Koytine cocks an eyebrow at the suddenly excited inn owner.
Exploring? Where is Brinewall? What is to be found there?

She looks down at her flowing robes.
These will not do for adventuring, let me change.

Koytine reaches up and adjust her sleeves. A moment later, her clothes shimmer and rather than the bright colored flowing robes she had on before, she is suddenly garbed in greenish brown camouflage adventuring clothes.

Ah, much better. One should always have a change of clothes ready in case circumstances change.

Ameiko here is going to force Sandru there to take his caravan to Brinewall whether he wants to or not. I have seen that look in her eye before and she will not be denied. I suspect we will head out there, then come back after a few weeks and all have enjoyed our little adventure.

Stepping aside, Shiori takes out the fan which the goblins had defiled. "I was hoping that you could assist me in cleaning this up, the goblins drew a map on it but other then that I believe that Amei-ne would like it. If you could I would very much appreciate your assistance."

Assuming that Koytine uses her cantrips to help, is she the one that would need to make the craft check or can that be provoded by a third party?

Hmm, I have Profession(seamstress) since I like to make clothes. Should that be a craft skill instead?

Craft(fix fan): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19

Koytine plays around with the fan, casting this spell and then, and amazingly after about 20 minutes seems to have somehow cleaned and fixed the fan without breaking it.

After talking with her new companions for a while, and fixing their broken fans, Koytine will go and see Koya to ask her to join the caravan.

Good evening Koya. I know that you have been enjoying traveling with Shadru's caravan recently. Well, the group you sent me to meet is going to accompany Sandru to some place called Brinewall. Apparently Ameiko seems to think that some treasure or family heirloom is there. I was wondering whether you might want to join us. Sandru specifically asked for you to come.

She grabs Koya's bags and helps her back to the dragon.
Are we leaving immediately? Or in a few days? If it is a few days, Koytine will hold off on helping with the bags until we are actually ready to leave.

Upon your return to the caravan, you see Exiel in an animated discussion with Sandru about where he should put several large and bulky wooden training dummies and a small chest of books and manuals. He appears to be taking great pains to appease the irate Caravaneer for the extra space that the equipment will take up.

Darinius too has a large chest of books he is trying to cram somewhere into the caravan.

Unlike Exiel, Darinius seems to have lost his discussion with Sandru, who put his foot down on the idea of bringing an alchemical laboratory along on the road.

The morning everyone is prepped to leave you all find Sandru already there with the three wagons

There is Koya's Fortune teller wagon, a covered wagon and a supply wagon.

These will do for now, I reckon it will take us 16 days to get where we are going. Everyone is going to be required to work, though Exiel here has worked out an agreement with me to spend the first week or so studying, so he will just be eating our food and nothing else. All right lets move!

so someone will need to keep track of the caravan statistics etc, and who is doing what if someone wants I can send you a spreadsheet that is really helpful. Also everyone needs to let me know what role they are going to be filling for the time being. Shalelu is scouting Koya is a fortune teller, Sandru is driving, Ameikp is an entertainer and Sandru has two additional drivers named Bevelek and Vankor

The roles that I can fill are rather limited, Trader, Guard, and Hero. I imagine Trader fits my skill set better then Guard.

It sounds like I can't fill a role if I'm retraining learning kung-fu, so I'll be retraining learning kung-fu. If I can still fill a role, I'll play guard or hero.

On the plus-side, Sandru will have the benefit of my diplomacy score as a trader when he wants to do trading.

The news spread like wild-fire, Ameiko was off on another adventure … She is taking her younger sister with her. Not only that, but others are going as well thanks to Ameiko using Sandru and his caravan. They are off to strange places and may never come back. I heard that they are going to the Mwangi this time.”

“No, you fool. She is staying here while her brother is leaving.”

“That is not what I heard. I heard that she has finally had enough of the goblins and is leaving forever.”

All of these rumors Mary heard and more as well. Her curiosity got the better of her and instead of relying on the rumor mill to deliver the information she headed down to the Dragon to find out for herself what was going on. Before she left her house though, she gathered up her supplies in the hope that she would be able to find a position on the caravan if indeed Sandru was involved.

Walking down the road in her limping gate she takes in the sight before her. Indeed, there was a caravan being readied to leave shortly. Looking around Mary spies Sandru talking to a group of people issuing instructions. Figuring that they would be the best ones to talk to she slowly moves up to speak with them. Excuse me. My name is Mary Roseblossom. Who do I need to talk to about joining the caravan? I am hoping that I can work for my expenses as I do not have enough money to just purchase passage. I am hoping that a position is open as I have a desire to travel now that nothing has me tied down to Sandpoint any longer. I am a decent scout should the caravan need one and if people are injured I can heal them should they need it.

Before you stands a red haired halfling lass equipped with a longspear that she uses as a walking stick to aid her limp, a dagger and Morningstar at her hip, a buckler on her forearm and lt crossbow over her shoulder. On her back is a large pack with an assortment of supplies for traveling: shovel, hammer, bedroll, and even a small tent can be seen fastened to the underside of the pack. What catches your eye though is the chainshirt that she is wearing. It almost seems as if some of the links are made of gold and platinum in the image of a giant key on the front.

Some of you may know Mary as she has been in Sandpoint before leaving for her training. She has returned though and been back for a few months. You may know her father Uldar more though as he was a merchant in Sandpoint dealing with foreign trinkets that he acquired before settling down and starting his business.

As a spellcaster many options available but would probably scout to reduce consumption until people are sick or injured, then would be a healer.

Day one

The caravan sets off with their new passenger, Mary. 1d100 ⇒ 20 The day is long and hard, but uneventful. The evening comes and the wagons circle up.

Exiel has been setting up his training dummies and practicing, or reading from his new collection of books and trying out new moves. Occasionally you hear a yelp of pain as he mucks up, and you get the impression that the steady sound of flesh-and-bone against wood (padded or otherwise) will be something you will need to get used to for awhile.

(Counting one day in Sandpoint, this will be training Day 2. 28 to go.)

Shiori spends most of her day with her sister, watching her performances and conversing with her at times. Every once in awhile she also checks in on Exiel to make sure that he isn't killing himself.

Later in the evening, Shiori approaches Koya. "I saw you looking at some cards, would it be possible for you to explain their usage to me?" She asks, referring to the elderly woman's harrow deck.

Koytine spends the day scouting (as a spellcaster). She starts with a cool camouflage look, but gets bored part way through the day and switches to an all black outfit. By the end of the day, she has switched several more times and by the time she has rejoined the caravan, it is not a young lady, but rather an old grumpy halfling that wanders back into camp, partially covered in twigs and wearing clothes that look as though she robbed an elderly elf.

During the day Mary does her best to work as a scout for the caravan finding food and looking out for dangers ahead. At night before she goes to bed she jots down notes as to what she say Sandru do during the day. At night she will gather around the fire and listen to the others talk and join in on the conversations. Not one to be shy at all if the is no conversation she will start one herself to get tot know the rest of the group better.

Just throwing this out if people want to RP. If not then Mary is good to go.
