Could also do invites instead of rerecruit

Or. We could not do any of that. Story time!
To cut a long story short, my parents recently divorced, I had to pick a side, and I was without internet for quite some time because one of my parents wrecked my computer because it was "All I cared about."
It's been a hell of a month gentlemen, but, I believe I'm back. I sincerely apologize for the wait. It'll take me a... bit... to get through those 65 new posts though.

Making a posting in all games I'm running and playing in.
For those who have noticed that the last 3-4 weeks I've been spotty and somewhat irritable, I apologize. There's a lot of work things going on, and also some RL things going on. As of this morning, the surgeons confirmed my wife needs a fairly serious operation, which is now scheduled for the end of the month.
I will continue to be here, but, especially toward the end of May, I'm likely to be very very spotty and cranky. Sorry in advance. Please bear with me.
If things get to the point where I need to place things on hold, I'll let you know, but I don't think it'll get there (assuming nothing bad happens).

Note that from this evening through until the end of the week, I am taking a family holiday – there is, by all accounts, internet access in the apartment that we are staying in however I am not 100% certain that I will be able to manage daily posting whilst we are away (we shall see but don’t be surprised / alarmed if I make less frequent posts).

Post in all games :
Wife's surgery got moved back a day (scheduling issues in OR). Surgery was completed last night, went smoothly, doctor very pleased with himself. :) Wife awake and says even with the pain from the surgery it's a night and day difference in how she felt before, so good news on that front. I'm afraid I'll be busy again today, but hopefully will be able to get all games caught up and going again by end of week.

I think we need to talk about healing. It appears we have two divine casters neither of which can heal? Or did we use up all the healing? Also, I believe it's been over a month since we had a post from Graham. Given the power level of the enemies put in via the AP, I think we need to do a recruitment to replace Graham. Or ask people we know if they want to join...
GM Zed |
I am all for writing Graham out now – things obviously didn’t get any better for him IRL…
My preference is that you folks level up to Level 2, I don’t think that a retreat / rest is too much of a stretch of credulity right now… Snipe won’t be chasing you.
I’d rather not do a recruitment as, given that you have found the BBEG and this is a ‘one-shot’, they wouldn’t be around for long…
…however, I really like your characters so I am considering what happens when we finish here… you could scour the rest of the Ossuary but that might not be too satisfying or we could look at other adventures (if you wanted to)…
Some options being…
Carrion Hill (lvl 5),
From Shore to Sea (lvl 6),
The Midnight Mirror (lvl 4)
…we would totally recruit another player (or two) if we did any of those…
Taicho Blackfeather |
if we get Taicho awake the can cast cure light wounds a couple of times, if we do 2nd level might not hurt to go cleric instead, if he stays warpriest he'll pick up another spell.
Or we could give each of Taicho's voices/personalities there own class and level :) Keep one a warpriest, one a cleric, one an oracle and one an inquisitor. what is that like 10 first level spells and 30 HP. hey, it could happen. Its like 'angels in the outfield,' we would call it 'crows in the basement'
on a serious note I'm good to play any of those, Taicho was an experiment for me, both the warpriest and the natural attack angle.

I think Tik has one spell left, which would get Taicho up.

I'm totally on board for further adventures! I'd be happy to play in any of those, as they've all been on my radar (I have a thing for horrah modules, obviously). I also think opening a recruitment once we finish this one is a great idea.
As for poor Graham, I fear we must consider him lost. If we level up, we can probably heal up and go in for another round with Tripe/Snipe/Uglyfella. I could pick up a healing spell in that case, methinks.

So, 5 HP to Taicho, then we find out poor Graham didn't make it I assume.
Then level up. I doubt that Graham has any equipment we could use anyway, so we don't have to feel like ghouls debating whether to salvage his equipment.
How are we doing hit dice? Rolling? Average? Max?
Leveling up is easy :
FC +1HP
Skills +1 Acrobatics, +1 Disable Device, +1 Perception, +1 Spellcraft, +1 UMD, +1 Kn(Arcana)
Cantrip Learned : Disrupt Undead
+1 Will Save

Haven't played any of them, and fine with playing on. I don't do a lot of modules except via PBP.

As I usually suggest, I'd recruit us up to 5 or 6. That way, if you loose one or two people, we don't have to re-recruit.

Alright gentlemen, story time. About a day after I claimed that I'd be coming back, my father decided to pay me yet another visit in yet another foul mood. I'll spare you the details, but I moved to Richmond. Now that that's out of the way, I've finally returned. I also made it a point to finish reading the gameplay thread only to learn that it was ended, to my shame and dismay.
Needless to say I would absolutely adore a game with you guys yet again. I know my posting rate was the reason for this one's death, and that I'm probably not a good candidate, but, with my move, stable job, and new location with very little stress and lack of college to get in the way, I think I'm officially set.
I can understand, however, if you'd prefer I go through the recruitment thread normally.

Game's not over yet. And wasn't you. We found the big bad and are leveling up to lvl 2 over the holiday weekend
Sorry to hear about bad stuff. Glad it's clearing up. Welcome back. Now level up...
