I actually already made a post in the Bloody Knives recruitment thread. It looks like the perfect game to revive a character from a recently dead game.

Pondering the idea of a level 2 rogue / level 1 cleric of Calistria concept. Might apply with that later if I can work it up decent.

Lou is a pawn in my schemes .. but how would you prefer?

I do not have an alias for Lou but I did submit him in a couple of Jade regent game recruitments (never got in).

anyway he is level 1 with a +8 craft (painting/drawing) skill check

(+1 rank, +3 class skill, +2 tools, +2 Ability = +8).

for purposes of this game assume he is a level 1 expert NPC

Lou is a guy and so is my dwarf Klor, and I just submitted Father Nick in a Kingmaker game (Blind Oracle of Life).

also have 2 male PFS characters, and the one character I never used was Kalim (he is male). as is Dorian.

so percent wise I am mostly male characters.

All of a sudden I feel sorry for Darius. :)

I've never been able to play guys. Always just stick with females.

Zell, are you really a female though? I can usually only play males as I am also male. Gender is sometimes hard to play for the opposite side.

Yeah, really female. It's hard for me to stay in character if I play a guy and I second guess my actions trying to figure out if that's something a guy would actually say.

As a guy the only female characters I can manage to pull off are Tomboys and Icequeens (and typical Gnomes for some reason). Both give lots of room to manoeuvre but simply put, the more feminine, the more problems I have pulling it off in a way I actually like (and that's actually successful.

Zell and I are in two Skull and Shackles games together, and I am playing the polar opposite characters. We got Mr. Serious the Gunslinger (Aldon Longstrider) and Ankle-Biter the Goblin Alchemist (Havok Fingerburst)

At least you don't have to worry about me chasing after your goblin. :)

So the brooding Andoran marine is just your type then? If he is, I think you have competition with Sandara

youngest is 15 (almost 16) oldest is 21

the only pics I have of family are on my Facebook page. (at least the digital ones. the rest are good old fashion film photos.

I'm actually female as well as playing female -- I generally find it easier to RP authentically if I stay same-gender.

And this is my only game at the moment. I figure keeping up with one consistently is about all I'm up for...

Bah, Alliance babies are cuter. :P

I find I'm much the same, Zel, in that I can only play guy characters. I've WRITTEN females, but unless I'm NPCing them I don't like being female for any length of time, and I find I'm not bold enough to ham it up as I would with a male character. None of my female characters have ever seen play.

Been meaning to try it in play-by-post... but... meh.

There is no rush on this campaign btw, I will allow everyone to catch up and still trying to make as many posts as I can to keep it interesting for everyone.

Yeah, that's good. Sorry if I hold things up in the next week or two, I've bitten off a good chunk of work at the start of the sem to free up some gaming time at the end. I'm hoping to start a runelords game of my own... And yikes, I thought I'd posted! Apparently not. Which is a bit of an embuggerance because it means the uni computers ate my post. I'll... When I read the song, this is the tune I was more or less hearing.

Discovered that last year, Darius. It's great! My girlfriend's had me reading the hobbit aloud to her over the past few months and it's been a good laugh stealing all the songs from the 80s cartoon. (And trying to find a a way to squeeze "when there's a whip there's a way" in. :P)

I had a lot of trouble with paizo.com being down yesterday. It seems to be doing better this morning, so far...

I'm so so, I'm at work, which is boring, but I'm also excited to get home. Just decided to run an adventure path for a group at my local gaming store, and I choose Way of the Wicked. If you don't know what it is, prepare to be mind blown!

I really want to try that one.

Things are rather quiet where I'm at now. One child is napping, the other quietly watching his Land Before Time dvd. I may go look for something to watch on netflix. I have no idea what Way of the Wicked is. I don't get out for gaming much anymore, kinda why I PbP.

Though whenever I do have time for it again, I totally want to start up a tabletop 7th Sea Game. Or make my husband restart his Pendragon game. Maybe both. :)
