glance as he makes his way down the hall.

Inactive

She continued to wander around, always somewhere knew, and always trying to get a good luck at the faces of people as she passes them by. The exits were already accounted for, and she knew her way to the bathroom in case something happened and she needed to... get changed. But for the most part, she simply remained uncomfortable and hoping this operation would be over soon. She had school tomorrow after-all...

?

Here it is. The Media clone stated. Overload this, and we'll have at least an hour before they can tap into backup power. She said. Should I be here for that or is it more... Explode-y?

On the floor, Felix notices that every roomservice employee is wearing the same scowl, and most of them looked bigger, angrier, than the average hotel bellhop.

"Is it just me or is every room service employee a bit hulked out?" Felix mutters. He acts as if he tries to get into the nearest room, Looks confused, looks closely at the room number, looks down the halls embarrassed, and gets back on the elevator.

"There's quite a lot of beefy people here..." Atsuko murmured. That was unlikely to be a coincidence - you didn't just get a bunch of toughs together for no reason. The problem was finding out why, exactly, it was happening... and she'd bet at least a few bucks it was related to the reason they were here.

?

I've noticed that, too. One of the Medias say into the comm. Every other employee as a matter of fact... Employment around here has gotten a whole lot angrier...
Lindsay's voice this time. It's possible that the Cardinal has some men on the inside. Either for security, or... Or he's planning something.

Human PL 10 | Toughness +11 | Dodge 9 | Parry 9| Willpower 11 | Fortitude 7|

Darkstorm looks at the Media Clone. This may be a bit explosive. he says while still invisible.

He moves into a blind spot in one of the cameras, and crouches to set up his aim. Blue energy appears around his hand as he fades back into view, and quickly blasts at the power box.

Bio-Energy Blast: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30

?

With that, the lights go off, some exploding in bright white flashes, soon, the hotel is dark, low-light throughout the halls, but still well-lit where there are windows.
There are screams, patrons crying out, wondering if this is another attack, employees, trying to corale them outside.
The thugs in the bar, and the brutish guests, however, do not leave. Neither do any of the Medias, or Jackie Kyles, who immediately whips out his camera.

"W-was that the plan?!" She shorts frantically in Japanese, as she tries to find somewhere safe for her to change into ravager if it's needed. She's sure she saw one place...

Atsuko blinked as the lights went out, her eyes immediately adjusting and providing her with the capacity to see regardless. It was... one of the many things she had a difficult time explaining. For the moment, she continued to observe the guests who were staying in the area, ready to summon up tendrils to corral and restrain them if necessary. One of the nice things about this place being so dark was that there were plenty of places to call those up from...

I thought we decided on stealth... Felix thought as he stands in an elevator.

Did you blow out the power? Am I stuck on an Elevator now?

?

Just your luck, Felix, eh? :)

Masumi:

You remember a nearby janitor's closet, empty, ready for Ravager.

Moments later, the closet bursts open, and Ravager rushes out.

Well, going by what was coming over the com, things were going straight to heck now... "If you want me to take down any targets over here, let me know." she murmured into the com.

?

As soon as you see an opening. Lindsay said. Make it quick and clean. Remember. No unecessary blood, but if there's no other option, I won't blame you.
Media spoke up. Death won't be necessary. She said. I've got an army of mes set up and e great new team. If the Phantom trusts you all, it's for a good reason.

Shrugging slightly, Atsuko dropped her illusion - and a moment later tendrils roared out of the ceiling, grabbing objects and slamming them into a makeshift barricade to stop both the thugs and the guests from getting out. She wasn't actively reaching for any of them - yet - although tendrils would go after anyone who tried to escape. Her goal was to neutralize them, and keeping them in one spot was the only realistic way that happened.

Welp....this is a pickle...

Felix quickly switches his disguise to a maintenance man of sorts and does some acrobatics to access the maintenance panel at the ceiling of the small box.

He will try and get out and get back to the Cardinal's floor covertly.

?

Covertly, eh. Can I see both an Acrobatics and a Stealth check?

The barricades formed by Atsuko and her tentacles cause quite a bit of a stir, screaming and shouting, and amidst it, guns cocking.
