Should we assume a basic familiarity with the River Freedoms? Do we need to roll a knowledge check for such information? If so, which knowledge? Local? Nobility?

how high do the posts extend beyond the walkway on the upper level of the walls? i plan to hide just above the gate. also, do we have the time to take 20 to hide?

Yes, you have time to take 20 and hide, and they wall extends about 4 feet ish up from the walkway, so you have plenty of room to hide above the gate.

so, i was planning on waiting until they got in a little further and jumping on the one that's furthest back. not sure if i can charge at all or if waiting a bit loses us the element of surprise. also, did we lose Raennia again?

Raennia's player had life crop up and keep them away from Paizo for long periods of time.
This also brings up some bad news. I'm going to have to put this campaign on hold for now. Life has gotten pretty busy and I can't guarantee post times for myself. I should've done this earlier but I tried to keep up, but life has other plans.
I feel especially terrible for having everyone go through so much effort for this campaign for it to be put on hold so early in its infancy. For that I apologize...
I do not know how long the hiatus will be either.
