Harmon and Cort have a bow and auto hijab bolter and a lasgun

Male

They won't be trained with bows either

Bookstore Proprietor Librarian Bard

Cort will pass off his lasgun and auto gun

Male

The remaining Storm trooper fires semi-auto on Garion
BS+10 close range+10 aim-10 darkness: 1d100 ⇒ 17
Garion Dodge 33: 1d100 ⇒ 91
Damage 1: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12 Pen 7 to the leg (9 wounds)
Damage 2: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 Pen 7 To the head (7 wounds)
That puts Garion on -3 and re-breaks his leg

There's a snapping noise as the las-rounds hits Garion causing him to drop to the ground with Cormaeg on top of him.

@Cormaeg - Please record your remaining wounds on your character sheet

The sounds of running feet intensifies outside and the squad can see Dominate soldiers rounding the base of the tower. Some of them set up firing positions as others move towards the silo for cover

@Wikvaya & Jermaie - +10 Per roll please

Wikvaya and Jermaie are up

I realise the map is very out of date. I'll try to update it tomorrow as I won't have time tonight

Male Weapon Specialist; Wounds: 1/12

Jermaie nods at Wikvaya, skipping the repartee for the moment, the lust for glory shaken out of him by the grueling and intense fight.

He comes in to try and kill the general, forgetting about his pistol aimed at the two of them.

Standard Attack; Weapon Skill:39+10(ordinary)+5(ganging-up)-20(untrained)=34: 1d100 ⇒ 28

That's one hit now with one degree of success.

Damage; Pen: 5: 1d10 + 5 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 5 + 3 = 11

Perception: 39: 1d100 ⇒ 96

But Jermaie is too preoccupied with his vendetta against the General to notice anything else.

Male

You forgot your +5 for Carno

Scarus Dodge: 1d100 ⇒ 35
The power blade scortches the Generals armour as he narrowly weaves out of the way.

Male

The second las-shot scorches off Garion's ear leaving him deafened until he receives medical aid!

Male Medic [Damage/Wounds 1/13 | Fate 1/1 | Insanity 1 | Initiative +3]

Wikvaya attempts to repeat the same action but it becomes apparent that he is unused to physical combat.

Knock Down Strength Test {40 = 30 strength + 10 charge bonus}: 1d100 ⇒ 99

I'm not sure what the Jermaie's perception check was for, but I'll also roll one just in case.

Perception = {48 = 48 perc}: 1d100 ⇒ 66

Male

@Jermaie - It was because I asked one of the 2 of you

It seems 1d4chan has greatly reduced their max image size so I had to put it on Image Shack
Here
The old key etc can still be found using the old link
Here

Would it be less confusing for you guys if I removed the map from the old page?

Male Weapon Specialist; Wounds: 1/12

It won't affect me too much since I usually keep a link to the map open at all times in a separate tab. It's good to have the key too.

Edit: Woah, that's a lot of dudes coming our way.

Male

Scarus Fires his Bolt pistol once more on 1=Jermaie, 2=Wikvaya: 1d2 ⇒ 1

Male Brawler WS 47, BS 34, S 41, T 52, Ag 32, Int 30, Per 26, WP 38, Fel 39, Wounds 16/16, FP 2/4

Damnit, come on, just one left, more may come, but we need to get rid of this guy first!

Prone does not seem to affect my shooting ability, so I'll assume the same modifiers as before for now.
Singe shot, short range, half action to aim.
Attack (40 +30):
1d100 ⇒ 21

Damage: 2d10 + 5 ⇒ (1, 7) + 5 = 13
Storm: 2d10 + 5 ⇒ (3, 1) + 5 = 9

Male

Factoring in you replacing that 3 for DoS

As the storm trooper readies another shot he is blown backwards into the rock wall of the cave, his arm severely injured and his chest blown open. The man takes short sharp breaths as he slides to the ground.

"We can stay out in the open here" Garion calls to Cormeg, crawling towards where Wikvaya, Jermaie and Carno battle it out with the General, and gesturing the heavy gunner to follow.

Male Brawler WS 47, BS 34, S 41, T 52, Ag 32, Int 30, Per 26, WP 38, Fel 39, Wounds 16/16, FP 2/4

You will finish at the end of this turn

Male Weapon Specialist; Wounds: 1/12

Dodge; Ag:40+10=50: 1d100 ⇒ 20

The fight becoming more and more focused on the general, Jermaie moves deftly out of the way of Scarus's efforts to put a bullet through his brain.

Cort and Harmon prepare to hand out the auto gun and lasgun they have

Male

"What 'bout me 'umie? the rok rattles his cage violently "Lets me out I smash pansies for you!"

@Cort - I'll take it you run up to the cages. Please give me an awareness test. It's sound based

what about you xenos.

The dice gods have certainly not been working in our favor lately.

Iron Guard Iniative: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 Their looking sore and tired

Eirik finally opens the gate and the Guardsmen inside begin to pour out grabbing the autogun and lasgun as they pass. The man who takes the lasgun gets a vague look of recognition on his face, and passes it to another without a word.

Eirik and Cort:
You hear stranged whispered words deeper in the caves. You don't understand the language but there is hissing like a snake

Outside heavy weapons teams set up and the guardsmen with lasguns open fire.

map to follow tonight
Jermaie and Wikvaya are up

Male Weapon Specialist; Wounds: 1/12

Jermaie, again, takes another swipe at the general.

Standard Attack; Weapon Skill:39+10(ordinary)+5(ganging-up)+5(comrade)-20(untrained)=39: 1d100 ⇒ 76

I'm going to cry. Can I cry?

And Jermaie, yet again, fails at swinging a sword at a man standing directly in front of him.

Male Medic [Damage/Wounds 1/13 | Fate 1/1 | Insanity 1 | Initiative +3]

I'll continue with trying to get the General. I don't think they'll try flaming him along with us anyway. Also, I forgot ganging up had bonuses, and then we have Double Team so we get more bonuses! Sadly, mine is a strength test and not a weapon skill so I don't get it. :P Maybe next round.

Wikvaya moves to gain a better position then tries to knock down the general again, coordinating his attack with the others.

Knock Down Strength Test {40 = 30 strength + 10 move bonus}: 1d100 ⇒ 40

Ganging Up:
GANGING UP A character has an advantage when he and his allies engage the same foe in melee combat. If a group of characters outnumber their opponent two to one, their Weapon Skill Tests are Ordinary (+10). If a group of characters outnumber their opponent by three to one or more, their Weapon Skill Tests are Routine (+20).

Double Team:
DOUBLE TEAM The character has experience of fighting in paired teams that work together to take down their enemies. When ganging up on an opponent, the character gains an additional +10 bonus to Weapon Skill Tests. If both the characters that outnumber the enemy have this Talent then both gain an additional +10 bonus, for a total of +20. This bonus is in addition to the normal bonus gained from Ganging Up on an opponent (see page 253).

Map Key

@Wikvaya - the problem with using knock down is his turn is right after yours so he can just get back up again using a half action. Are you sure you don't want to do a normal attack or a stun action? I'll let you keep the same roll this time

Male Medic [Damage/Wounds 1/13 | Fate 1/1 | Insanity 1 | Initiative +3]

There's a stun action? Oh man, I didn't see that. Wikvaya is unarmed, so, let's see. I checked and don't think Jermaie has double team, unfortunately.

Wikvaya lashes out with his arms at the General's head.

Stun Weapon Skill Test {26 = 26 Weapon Skill - 20 modifier + 10 ganging up + 10 double team}

Stun is a bit too difficult. Eh. Perhaps a different course of action next time.

Male

Narrowly avoiding Wikvaya's attack Scarus fires on Jermaie once more
WS+10 aim+10 Single shot: 1d100 ⇒ 85 but he's too busy dodging blows to draw a bead on anyone

Eirik, Cort, Garion and Cormeg

Male

As the Mordians frow out through the open cage, they look to Eirik.
"What now?" questions the Lieutenant

Liberty's Edge

Male Male human Operator/Medic Wounds 11 Fate 1

Well there are Xenos besides this one here in the cave. And troops coming from the fortress. What we really need to do is take down the General and find away out of here. We have a APC we captured parked out there and the commanders personal one is out there. If we can get his keys we can get out of here. Eirik begins working on the lock for the green Xenos.

Bookstore Proprietor Librarian Bard

you sure you want to free that thing?

Cort says but he turns and heads back towards the general now that he passed out the weapons

Liberty's Edge

Male Male human Operator/Medic Wounds 11 Fate 1

He promised to kill them first. I have no doubt he would turn on us if it was just us. But right now we have a common enemy and the more of them he kills before he falls the safer we are.

Male

That moment a spray of fire comes from deeper within the cave one or 2 of the mordians are winged. The ork takes a few xenos rounds in the arm, but simply ignores them.
"To cover, get to cover!" Lieutenant Neefs calls out gesturing to the cover on the opposite side of the cave, and the men break for the other side as quickly as they can.

The Ork Starts shaking the door violantly roaring in impotent rage.

I'll actually roll hits next turn

Cormaeg, spotting the soldier with the flamer imediatly turns his weapon on him
BS 44 +10 Single Shot +10 aim +10 close range: 1d100 ⇒ 20
Dominate Dodge: 1d100 ⇒ 7 He dodges the first round

BS 29 +10 Single Shot +10 aim +10 close range: 1d100 ⇒ 36
Damage: 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Tearing: 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13 Pen 4

Garion's round catches the soldier low in the gut, making him double over and colapse, screaming in pain.

The two men by his side fire upon Garion and Cormaeg
Cormaeg BS Semi-auto + aim + close range - darkness - prone target: 1d100 ⇒ 52
Garion BS Semi-auto + aim + close range - darkness - prone target: 1d100 ⇒ 1

Damage 2: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12

The spray of Lasfire skewers Garion's arm and chest and the Commissar stops moving, slumping to the ground.

BS single shot + aim - darkness - prone target: 2d100 ⇒ (59, 50) = 109

BS single shot + aim - darkness - prone target: 2d100 ⇒ (11, 25) = 36
Garion's body takes another hit to the chest, but it does not react at all.
Damage on Cormaeg: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10 Dodge?

heavy stubbers - full auto - darkness - prone target: 2d100 ⇒ (73, 75) = 148
2 heavy stubbers open fire from the fire teams but they are extremely inacurate, simply spraying the back of the cave.

Male Weapon Specialist; Wounds: 1/12

Aaaaaand the brave commissar finally bites it. Sad turn of events considering how pinned down we are.

We're now up, correct?

Jermaie, headless of the sorry events transpiring around him, focuses all his attention on the general, wishing nothing less than to remove his sorry skull from his soon-to-be corpse of a body.

Jermaie screams in rage and frustration as he lashes out again with the general's sword.

All out attack; Weapon Skill:39+30(all-out)+5(ganging-up)-20(untrained)=54: 1d100 ⇒ 15

Finally a hit! That's four degrees of success.

Damage; Pen 5: 1d10 + 5 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 5 + 3 = 9

I can replace the 1 with a 4 for my degrees of success so the total damage is:

12 damage; Pen=5

Male

You're not tecnically pinned, but you really don't want to leave the cave!

Sorry, yes. Jermaie and Wikivaya are up now

Scarus Dodge: 1d100 ⇒ 81
I'll have to look up his crit damage tonight but he's at -9, he won't be fighting any more

Male

Jermaie buries the power sword deeply in Scarus's chest, super-heating his internal organs and setting his cloths alight. He drops to the ground a blackened corpse.

Male Medic [Damage/Wounds 1/13 | Fate 1/1 | Insanity 1 | Initiative +3]

Wikvaya closed his eyes for a moment of calm. He had hoped they could take the general hostage for a chance to gain a better position but at least they've accomplished their mission, for what good that will do them.

He inspects the corpse of the general one last time to be sure of his death and then quickly peeks outside to scout the situation.

Awareness {48 = Perception 48}: 1d100 ⇒ 78

Wikvaya will try to get a read of the situation and spot where the others have gone.

Liberty's Edge

search the corpse somebody..... he might have a keyboard for that tank.... and grab his pistol too...

Male Medic [Damage/Wounds 1/13 | Fate 1/1 | Insanity 1 | Initiative +3]

...Wikvaya should have thought of that. Man, I've been slow lately. Well, uh, that would be something Wikvaya would ideally do. Though that does remind me that Cormaeg took Wikvaya's weapon so he has none at the moment.

Liberty's Edge

Male Male human Operator/Medic Wounds 11 Fate 1

Well you inspected the body but never walked away from it....

Male

Cormaeg Dodge target 45: 1d100 ⇒ 30

I'll take searching the general to be part of wikvaya's looking over him
Wikvaya finds a the bolt pistol with 4 rounds left in it and 2 spare clips, 2 seporate key cards, a small retangualr box that was clipped to the man's belt, his microbeed and ident chips.

Looking around wikvaya notices Garion on the ground in a growing pool of blood, not moving, Cormaeg struggling to crawl from the open. In the enterance there are 2 domanate soldiers with lasguns firing in and there are many more further out. A dominate soldier is wailing in pain but you cannot tell where he is.

Male

It's Cormaeg's turn, but he should be back on the 18th so I'll let him delay until then

"This way! There's a tunnel that the General uses" Lieutenant called out. The other Mordians rush to cover.
"Come on Guardsman, we need your lamp-pack" he calls to Eirik.

Semi-auto Iron Guard: 2d100 ⇒ (30, 34) = 64 2 of the Mordians are cut down as they are just about to make it into cover.

MOVE YOUR ASSETS MEN. GET INTO THE TUNNEL NOW. WIK GRAB SOMETHING OFF HIS CORPSE AND GET BACK HERE NOW.

How long would it take to free the Ork? And would shooting the lock work? Will take actions once I have an answer.

Male

This lock will take the rest of this turn and a tech use test. If you do enough damage with an explosive weapon (like a boltgun) it will open it. It will be a plane +30 to hit it (size and range cancel themselves out) plus modifiers for fire type and aim if you add them

Wiki can gab any or all of what I described as part of his search action

Liberty's Edge

Male Male human Operator/Medic Wounds 11 Fate 1

1d100 ⇒ 14goal 32+30=62 so five degrees or four? 2d10 + 4 ⇒ (3, 3) + 4 = 10 either way sub out the degrees for dmg if its greater.

Growls in frustration and shoots the lock. He prays to the Emperor it works and that he approves of us in xenos to kill Xenos and heretics. Sorry whatever you are this is all I have time to do.... good luck. Moves towards the cave.

Male

And +10 for single shot so that's 6 DoS. Also damage on a bolt gun is 1d10+5 pen 4. Also also you have a half action left

The bolt round blows the lock to chunks, spraying the orc in metal. Something akin to a manic smile comes across the creature's face ant it let's out a bestial roar!
