The howls sent shivers down Llanos arms, trying to maintain himself the elf moved to the other side of the prisoners wagon. There he secured his flail back in its straps and drew out his Cold Iron halberd and braced it against his foot.

"Best to be cautious I guess, just in case."

Moving to guard the other side of the prisoner wagon with a braced halberd and trying to utilize my low light vision to peer into the camps surroundings. Heh yeah I was planning on playing off the fear and staying close. Go right ahead and scout away

He taps the barrel of the pistol against his leg in a slow staccato, matching his cadence.. "Maybe she was your mother."

The Doctor yells at Crissa to go with Grethel and Togar after it appears no one else is moving that way. "Go on girl, we got enough here." nodding towards the group leaving. Crissa grabs her lantern and follows.

as Hans is threatening the Twins a Crow comes down and lands on the wagon. looking down at Hans "CAW!" a second then a third also join in.

The feeling of menace slowly starts to decend on the camp, and the woods where the others are at after a few minutes of time.........

The woods where Grethel, torgar and Crissa are at suddenly goes completely quiet. as if the Forest itself is holding its breath.

Crissa says quietly "Should we head back to camp?"

Crissa, togar, and grethel are 3 rounds out with double move.

"Yeah, whatever this is isn't good," Grethel says. "We should head back."


The camp looks up as the moon slowly starts turning deep red the color of blood. clouds slowly forming around the campsite with a hole being the blood-like moon almost like a giant eye looking upon the campgrounds.

the prisoners start slow chanting "She comes, She comes"

You hear all around the camp "CAW, CAW, CAW, CAW" as if the ravens that have been gathering. are announcing someone.

I'll be doing another round of saves for everyone for the blood moon save. the blood moon a fail chk causes –2 penalty on saving throws against diseases, curses, corruptions, and madnesses.

The corruption and evil from the moon has a effect on most of your party. in the distance of the camp you see a single light heading toward your camp. where at first you think it might be the rest returning the light is all wrong is a glow like magic rather than a flame.

You see the doctor casting a spell.

The power of the moon courses through his veins bringing steely strength to his sinews. Vort drops his greataxe and his form morphs into that of a

Vort retreives his greataxe in his mighty paws and turns to greet the light with spit and blood spilling from his jaws.

Hans can't help but recognize the ominous sign. Something powerful. Despite his resolve, a tickle of...maybe not fear...but concern, a precursor to fear, stirs in his stomach. So be it...

He pulls the trigger and the deep *CRACK* of a black powder firearm washes over the sounds of the crows and chanting.

Alexandria calmly walks to the prisoner wagon, both to keep a better eye on them as well to have something to her back so that she cannot be encircled.

She will then cast Protection from Evil upon herself, under the assumption that something bad is about to happen.

The light of the blood moon and the eerie sounds of the crows washed over Llanofiss like a wave. His will shattered and he knew the group was in trouble.

The sound of the pistol going off briefly startled Llanofiss, he turned toward the wagon and moved closer to see if he could help Hans.

"Who are they droning on about? This is getting out of hand quickly. Could USE SOME HELP OVER HERE!" the elf called out to the three scouting around the camp.

I'm kind of regretting having done that, but it's done... I have other actions planned depending on how many rounds we have until "something happens".


With the sounds of the firearm going off ravens take to the sky. scattering before you know it you realize that where you believed there was many there was in fact hundreds and they swarm up around the moon and then dive down. turning into a murder of crows. you see the lights pulling apart into several.

@Hans you actually miss Rufus. he was not flat footed expecting the attack because you had the gun pointed at him for several moments.

Hans notices the shape approaching in the woods. Damn. He yells out to warn the others, "Approaching from the woods behind the wagon!"

If that's what I think it is, this lead shot won't make much difference. Whether his assumption is right or not, Hans curses his decision to have loaded a regular bullet back into the pistol. He fires once more at Rufus, then takes a 5' step back to try to block a direct line between him and the shape in the woods without getting too close to the prisoners' wagon and reloads with silver shot.

A small shift of the feet sent Llanofiss towards the hulking figure coming out of the woods. Placing himself between the wagon and creature he reeled back slightly at the burst of light from Alexandria. "Let's do this!"

Once again the elf braces his halberd against a charge as he stays close to the group.


The doctor takes a moment to drink his mutatgen and muscles ripple through his while once he had a emaciated frame it now appears as if he is a person half his age.

The creature Easily shakes off Alexandra spell only emphasizing the threat the party faces.

Ref save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23

Running forward a wolf-like creature you can only assume is a werewolf makes its way out of the foliage. the wolf leans forward and with a quick couple of syllables point towards the wagon the doors of the wagon spring open as the wood of the wagon warp and break open flinging the iron door open.

The ravens come diving down attacking the largest group of hunters together. creating a swarm of biting ravens.

Hans and Alex can take AoO if you want to I wont do it automatically.

The ravens do dmg. to alex and Hans at the end of their turn. both of you please make a save DC 13 ref or blinded.
Swarm: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 2) = 8

The twins seeing the door open the one Hans called Rufus shouts,"About time mother, you don't even know how ready we were to rip into these fools." the twins momentarily go incorporeal and reappear letting the manacles drop down to the floor.

The one called Rufus that is injured then starts to change bones popping as he heads out of the wagon shouting "I told you! I'm freer than you." as he looks towards Hans.

The other twin surprisingly instead of changing shape looks towards Vort and says "you don't have to be with them, join us" and then looks towards llano then casts a spell at llano saving throw DC 16 (remember you have negative -2 from the blood moon)

I royally messed up the post I just made so just deleted it. I had already rolled a "dice" preview to see if I made the spellcraft check then posted my actions, but missed that I needed to make a reflex save against blindness for the swarm. I then edited the post to add the reflex save at the top since it was the priority upon which everything else hinged on it, but forgot the d20 rolls were set at that point and basically wound up f$*!ing up and essentially cheating (albeit unintentionally) on everything that followed. (FWIW, I made the blindness save because it used the number rolled for my Spellcraft, but my attack roll -- which had been pretty low -- became the spellcraft check and failed -- and then a new d20 was rolled for the attack roll which was now crazy high.)

I will do the same actions later but after others have posted and with a new RNG seed so as to not cheat.

Holding tight to his weapon Llanofiss looked on in surprise when the beast began casting a spell instead of charging. "Damnit didn't see that one coming." With the twist of his hips the elf reached into his belt, just as the caster twin tried to tempt Hans and cast his spell.

Hans moves out of the swarm of ravens, bloodied but still able to see. "The mangy cur is a mesmerist! Guard your minds!

But Hans is too bent on killing the beast that has come out of the woods to follow his own advice. At Rufus he yells, "Chained or not, you are still the son of a b+#&$!"


With a Powerful attack Vort cuts off the head of Rufus. felling him as he was going through he transformation, you hear Mard yall "Noo." as llanos tanglefoot bag sticks him to the floor and entangles him. he reaches out to his mother and says "Help!" as the werewolf takes one look at him and dashes into the woods. snarling at the rest of you "Ill feast on the fleash of your friends." as hans shoots her with a silver bullet eliciting a yell of pain. several Ravens come out of the woods protecting the werewolf. she is on the first slide if anyone wants to go after her.

Right now I've got resources (ammo and grit) at the top of my character profile. Unfortunately, there's kind of a lot to try to track and edit it within the boxes that display in the gameplay thread.


Hans, she went after you I was just trying to make it flow. I think as long as you show negatives on the roll and be extra careful on verbage, Ranged attack vs Touch attack. I should be fine. I just want you to not automatically take away negatives from your bonuses that way I can see the negatives. then just pull grit used I guess.

Yup. It was a readied action with a trigger of something if it got within 20'. Sorry, we seem to be miscommunicating on something.


then you fired a silver bullet at the Swarm then because she didn't get close. ill take the damage off werewolf. I assumed you went with her because the ammo and studied target. I think that was my bad then. just put on your readied action description the trigger in front of the rolls.

"Ah! I can't see!" Hans stumbles out of the swarm clutching at his eyes, pulling out one of the potions from his bandolier.

Move at half speed for 15' and use standard to draw a CLW potion.

Is it just Hans that is blind or both Hans and Alex?

Blinded Condition:
The creature cannot see. It takes a –2 penalty to Armor Class, loses its Dexterity bonus to AC (if any), and takes a –4 penalty on most Strength– and Dexterity-based skill checks and on opposed Perception skill checks. All checks and activities that rely on vision (such as reading and Perception checks based on sight) automatically fail. All opponents are considered to have total concealment (50% miss chance) against the blinded character. Blind creatures must make a DC 10 Acrobatics skill check to move faster than half speed. Creatures that fail this check fall prone. Characters who remain blinded for a long time grow accustomed to these drawbacks and can overcome some of them.

Llanofiss made a gleefull "yesss" as the tanglefoot bag stuck Mardi to the wagon. He then watched in horror as his ally took the head from the skinwalker in his terrifying bear form. Turning he watched the werewolf flee into the woods while threatening the groups allies.
"Not good, but the others know how to take care of themselves, at least I hope they can."
The swarm of ravens quickly engulfed him and Vort
Without hesitating he dropped the halberd and drew forth his flail while moving as much into the warped wagons opening as possible. There he flung the weapon into the flock with a powerful swing.

You see Mard watch as his mother leaves and says "F%$% you too you B~%&@."
And you see Mard go incorporeal again losing his bonds, then vanishes after casting a spell. (actually he doesn't have to he can move diagonally. I'm not going to redo the roll or delete due to seeds.)

the swarm attacking Vort and Llano double moves back towards the forest.

the large swarm goes towards Vort and LLano. The foul beasts rake at Vorts and Llano eyes. managing to score numerous hits to Llano. (LLano feels a bump into him. only for RP reasons to know he moved past)

Reflex save or Blinded llano: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11-- Blinded

Momentarily free of the crows' assault, Hans quaffs the potion (standard) then reloads his pistol with silver (move). "Grethel, where are you!?" he yells blindly into the night, suddenly realizing he has not heard her voice.

Alexandria turns in the direction of where the Mard was facing before he vanished. Then she casts Detect Thoughts to see if she can pick up anything from him.

Vort plants his feet firmly as the maelstrom of swarming vermin whips around him. He hacks and slashes at the air with a growling frenzy then bounds to the side to clear his vision.

Watching Mard drop his bindings and disappear put a furrow in Llanos brown. Before he knew it the swarm of crows blasted his face in a flurry of feathers. "Ahhh, what the! Yanolaxrixin Baeel"(roughly translated to 'melting soul pig birds')
Swinging blindly into the swarm he tried to take some of the monsters out while starting to move toward the Wolf Mother.

The doctor yells at Llano to "Stay put, that beast will tear you limb from limb."

"we have not heard from Grethel there is no telling what else is out there."

Vort kills off the group of Crows.

Alexandra can sense some thought however she does not know the location or if she is even picking up "Mard" due to Llano and Vort being in her range cone.

With a potion still in hand, Hans forces himself to take a breath and assess the situation with his eyes.
