Cronin |
Cronin, being blind, has the only vaguest idea of the tactical layout which Greeg is describing, but endorses it nonetheless. "Right! I'll go . . . that way. But something else first! WIth a roar of thunder from the desert sky, a white bolt of lightning lances at the nearest combatants. The sand giant seems to suffer no ill effects, but Cronin and his allies have a thin white aura (for those who can still see).
The goliath then lumbers blindly toward the middle of the hamlet, bellowing a call to Kord to let them fight the way they are meant to. The deity seems to respond, as both Cronin's and Don's eyes are cleared of sand.

Leaving Greeg to sort out P2, Cronin flails his way to the centre of the hamlet and prays loudly. Divine armour shrouds Kevaras and both goliaths and a second later, Don finds his eyes clearing. Cronin himself is now able to look about him and what he sees is a less giant-rich environment than he remembered.

Dram gropes his way towards the giant and misses, while Dirt does his best. Concerned for his compaion, the bear's swipe also misses, but by an even narrower margin. As he composes himself, the druid wipes the sand from his face and can see once more.

Kevaras Zanorin |
While searching around for his own opponent, Kevaras watches Don follow through with his threat. Over the noise of battle, the drow thinks he can hear Don saying,
"…he sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the Raven Queen. That's the Chicago way!"
Piercing Strike (Don has combat advantage via Cunning Stalker against P1 because there are no creatures adjacent to either of them.)

Oh BTW Zerombr, looks like Don is from the mean streets of Chicago now ;)

Don's whispered words are followed by another devastating attack. P1 staggers back with scarlet blood all over his chest. Retaliating instantly, he hurls a handful of super-heated sand over the rogue.

Greeg grunted in pain as his original foe appeared behind him and stuck him in the vitals. "Now that was a little tricksy for honourable combat, friend" he stated in giant, glaring at the big creature as he said it.
Finding himself with foes on either side, he stepped carefully back and swung his hammer in a mighty arc, targetting both creatures before calling on the power of the earth around him to give him strength again.

"Anyone need any help over there? Keveras? Greeg? Cronin?"
"I'm fine. Although Cronin might need support," he notes, while pointing with his sword towards Sneaks 1 and 4, who've spilled out of the sand.
Inspired by the hammering of P2, the paladin whispers a quick prayer to grant strength to his comrade in battle.

The resist applies to each separate attack. Since the fire damage is part of the same attack as the untyped, I'd say that you only get a resist 5 overall. Tell me if you think I'm misinterpreting the rules though.
"We learn to hide wherever we can," explains S3 helpfully. "This is sand country, so obviously that's what we hide in."
His reward is a radiant pat on the head that brusies him. Guldarin is so interested in the explanation that his other attacks miss.
Greeg expresses his displeasure at the sneaky tactics by obliterating P2 who looks a bit aggrieved.
"It wasn't me that jumped out of the sand at you ..."
Kevaras murmurs a quick prayer and sends encouragement towards his new goliath friend.
