The tusk is the key gentleman. Though I'm certain that certain death awaits us on the other side of the door. I cannot imagine there aren't some very nasty guardians guarding their treasure hoard. Regardless, lead on.

Omar screws the red tusk into the thread and the door opens. there is short corridor that ends in crypt. This burial chamber is well-appointed. A large woven rug depicting three great fanged elephant heads lies in the the center of the room, while the walls are painted with dizzying geometric designs of red, green, and gold. A pair of gold candelabra flank the coffin, each holding a dozen burning vermilion candles that give off an odd, spicy scent. The casket sits on a block of reddish marble four feet high, and is made of finely finished mahogany with silver handles. Inlays of walnut on the coffin lid depict the four mud sorcerer symbols as well as geometric designs matching those on the walls.

The archway leading into the room bears the following inscription written in several languages, including common: "Thou hast reached the Inner Sanctum of Tzolo. Tzolo sleeps, waiting for the predestined time of the jezulein Rebirth.Gloat not, lest thy pride usher in thy Unalterable Doom."

Interesting... Reyondelee's voice trails off as she pulls her mapmaking accoutrement from her backpack and scrawls down this new information, being meticulous about writing down the scripts and runes in every language.

After taking time to update her map scrolls, and putting the tube and quill back in her pack, she looks at her three gentleman comrades and says, I seriously doubt this crypt is going to just offer us up treasure. Omar as you search the room you think it odd that the candles came to life, certainly some sort of magic trick, and you make your way towards the coffin in the middle of the room. The lid to the coffin looks as if it will move off easily enough and does not appear to be trapped - at least not from the outside - and the casket also looks like it can be moved off the the reddish marble base.

The coffin lid slides off revealing a mummified body. The corpse is wearing jewelry made of platinum covered in complex geometric patterns and glyphs. It has wide bracelets on it's wrists and ankles, a broad wide collar around its neck, three rings (a camel, a pig, and a hippo), a circlet, and perfectly fitted mask. The corpse wears a platinum breastplate with six peridots.

You each make notice that there is something sweet with the torch smoke, Omar actually yawns. Sargon and Dragox realize they candle smoke is a sleeping agent. Nevertheless, the mummified corpse does not sit up and attack, it is in fact deceased. On close inspection of the coffin Omar does notice that the casket can easily slide off of the marble block. With a nod, Dragox pushes the casket sideways which reveals the outline of a small locked compartment.
