Exiel venerates Torag, due to his background amongst military strategists. Also, I do not think that the enlightened paladin requires you to worship Irori? I could be mistaken.

And yes, after 5 days, Exiel will revert to regular paladin.

I saw nothing saying that the archetype, though intended for worshipers of Irori, requires you to worship Irori. Surely anyone can strive for enlightenment, regardless of deity choice.

A lot of the archetypes are deity specific in their original form, but then on the d20 site, they have removed the "deity" requirements. Pretty sure the Spherewalker for instance was Desna worshippers, and I imagine the Veiled Illusionist was probably Silvanah originally.

Personally, I really do not care. I suppose if it was a deity specific class, then one would likely have to go to a monastery or temple and study the specific ways of the class for months. Since PF, and most RPG do not handle leveling in this fashion, I see no reason why anyone cannot choose any class as long as the purpose for the class is not too far from the personality of the character.

Why does nobody want to run a Evangelist PrC, you effectively lose one level of your base class, but get some fun abilities that more than make up for the loss. Heck, if everyone hates divine classes so much, I can reskin Koytine as a priest or oracle and someone can build a arcanist.

lol, its ok Koytine, play the illusionist...its all good. I really like the concept my buddy is building up. He is not a dedicated healer but that is alright, he just has to be able to heal in combat, out of combat will be simple.

That said if you want to resin to evangelist that is fine, I can let him know that he can change his oracle to a bit more offensive

Working on the backstory for Bastion my MW chainshirt. Once that is done and the gear purchased I will be ready to go.

The gear will be pretty basic but I do have a question for the group. How would having a riding dog affect the mechanics of a caravan or do I really need to have one? It seems as if reading the caravan rules it would go against our consumption like a horse. If thatis the case then I will forgo the caravan as I will be riding in a wagon already.

Rules pretty much was that all "companions" count toward consumption unless it is really small, like a familiar. At least that is my read.

Trying to do a little catch up, have you all decided where the points are going for the starting caravan or has Sandru already decided that? Are there any supplies/provisions that we need to worry about or cargo?

MiniGM, would it be possible to have Mary purchase some trade goods to bring along either personally or as part of the caravan. Looking at whenever we arrive at a trading settlement to see if Mary can try and out do Sandru on selling items. I want to have a friendly rivalry with him if possible comparing our respective skills.

Thanks, got the caravan spreadsheet downloaded and then uploaded to google drives. Looks like I can use it there. I do not have time to get it set up tonight. Possibly tomorrow although I have a busy day.

I will also share in in a view only mode. I prefer doing this with email access to the party only, so if people can PM me their emails, I will adjust the security.

Starting off the conversation about the caravan.

What feat do people want as that might impact where we put the first 3 points. Of course if we go with efficient caravan we reduce our consumption by 2 and it doesn't restrict where we put our points.

also note that you are allowed to try to improve scores with other NPCs, just intreat as Mary has begun to do, anytime you think your RP might warrant a change of score just make a roll with whatever skill you think is appropriate

I'll probably have Exiel take leadership. I realised as I was typing his latest post in the gameplay thread that it will fit very neatly with his backstory, and he would have the proper motivation. Also, since item-crafting is banned for this campaign, I have some feat slots that I have to make other plans for.

Just posting my thoughts here on the caravan build. I am thinking we should separate the 3 points and put two in mobility and 1 in morale with the feat efficient consumption. That gives us some options going forward. At second we could take enhanced caravan to boost mobility to 5 to make us quicker at 3rd level or boost another stat to 3. If we went this route we would not only use less resources per day but we would travel farther per day as well.

Other thoughts?

Its my daughters 1st birthday tomorrow and lots of family coming in so I may not have a chance to check in till late tomorrow night. I plan on getting a post up to Sandru though MiniGM for her nightly activities.

MiniGM and Koytine...

I took a look at that caravan spreadsheet and noticed a possible problem. It looks like we have capacity for 10 people but there are more than that with us. 4 NPC's +2 drivers + 5 PC's. Are we just rolling with that for right now until we have a chance to correct that? Otherwise we would need to remove one of the drivers and replace it with one of us. As we have not had any encounters yet it may not be a big deal but looking at it in case Koytine wants help filling the sheet out or is busy and wants me to do it as she said she indicated her spouse is gone. Just let me know.

Here is a quick caravan I did just to see how the feats, point allocation, and travelers worked.

Let me know what you think Koytine and the rest. I haven't done anything with equipment yet as far as supplies go. the only thing I know of is that Mary purchased 4 trade goods herself.
