The guardsman leads you to the Watch Captain who examines the orb closely. "It appears to be some kind of spy construct. Speech is stored inside this small gem and can be played back on command. It's quite an interesting device. Where'd you get it?"
"It got us would be more accurate." Märche chimes to the captain while spinning his pointer finger in a counterclockwise motion.
Ezzy giggled at her brothers comment. "Quite so. That brings up the second part. This flyer. The wanted poster. Can you tell us more about this?" She takes back the spy globe and pokes at it, trying to get it to record "TESTING"
"I keep telling her it might respond better to some percussive maintenance but she won't let me touch the thing." he halfheartedly says as eyes the device warily.
Ezzy shoots her brother a glance.
"We're offering a substantial reward for information leading to the arrest of the Art Gallery Murderer. As for the device, the gem's color indicates that it's storing something. Do you have any more information about it?"
"It's really, really, annoying." Märche muses as his eyes bore daggers through the sphere.
Ezzy frowned. "No it isn't! It is beautiful!" She stroked the little orb gently, like it was a cat.
Ezzy then returned her attention back to the guard.
"Well, I came to you to see what it even is. I don't have anymore information. Do you have any information you could give us to help us get more information about the murders?"
