So who is going to lead on this one as i have to confess i am not sure i should be talking here. Local authorities and officials tend to get me to loose some temper

This should be good......the highest charisma chars are both a tad off in behaviour.

A fist with the index-finger swirling is raised, when Gloin poses the topic.

Human Hp 22/29 AC 23 (+8 Perc; +5 Init; Fort +5, Ref +5, Will +6)

come on just do your thing :)

(?)

wait, what? So you think the mayor will respond well to a lap dance, 'cuase baby that's my thing

<Wait...wait, you are going to negotiate with the mayor?>

Lilly leads the others to the town hall. If there is some sort of steward she'll have to convince him first.

Firebeard said nothing and simply tried to look unassuming. The scars on his face and hands made that a little difficult, as did the flaming red hair and beard, but hey, he tried.

"We have to get into the underdark here. We're seeking an underground temple of some evil deity. Not to revere it, of course! Just to inspect it."

"Also, sir, what do you know about dimples? Miss Bowie wonders if my butt's got some, but I'm not sure!" Kirana turns her head to look at her behind. "I really am confused right now. Are they a good thing?"

You talk to the person at the reception at the town hall.

Yes the mayor is here but he is quite busy, I will let him know you request an audience. Who are you exactly? she says.

Oh dear, I should pay attention to those I converse with.

"Like my companion said," Kirana says to conclude her senseless rant.

"Firebeard" grunted the dwarf, with no further explanations.

She heads up the stairs for a moment and returns.

"The mayor has agreed to hear what you have to say but he wont have such a large group of armed strangers in his office. You may send up a representative or two however."

Human Hp 22/29 AC 23 (+8 Perc; +5 Init; Fort +5, Ref +5, Will +6)

the two ladies and myself? he hands over his weapon There that should take care of the armed part doesn't it? he says with a smile

(?)

I'll go, unarmed, but I'm not a diplomat. I'm an entertainer. Which reminds me, I really need to check in with my agent next time we are back home. And, you can refer to me as a lady, I don't mind, as long as you don't make a habit of it all the time.

Lilli looks sideways.
"Have we not adressed you that way up to the current moment?"

(smile)

(?)

Well, to be honest I only pay attention to some of the things everyone is saying, you know, it's like only the things that really matter get registered in my brain. I mean, sheesh, how many conversations have we had that, you know, aren't important enough to put down in some, kid of, I don't know, permenant record, well anyway, I guess I never really noticed. I thought I was just another one of the guys, you know.

"The two ladies and myself?" And what am I, huh?!

"Yes, you just go!" Kirana says, clearly offended. She turns around and crosses her arms.

"Meanies..." she mumbles while staring at the exit.

The mayor is taken aback by your statement.

"Is that so? I'm afraid you have been sent on somekind of fool's errand by that senile old man. Those worshipers have been gone a decade now and nobody remembers how to get into that old temple." he replies in a somewhat angry tone.

(?)

Come on Lily, this guy has set the record straight. We'll just have to return the 10,000 gold piece reward the Wizard gave us. Good thing you didn't tell the mayor ahead of time that we were supposed to share it with him, otherwise he might have tried to lie to us.

Human Hp 22/29 AC 23 (+8 Perc; +5 Init; Fort +5, Ref +5, Will +6)

Well then if there is nothing to worry about then you won't mind us trying to head down there and have a look for ourselves?

DM can roll gloin's sense motive :)

The mayor gives wag a skeptical look and doesn't respond.

"But of course you can have a look I heard there was an entrance hidden somewhere in the old graveyard."

<So....i've heard you being blunt to the shrinks, but THAT was just CRAZY...wait, you are...nvm..
Wait...what..what are you doing walking to that guy. I know he's young, but that mayor's not proven himself your friend. You're not thinking of..of....HELL NO!!!!!!>

Lilly walks up to the mayor,
I hope he's close to her age for rp sake..
Diplomacy/Sensual: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19
she kisses him on the cheek.
"Thank you."

Meanwhile Kirana's begun to inspect one of the paintings in the hall, taking in the surrealistic style with the knowledge of... someone who doesn't quite get it.

"Firebeard, do you like this painting? It looks like something my 7-year-old niece would draw."

I wonder what's going on upstairs...

He is a little over twice your age

Wycheck

The mayor is shocked at Lilly's actions

"Reconsider going down there if you know whats good for you. The temple of death is no place for amateurs who don't know what they are doing."

Human Hp 22/29 AC 23 (+8 Perc; +5 Init; Fort +5, Ref +5, Will +6)

I wouldn't worry so much about lilly, Mister Mayor she is a good woman at heart. Now i do have something to say. From our initial investigation about that temple and the events about 10 years ago, we know that right now you are holding back some information and not telling us everything you know he says

Eventually we will find out the full truth about the place and the rest of is connections. Cause you might not know but I was granted divine powers of Inquisition and the spell like abilities that go with it. Now on what terms we leave is up to you. I would rather focus on the bigger "Evil" Treats then minor transgressions

Gloin is going for a subtle light intimidation. if you want a skill roll...

"What exactly are you trying to achieve here? You think I'm scarred of you? I own this town! I wield powers you've only heard stories about! Go check the temple, you most likely wont even be able to find it. If you do you certainly wont make it to the inner sanctum. Now leave I must prepare to return to Magnimar for my nephews funeral." he replies Irritated once more.

Human Hp 22/29 AC 23 (+8 Perc; +5 Init; Fort +5, Ref +5, Will +6)

Gloin will bow out of respect for the office and will wait for the others should they have no more questions and be ready to leave

"Our gratitude", (wink)

<Really...no seriously...somehow you are still able to amaze my, nutcase.>

Out of the office:
"No need to misinter...interp...see this from the wrong angle.
I am in no way attracted to that boggie, but sometimes men would be less angry when a female shows some flirts.
Worry not, i'd share a piece of my mind if such action is needed."

Human Hp 22/29 AC 23 (+8 Perc; +5 Init; Fort +5, Ref +5, Will +6)

Once outside

Se how he knew that the inner sanctum is dangerous? that would indicate he has been there before. Anyway lets hurry and find this place, we are running out of time

DM Gloin used his Detect Alignment (Sp) during the short time he was with the mayor (sorry paizo eat that post - during today's offline)

(?)

Wait, the mayor is the Uncle, crimminies, I am so lost. Why did we choose to tell the guy we are trying to prove is in on his nephews murder that we are trying to prove he is in on his nephews murder...

That's what I was saying! lol

F Human [Oracle 5/ Escapee 1] HP: 46/46, AC 16/15/12, CMB +7, CMD 20, Fort +4, Ref +7, Will +5 (+7 vs confusion, insanity & fear), Perception +8, Darkvision 60 feet, Speed 30, Init +5 WoS 47/50 WoCMW 38/50

Technically we never incriminated HIM. As far as he knows, we only heard of a rising evil, nothing about him being involved.

Yes at least you didn't outright say we are here looking to incriminate you

Firebeard glanced at the painting Kirana pointed at without much interest. He was more interested in the conversation, and the cues the mayor was throwing out right and left. If the girls hadn't practically outright accused him, the man might not be so forthcoming with this information. Mebbe they be ont' somethin' after all.

Human Hp 22/29 AC 23 (+8 Perc; +5 Init; Fort +5, Ref +5, Will +6)

since we are thrown out of the office shall we make haste and find this evil place?

(?)

ah, yup, before he can get there and set up our demise would be nice

Since he mentioned the graveyard having a secret entrance you decide to go up there and have a look. The graveyard is old, it even predates the village. Not much stands out except for the mausoleum in the center.

F Human [Oracle 5/ Escapee 1] HP: 46/46, AC 16/15/12, CMB +7, CMD 20, Fort +4, Ref +7, Will +5 (+7 vs confusion, insanity & fear), Perception +8, Darkvision 60 feet, Speed 30, Init +5 WoS 47/50 WoCMW 38/50

"A...greathall of the deceased. Those don't bode well. I've no desire to be nibbled on the neck and receive puncture marks."

<If i wasn't tied to you i'd be free to explore...no wait, i'd even be in heaven....damnit...>

Human Hp 22/29 AC 23 (+8 Perc; +5 Init; Fort +5, Ref +5, Will +6)

Gloin will cast a detect magic and will go around looking for a secret entrance.

inside a mausoleum of a fake tomb that could reveal a secret staircase.

He will be looking for stone that show traces of having been moved of foots or heavy foot tragic to a certain place.

"Aye. Figures it be in th' mausoleum. Damn nasty places most times. Worse when they be th' entry t' a underground citadel o' evil."

It doesn't look like anyone has been here in a long time but searching around you do find a place were it looks like dust has been disturbed. It looks like one of the stone graves can slide to the side. Searching around some more you find a hidden switch and pressing it cause the grave to slide to the side and reveal a stairway down.

Human Hp 22/29 AC 23 (+8 Perc; +5 Init; Fort +5, Ref +5, Will +6)

Huzzah ! Casting a light spell he enters the place and goes down the staircase Good things we dwarves have a good sense of direction underground

I follow Gloin with an arrow at the ready

Lilly casts light on a small rock as well.

More proper to be prepared than dead.

You descend and reach the bottom of the stairs a rusted portcullis blocks the way here. However it doesn't completely reach the floor. You can squeeze under the portcullis with a dc 15 escape artist, it can also be raised all the way with a dc 25 str check.
