Yeah I figured I missed the surprise round (wasn't even in the game when that roll was made) and I am so far down the initiative order I am going to have to wait to see what happens before me to make any decent post.

It happens. In my other campaign, when I channel positive energy, I cannot get anything higher than a 2. It drives me nuts.

Meanwhile, I would like to get this combat done today, so I am not racing around to catch up on Friday since I have work and IRL gaming. So if you want you are more than welcome to post early for the round so long as you do so in a spoiler tag.

So, all XP and GP rewards will be given in the Discussion page to keep gameplay moving.

Speaking of which, it's time to chat about XP.. As we are in Fast XP track you are all currently starting at 1,300XP as you are all 2nd levels. Here are your goals for the next three levels.

3rd: 3,300
4th: 6,000
5th: 10,000

For completing your battle with the Tengus, and attempting to parlay with Oridine, all party members receive the following:

600 XP--with the exception of Nigani who receives 500XP for not being able to take part in the combat.

You also find 200gp, 3 daggers, 3 falchions, 3 shortbows with 20 arrows each, 3 medium leather armors and a cloak of Resistance +1. To be divided up here as you see fit. Well done on a good and quick first battle. Let's hope all the future battles are just as fast!

Thanks guys. Glad to be here and I am already enjoying the RP with all of you and the world our GM is creating for us.

So now to the important stuff, dividing up the treasure. :) Not much there that Nikolos can use besides an extra dagger. I can not use armor and am only proficient in simple weapons besides my whip.

Also who has the lowest saves? I am carrying a pretty decent 4/4/3 right now. Probably who ever has the lowest needs the cloak to help keep them alive.

Rocking a 3/6/4 at the moment. I have no real need of the daggers, and I'm not so sure I need a shortbow...

Ive got a 5/1/2 right now. I do not need the bows or daggers.

Can definitely make use of a dagger, seems we are very much a finesse unit except for our resident hammer fighter.

As for saves, I'm stuck at 0, 7, 0

As for weapons, Nagini already carries 3 daggers and a light crossbow and wears light armor.

So I vote for Nigani to get the cloak of resistance cause while that 7 for reflex is nice, those 0's in the other saves just suck. Don't want to see our rogue being turned against us because of a failed will save :)

I will take 1 dagger so I have a back up if no one minds.

Split the 200 gp evenly amongst us? Any thought of starting a party purse for buying things like healing wands and such?

By the way oh great and lovely GM, wasn't there suppose to be a second new player besides me? Did he/she never show? Is this our final group?

I'm fine with splitting the cash. I've honestly not ever played a bard or a magus, and now I'm playing both. So, if folks have any ideas what I should buy.....

EDIT: I'm also fine with a party purse so we can get some really fun stuff early ;)

Im up for a party purse. Fun things are also a plus and yes wands are costly. On those I feel the party should split the cost.

I was unable to secure a second. As of now I think the party is doing well. But if I see serious struggling I will add as needed.

Got a friend who would happily tap in as an extra party member as needed. Say the word, and he'll be on it.

Winston has no need for the cloak, he tries to stay out of the way as much as possible anyway, and he wouldn't accept such a valuable item when there are needier, more useful, and prettier party members in need :P

I'm down with a party treasury, but I haven't got the time to manage something like that... anyone want to volunteer? Otherwise, I'd suggest we just sell the equipment (except whatever anyone wants to hold onto), and split the cash up between everyone.

I can handle being the party treasurer. I've got nothing but time these days, so I am good for it.

How do we want to handle a party treasury? Everything goes in it? Or just a percentage? One game I played in the past we put in something like 10%-20% off the top into the party treasury and then split the remainder amongst the party members. That way everyone had their own gold to get personal items but we also slowly built up a party treasury to cover party expenses like healing and such.

Sorry to all for my late answers and postings, it's been a little crazy this week, but since we're moving into my regular school/work/gaming rotation, things should be working itself out this week.

To answer Winston: Whatever you don't take, I convert back into gold and add it to the party purse. This is only for the items, if you find loose gold, that's up to you guys to do with what you will.

After dividing up what you didn't want an additional 318gp will be added to the party purse. (Or what I've known to end up calling it as the resurrection fund.)

At last, a decent roll!

Also, just as a note, the party purse currently stands at 368 GP. Enough for a few scrolls or potions. Half way to a first level wand.

You guys sure you wanna get rid of the trapspringer gloves?

They seem pretty cool to me, tbh. I know Kalynn doesn't have Disable Device, but the bonus to saves vs. traps is nice. Nigani could probably get some good use out of them, or anyone else who might be disarming traps.

I think we'll be doing our trap disarming the old fashioned way....with Nikolos's face.

Nigani thinks they are too ugly to be seen with, but they could be useful. Keep in mind though that we'll need Nikolos' face for magic traps as Nigani can't disarm those (she doesn't have Trapfinding)

So here's to surviving a traptastic setting with a non trapfinding rogue. Should stock up on healing/antivenom.

Okay, well since no one is objecting or claiming the gloves, they will go on the pile.

As a side note, if anyone in the party can clear a DC 15 diplomacy check, Lenarial will dole out a bit of her backstory.

I know that Lenarial, but please keep in mind that these nice gentlemen have work to do. They didn't say no, they just said to ask again when they set sail. There is a difference between a cock-block and a "ask again later and let the rest of the party post stuff"
