Nästród stays and waits for Imowen to get back with her findings.

Imowen and Flug make their way to the west side of the stable, where a bridge made of rope and wooden planks spans a narrow ravine. The bridge is already covered in ice and snow, and it sways alarmingly in the icy winds blowing through the gorge. The turbulent waters of a fast-moving creek surge through a couple of waterfalls far below.

Celif quietly confers with Nästród as they wait. "If we think these things are inherently evil I can ask Septimus for communal protection for our entire group; it will last for some time. Almost anything else i can do is on an individual basis."

Sorry for going quiet, got thrown a curve-ball. Should be back now.

I say to Flug,"Wait here and I'll go get the others."

I return the way I came and fill Nastrod and Celif in on the area I found and encourage them to follow me.
Then I go and rejoin Flug.

Are you all joining Imowen at the location by the stable?

Cast Lead Blades on myself.

"Do you have a slashing or piercing weapon?" Nästród whispers to his compatriots as he joins them, "If so, hand it to me. I shall make a spell that shall hone it keener for a while."

Cast Keen Edge on one slashing/piercing weapon for each party member, including me.

Celif shakes her head. "Septimus doesn't endorse such. Excepting crossbow bolts and my dagger, what I have is blunted."

Re: Joining Imowen, Celif is, yes.

I say,"Here, Nastrod, here's one of my shortswords you can put a Keen Edge on . . " as I hand it to him.
"Then let's figure this out and get 'er done! Time's a wasting!"

The sun has set. Night has fallen. The temperature continues to drop, as the frigid wind blows around the hilltop...

"We m-must move quickly. Imowen g-goes first in case of traps?"

"I don't think we have time."

It seems all good things must come to an end…

Two life changing events have occurred that are preventing me from staying on top of the game.

First, I have been battling a serious health issue for about 6 months, which has taken its toll. I have had to devote considerable time visiting doctors, getting stuck by wide assortment of needles, etc. A royal, and expensive pain to deal with.

Second, in March 2015 my wife and I formed a new company, and we have been designing and writing a new kind of role playing game. We are about to launch the first major product next week, and the work involved in getting it ready for production and distribution has eaten up the rest of my spare time.

So, it seems that these events must take precedence currently, and this will be the end of the game for now. I appreciate the participation of everyone who joined this online adventure, and hope I brought at least a little excitement into your life.

Good luck in all your endeavors. I look forward to learning more about the upcoming product and I have to say it has been fun.

I, too, have enjoyed this immensely, despite not being able to play as much and as consistently as I'd've liked. Even so, short of our local "live" group, this is the longest-running game I've ever been in.

Story Master, thank you so much for all the effort you obviously put into this campaign. I do hope we'll have the chance to resume someday but, in the meantime, here's wishing you all the best, both in regards to your new endeavor and to your health.
