Premise: The PCs are everyday folk swept up into high adventure. In the Year of the Prince, Chondath is experiencing the golden age of the Merchant Princes. The PCs are hired by the Merchant Princes to guard their trading costers.

Question: Can the PCs work for a increasingly corrupt trading coster like the Iron Throne?

Tone: Swashbuckling adventure and flair.

The scene you are in is in a market. It's also broad daylight. On one stand you have oranges. On another stand, spices, and chickens and pigs on two other stands. In corrals are horses, ready to be bid on a new owner. Lastly, precious stones and gems are being sold on another cart. Besides the buildings that surround the alley.

The place looks like a place where an intense fight can happen.

The Robbers go first, and their act is to spill the diamonds across the floor, with the crowds bending down to pick them up so that they have about 50% cover from the crowds. A few are looking for an opening so that they can get their chosen enemies. Callanon's transformation into a giant serpent not withstanding, only one robber wanted to get Callanon.

Kain is next.


Kain will guide Valere through the crowd to the closest bandit and thrust at his chest with his spear.

Valere will also attempt to bite the bandits arm

One of the robbers expire with the actions of Gormulk and Callanon. There are four robbers left.

This time, the robber put a burning log down in the middle of the crowd, causing the crowd to clear and disperse. There is a lot of room to maneuver as three robbers disappear into the crowds, one of them taking a prized ruby.

Chessenta was a long way, but it was different than Chondath in several respects. It was time to see those changes upclose. "Come aboard, remember we do have a contract."
