PBP games seem to have a pretty high attrition rate.

Yes, they do. There's no real consequences for leaving a game or becoming busy enough to forget a game. I could open recruitment for another member of this nice little people party and have you guys vote in the next one. Or I can just fogettaboutit.

The pacing of this game has been quite slow (though it is not the slowest of my games). So I expect that may have been a factor. Since we started with six... I don't know.

But as we mentioned earlier, I wouldn't mind a wizard or sorcerer or witch or even alchemist if we can find one.

Doesn't seem like the kind of game where we need traditional party balance. Second the opinion, I'm liking it so far.

Yeah, my pacing for posting hasn't been the greatest at 1-2 a week. College starting up again has eaten away at my time, and my mind.

Don't you worry Akurna! You definitely have done something in the storyline and you'll get something alright. Fun times ahead. But yeah, slow games tend to dissuade others. Of course, this is a forum site, so it's not quick and in your face like live games.

And thanks Phaust! There's lots of different aspects of horror and I'm trying to go through them all.

FYI guys I know my posts have slowed down a bit lately.

Here's what's going on.

Right now we have a staffing shortage at my workplace, and I have been pulling extra shifts. This has left me pretty tired and worn out. I also expect to be training some new hires soon (though I'm not sure when), and since I do most of my posts from work it is unlikely I will be able to post much on those days, but we don't have a schedule for that person yet, so I don't yet know which days I am doing that, and I may not end up knowing until I arrive for my shift. So since I may not have any warning I'm letting you guys know now. The training will probably be spread over three days.

After that I am leaving for a much needed Vacation on September 30th. I expect to have internet access, so I should be able to post in that period, though it may be a bit irregular.

Sorry for any problems this might cause, and if I don't respond in a reasonable time bot me as needed. Things should be back to normal for me in mid-October.

Yup, I think this campaign is as dead as Pharasma's embrace. Maybe Phaust will resurface in another campaign. Happy holidays, one and all.

I've seen Crayfish Hora around here and there so he's not dead or anything.

But this adventure was always a bit vague and undefined. So I don't mind that it died. I've shopped Akurna around a bit but she's kind of a niche character so she hasn't found a home yet.
