M Goliath Cleric 14 / Storm Speaker / Druid

Passive Perception is 21. Does that let me localize P2 (or any others)?

Yes it does. They're not particularly stealthy - apart from the giants who discorporated.

M Goliath Cleric 14 / Storm Speaker / Druid

Cronin, being blind, has the only vaguest idea of the tactical layout which Greeg is describing, but endorses it nonetheless. "Right! I'll go . . . that way. But something else first! WIth a roar of thunder from the desert sky, a white bolt of lightning lances at the nearest combatants. The sand giant seems to suffer no ill effects, but Cronin and his allies have a thin white aura (for those who can still see).

The goliath then lumbers blindly toward the middle of the hamlet, bellowing a call to Kord to let them fight the way they are meant to. The deity seems to respond, as both Cronin's and Don's eyes are cleared of sand.

Thanks. Moment of Glory -- close blast 5, encompassing P2, Greeg, and Kevaras. Attack P2 Will

Resist 5 all TEOMNT (sustainable); to end enc +2 all defenses and can slide enemy ending adjacent

Leaving Greeg to sort out P2, Cronin flails his way to the centre of the hamlet and prays loudly. Divine armour shrouds Kevaras and both goliaths and a second later, Don finds his eyes clearing. Cronin himself is now able to look about him and what he sees is a less giant-rich environment than he remembered.

Dram, did you move? I'm guessing so and adjusted the map.

Dram gropes his way towards the giant and misses, while Dirt does his best. Concerned for his compaion, the bear's swipe also misses, but by an even narrower margin. As he composes himself, the druid wipes the sand from his face and can see once more.

Looks like Zero is having connection troubles of some kind. Can someone take his turn for him? I really don't want to delay him with the bad guys going immediately after.

Male Drow Protecting Paladin 14 / Hospitaler

While searching around for his own opponent, Kevaras watches Don follow through with his threat. Over the noise of battle, the drow thinks he can hear Don saying,

"…he sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the Raven Queen. That's the Chicago way!"

Piercing Strike (Don has combat advantage via Cunning Stalker against P1 because there are no creatures adjacent to either of them.)
1d20 + 21 ⇒ (14) + 21 = 35 vs P1's Reflex for 1d4 + 14 + 3d8 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 14 + (6, 6, 5) + 3 + 2 = 39 damage.

Oh BTW Zerombr, looks like Don is from the mean streets of Chicago now ;)

Don's whispered words are followed by another devastating attack. P1 staggers back with scarlet blood all over his chest. Retaliating instantly, he hurls a handful of super-heated sand over the rogue.

Solar flare (Ref)
1d20+19=33 v Don. Hits. 2d8+4=14

P2 shifts uneasily away from Greeg and Kevaras, while P3 also shift away from the bear, Dram and Nayce, hurling more sand over the druid as he backs off.

Solar flare (Ref)
1d20+19=33 v Dram. Hits. 2d8+4=12
12 damage to Dram

The battle does not appear to be going the way the young giants planned at all.

"You're not leaving too are you? I was just starting to warm up!" Greeg stated as he swung his weapon. He sounded a bit disapointed.

P2 also looks slightly remorseful as Greeg adds a bonus wound to his collection.

Zeric "Two Gnomes" is up.

The gnome focuses his energy on wiping himself out of the mind of a nearby enemy. Nearby, another gnome sprouts up.

mind wipe 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (6) + 16 = 221d6 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12 vs will. and Augment 1 point to make my invisibility last until the end of my next turn. At this time I would also like to summon my dream form at z31

Zeric's attempt to erase himself from the mind of the young giant is hampered by the abrupt appearance of another one of him. P3 blinks slightly as an unexpected gnome materialises in front of him.

Cronin shoulders the oncoming giants aside, forcing them to keep their distance.

Male Dwarf Invoker/Divine Philosopher 14

"Ah, there you are. How do you do that, by the way? You seem a bit large to be hiding behind grains of sand." Guldarin starts a conversation with the giant as it becomes visible again, before blasting it and two of it's companions with divine light.

"Anyone need any help over there? Keveras? Greeg? Cronin?"

Male Goliath Warden - Stoneblessed

Greeg grunted in pain as his original foe appeared behind him and stuck him in the vitals. "Now that was a little tricksy for honourable combat, friend" he stated in giant, glaring at the big creature as he said it.

Finding himself with foes on either side, he stepped carefully back and swung his hammer in a mighty arc, targetting both creatures before calling on the power of the earth around him to give him strength again.

Shift to y11 - move action

Standard action - Mountain Sweep - Standard Melee; Up to two opponents. 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (19) + 17 = 36 Vs AC against P2, 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (9) + 17 = 26vs AC against S2, 2d10 + 12 ⇒ (1, 1) + 12 = 14 damage each.

Action point to spend a healing surge since that dropped me to bloodied. Rev, does the Resitance stack for me and Cronin's abilities for a total of 19 off that crit? if not I need to adjust my current hitpoints down by 5.

Will mark S2, leaving P2 marked by Kevaras I believe

M Goliath Cleric 14 / Storm Speaker / Druid

Does not stack, but I believe it applies separately to the two damage types.

Male Drow Protecting Paladin 14 / Hospitaler
Guldarin wrote:
"Anyone need any help over there? Keveras? Greeg? Cronin?"

"I'm fine. Although Cronin might need support," he notes, while pointing with his sword towards Sneaks 1 and 4, who've spilled out of the sand.

Inspired by the hammering of P2, the paladin whispers a quick prayer to grant strength to his comrade in battle.

As an Immediate Reaction to:

Greeg wrote:

I use Benediction to allow Greeg to spend a healing surge.

The resist applies to each separate attack. Since the fire damage is part of the same attack as the untyped, I'd say that you only get a resist 5 overall. Tell me if you think I'm misinterpreting the rules though.

"We learn to hide wherever we can," explains S3 helpfully. "This is sand country, so obviously that's what we hide in."

His reward is a radiant pat on the head that brusies him. Guldarin is so interested in the explanation that his other attacks miss.

Greeg expresses his displeasure at the sneaky tactics by obliterating P2 who looks a bit aggrieved.

"It wasn't me that jumped out of the sand at you ..."

Kevaras murmurs a quick prayer and sends encouragement towards his new goliath friend.

Minor: Healing Word on self for surge+
3d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 6) = 11

Cronin calls back to Guldarin, "I'm fine, but let's get rid of some of these kids!" With that, he hurls his halberd at one of the opponents, then himself appears next to the giant to retrieve his weapon.

HP 93/96, Surge 8/9, Heal 1/2, resist 5 all (sustainable)

Male Goliath Warden - Stoneblessed

Rev (spoilered to not clutter ic thread)

Spoiler:
I assume you mean I only get resistance 14, rather than resistance 5? I think my stones endurance takes precedence to Cronins ability by the stacking rules, but I may be wrong. Also, my resistance 14 is now over, it only lasts till end of my next turn. All my defenses are at +4 though since I used a second wind and Goliath bloodlines let's me use con mod rather than just +2. If I'm wrong about the resistance I need to know as my hit points are a bit lower than I thought hehe

Greeg:
You're quite right - I just forgot about your resist 14. You use that to reduce the damage from the 42 you took from the Sneak. It doesn't stack with Cronin's helpful resist 5, but you will get the benefit from that if they live long enough to hit you again.

Reroll 1 on shroud 1d8 ⇒ 2

And because the die roller hates me, damage on a miss is 29.

I have +2 to AC and Reflex to EOMNT.

My stupid computer died again *shakes fist*, but i guess is that what i get using a really old computer. I cannot see the map from this computer. I believe I can do this even when my marked target is making AoO's. The power doesn't specify otherwise.

You can indeed.

The Sneak takes an unexpected and most unwelcome blow to the back of the head as Greeg gives it a brisk lesson in manners.

Andaros and Zeric are up.

Okay.

First: Minor Action cast Arcane Gate opening from my present position to Q19

Out of a suddenly opened portal of arcane energies a leather clad figure with sylvan features steps out of it. He brandishes a longsword glowing with a mix of sunlight and eldritch energies and calls out.

"Overgrown misanthropes! you face Andaros Dawnblade now! By Fire Be Purged!"

Second: Going to target a 3 burst Fireball the intention is to center it at X19 to target all S1, S2, and S4 without catching Gr and K. Otherwise I will settle for hitting S1 and S4, if my fireball will catch only one of Gr and K, I will twist the arcane fabric to move that person 3 squares out of it's areaa of effect (free action)

Casting Fireball at our three large targets (modifier +2 damage as 2 or more targets are in the area) Rolls will be against S1, S2, 4 in that order.

Attack against S1 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (7) + 14 = 21

Attack against S2 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (17) + 14 = 31

Attack against S4 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (15) + 14 = 29

Damage 4d6 + 10 ⇒ (1, 3, 2, 4) + 10 = 20

Add one more point of damage since I forgot to note that at 11th level that bonus from destructive wizardry jumps to +3

I'm also taking a free action to use my Wand of accuracy power to boost the attack roll on S1 to 31. all those attacks are vs. Reflex.

A miss on those attacks halves the damage to 10.

Andaros announces his arrival in spectacular style. Appearing abruptly between two scraggy shrubs, he engulfs three of the sneaks in a ball of flame. None can dodge, but disappoiningly the fire does less damage that the newcomer had hoped.

All hit, but sand giants have resist 10 fire.

The sneaks look less than impressed as they smoulder slightly, but shrug and make the best of it.
