The Jewel of the West (Inactive)

Game Master Zedth

After many long decades of crippling war, heroes from nations around the globe have decreed this new Age of Despair will be brought to an end. A council is assembling on the ruins of the Archmagus' once-beautiful city. There, in the shadow of the only remaining splendor of good times past--the Emerald Tower--they will convene and forge a new alliance to usher in a new age of peace, law, and freedom from the hellish shackles of tyranny.

Looking for some players interested in learning the Play-by-post world with me.
Starting at level 1, looking to have some fun with my homebrew world, Pathfinder rule system, looking for about 3-5 players.

Let the interrogation commence, we must know more of you and this campaign setting beyond what you put in the info tab...

Like do you ban synthesist summoners, scarred witchdoctors?
Point buy or roll?
Houserules?
And so much more...

I'm interested to know more of the homebrew setting too, as well as the houserules as Viluki mentioned.

Viluki and I were both participants in a "New GM" PbP of the Wrath of the Righteous Adventure Path. He disappeared after about 50 posts...

@ Viluki, we have to stop meeting like this. Would be great to PbP more than 50 posts together... ;) Except I see you are Namon AND Rennoc... Huh. Daishata and Darque say hi... seems Sunless has met an unfortunate but sadly not uncommon end...

I am new player that has never played before but I have all the required materials and would love to join you. I have a Dwarf Cleric to play with but that maybe change.

I'm all game. Been meaning to try out a broodmaster who works with his eidolons using teamwork feats. I have never played before either, though.

I'm also brand new to PbP but familiar with Pathfinder, would probably love to join (would like a little more info too). Would probably like to try a Tetori Monk.

Okay so literally something came up overnight...
I am putting this campaign on the back burner for the next while.

I appreciate the interest. When I am ready again I will reopen the campaign thread with more information in the Campaign Tabs so that we're all on the same page.

I too would like to hear more of this world...but maybe in the future

As a new GM myself, I must recommend "rules-lite" to you so that we can focus on RPing rather than crunch.

I'm quite interested in this, and will have a bare-bones character put together soon.

The secret to this is to gauge what the players want, and keep on even if you make a mistake!

Dark Archive

I'd be interested, if you get back to it. XD

**this Campaign is currently inactive. I don't know if this post will show on the recruitment feed, but please no applicants yet. I need more time to fill out the game info.**

About me:
First time PBP DM here, so bear with me. Been playing tabletop RPGs since about '92, been gaming since I was 3.
The legend of Zelda for NES in 1986 caught my imagination, and its been all downhill from there! I live in Las Vegas, and I can never get enough game-time in! I can update the game and/or post multiple times a day including weekends, barring vacations and other unexpected absences. I'm pretty easy going. I am proficient with the ruleset but I make mistakes like anyone else, but I prefer smoothness over rules-lawyering. I will hand-wave when I deem it necessary.

This Game:
Homebrew setting, Pathfinder rules. Looking for 4-6 players. Pathfinder/Golarion Pantheon primarily but the heavens are vast... If you prefer a deity from another edition of D&D of from other sources, run it by me and I'll probably OK it.

Character Creation:
20 Point buy. 250 GP starting wealth. No evil alignments.
Classes, Feats, Spells: Core Rulebook, Advanced Player Guide only.
Class archetypes and racial feature swaps: APG only.
Background Story: I'm big on flavor. I want a background story in your profile and I want it to make me either laugh, cry, or go "hell ya!" It doesn't have to be ultra long, just make it count for something.

Your post did show up, so you get some feedback and know. However, it's marked inactive, so you might not get many posters. You might want to start a new recruitment thread. Good luck with the game. Afraid core only is a bit too same 'ol same 'ol for an old gm like me, LOL.

Grand Lodge

I really like your storyline so far Zedth. Pathfinder is actually the first RPG of this style that I've played since I started a couple of months ago, so I don't mind playing the classics.

While your working on the game info, I'll draft a PC for you.
