It had a year out when the first GM left. I managed to get the game going again a few months ago, and we got a new GM in. We've lost two players now and we're getting worried about a third, hence the recruitment. Myself and Darian are still around though and we're the most active so there's life at least... new blood is what we need I think. If we had some other people who actually posted quickly I think we'd be fine - we respond within a day normally so we just need some posting partners! :)

It's within a reasonable fight range - it's entirely up to you. :) I don't throw elementally resistant Treants around you know! :P
Go just means its your turn - Khanimah is running for it and the kaleen will follow your lead, this isn't their ideal kind of fight though. I've got a bit of a 'Knights of Gondor retreating from Osgiliath with the Nazgul' scene in my head for this - whether you want to be Gandalf is up to you... :D
Hey, not even encounter is meant to be won! Besides, that fight was more about the imagery. Giant tree throwing lightning at a huge turtle, steam everywhere, huge raging river...I'm proud of that scene!
Also, how far away is the Sphinx at this moment? Can I reach it in one round?

It had excellent imagery - the whole boat trip did in fact. :)
As to the sphinx - not in one round. The pyramid is made up of 10 by 10 blocks, so on the third tier its 30 ft horizontal and 30ft vertical from you. So by pathfinder reckoning about 45 feet on a 45 degree angle... *eye roll*
2 rounds with a DC15 climb each time.

You know a few of your kaleen are worshippers of the Lord in Iron though.
I was honestly expecting to sort of retcon the Gorum symbol. But I can RP something with one of the kaleen members if you'd like.
We can say you got it back at the main army camp - whichever you prefer.
We can RP it after the battle, perhaps.
For mass combat: take a scan through the tactics lists on the SRD. I deliberately kept this battle pretty simple so we could both get used to how it works.
Biggest hint I can give - you've got bows, use them! :)

Exactly 0 yes - so you're staggered. Still have enough action for a cure spell though :)

No - but you haven't always done what I've expected. I'm sure you've found it with Ash too, what the player sees as IC for the character, is not necessarily what the GM was expecting the character to do! :)
