Based in Golarion, players will take on the role of Azlanti pure bloods who are part of an orginization known as The Harbingers. They set off attempting to rewrite history and bring forth the Age of Glory.
Ya on the weekends I do at home care for an elderly gentleman for about 16 hours so my postings will be a bit erratic these days.
Roll initatives if havnt, I forgot all about them. It is early dusk(5-6pm) your powers will work Akor.I will roll the initatives for you guys next time wil make it faster.
A Gnoll(6) from the Roof throws a Javalin at Trigg
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14 vs Flat Foot since have not had initative yet
1d4 + 3d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + (1, 2, 5) + 2 = 12 Damage
Jazismus notices the gnolls on the roof and summons one of his new spells to attack them at a distance. The spell cast he draws his own weapon to help defend himself.
A glowing longsword appears in the air near a savage gnoll #1 and slices at the surprised dog-man.
Akor does spot the Gnolls right? and he knows that they are actually Gnolls? It matters for Bane and Favored Judgement.(this is an in character question).Since they are Gnolls, his AC goes up by +1, total AC 19, including +1 from Haste
Yes these are clearly Gnolls, not the mutant ones from befor, nor are they the ones associated with Alkenstar.
Xara and Xideus, you do not have the sickend condition, the poison just had not taken effect yet it will next round Then you will know what will happen.
I will wait for Akor befor posting another attack from the Gnolls since he might thin one out for you.
Spoting his hated enemies, Akor seeks to take one down before it has a chance to harm his friends any further "By the fury of the Savored Sting, I smite thee!!" Swift Action to activate Bane(gnolls). Also going to use Judgement Surge, so I'm treated as 3 levels higher for my Judgements. No effect right now, but might be if I swtich in later rounds. 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (19) + 12 = 31 Normal attack for 1d8 + 5 + 2d6 ⇒ (6) + 5 + (1, 5) = 17
Akor kills Gnoll 2 with two damaging arrow attacks.
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11 attack vs Akor from Gnoll 4
probably missed
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16 Atack vs Jaszimus from Gnoll 1
might have hit 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19 Attack vs Trigg from Gnoll 3
might have hit 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Xideus is next then next round
Xideus Delorne(Male Human (Azlanti Pure-Blood) Magus (Blade Bound, Kensai) 5)
Xideus begins to speak in an arcane language. Suddenly 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 identical images of the magus appear and begin to climb the wall towards the roof alongside the real Xideus.
Climb: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
Standard to cast mirror image. Move action to begin climbing up the wall towards the roof.
Elementals have an AC of 17, 17 hp, and FRW saves of 6/6/0. They have been Augmented with her feat so +4 to Strength and Constitution. Also, land-based creatures suffer -1 penalties to attack and damage.
Akor sets his sights on another of his chosen foes. This time however he channels his goddess' might into granting him a keener abiliy to land a hit .Swift action to switch Judgement to Justice1d20 + 14 ⇒ (8) + 14 = 22 for 1d8 + 5 + 2d6 ⇒ (1) + 5 + (6, 3) = 15
Have we lost Nimon? He hasn't posted since Monday. Hope all is ok
Herani Reagald(Female Human(Azlanti Pure Blood) Wizard(Metal Elementalist)/2 - Cleric/3)
Wondering the same thing, this has been real quiet - although I have several campaigns in a lull right now and one which has had almost 100 posts in the last 24 hours.
Herani Reagald(Female Human(Azlanti Pure Blood) Wizard(Metal Elementalist)/2 - Cleric/3)
Keeping thread active post - Nimon hope you are ok.
Sorry about my abrupt absence. I am going through a divorce with my wife and am currently without computer and internet, I am at my sisters currently sending this message. I am really sorry I enjoyed playing with you all. This will give me time to refine my pencil and paper version and hopefully it will reflect on my future pbp games.
Not to sound cheesy, but I was kinda hopin we would hear from you as a sort of Christmas gift. Glad to know you're doin ok-ish. Sorry to hear about the divorce however. Hope its not too painful.
I also think that come a few months, if you get everything in order, we'd all be willing to play again. If not, then at least we had a damn good time together.
Personally, allow me to thank you: This game has given me a new favorite class, as I now love the Inquisitor. Were it not for this game, perhaps I would have never tried it out.
Be well Nimon, and if you can eventually come back, let us know. I for one have this game bookmarked on both my laptop and smartphone, so I'll check in every now and again. As I said, if you can't or don't want to come back, thank you for the fun we've had.
Dave, aka Monkeygod, aka Akor Scourgebane.
Xideus Delorne(Male Human (Azlanti Pure-Blood) Magus (Blade Bound, Kensai) 5)
Nimon, I thoroughly enjoyed this game. As intense as it was at times, being without magic and fighting evil gnomes, it all turned out well and fantastically enjoyable. Thank you for returning to let us know what had happened. I am sorry to hear that it wasn't the best of news. I wish you well and I hope things work out for the best. Good luck to you and your future games! Let me know if you ever need a player on these forums. I'd be ecstatic to join any of your campaigns!
Herani Reagald(Female Human(Azlanti Pure Blood) Wizard(Metal Elementalist)/2 - Cleric/3)
Likewise - we have been slowly keeping this thread pseudo-active because it was a very creative and interesting campaign. I am sure that several of us, and perhaps all of us will be willing to restart when you get things worked out. Until then, good luck.
Xideus Delorne(Male Human (Azlanti Pure-Blood) Magus (Blade Bound, Kensai) 5)
Gnomes? I mean gnolls. Lol... Must have been a Freudian slip against Tirion =P
Belros Verzar(Male Human (Azlanti Pure Blood) Fighter (Mobile) 1/ Monk 3(Martial Artist))
Good luck with that mate, and happy holidays!
Herani said most of what I wanted to say anyway xD so I'm stuck with the lame one liner at above hahahaha.
I hope things do eventually resume, but I totally understand if they do not. My above post was more to let you know we're here for you, if you can take us back one day. But if you can't than thank you again for the great game. While this was running, it was definitely one of my top favorite PbPs, so you did a great job!!
