Hans shrugs, before answering simply:
"The place was absolutely infested with the undead. Fortunately, we were able to destroy them. There was also a crazed alchemist, who was animating some (but not all) of the undead, through science (Alchemy), rather than magic. We put an end to him, and his experiments. The place should be ready for you to move into, with a little spring-cleaning..."

Alexos nods as Hans describes the adventure.
"The ruins are mostly dating to the ancient era of Thassilon. Lots of iconography and magic tied to their empire. That said, there is a lot of iconography of Pharasma as well, including some older forms and symbles. Here, take a look."
Alexos hands her his journal, as well as the mapmaker.
"I will be needing those back for submission to the Society, but I am more than happy to make copies of them, including a more permanent map, for no charge if you wish them."
Alexos looks reflective for a minute, then adds, "Oh, and be careful around that pit toward the back... a rather large undead creature popped out of it as we were leaving the chamber. No idea exactly where it came from or how deep that pit actually goes, but it definately looked formidible. Bring lots of firepower if you actually venture back there."

Ting looks around confused, flustered by all the priests.
just tryin ta do’s me parts wroight
Alexos Virden |
Alexos places a hand on Ting's shoulder.
"My friend here means Hans when he refers to the 'bisector'. Examine a few of the corpses and you will know why. The lady he is referring to is in the back of the chambers by that pit. No idea why it was so well preserved, no doubt due to some magics of the Rune Lords, but I somehow doubt it will be that well preserved when you get there."
Alexos smiles, and when he feels Ting beginning to object he applies firm pressure to his shoulder.
"All the undead we found are dealt with, with the exception of that behemouth I mentioned."
Bluff: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Wow... very cool roll... it is to convince the priestess that all is well and not to inquire further about "undead ladies".

Sorry, I owe you a conclusion.
"Infested with undead and tentacle things you say. That sounds disgusting. But I'm glad you were able to deal with them and you are back in safety. Maybe it's better to seal the doors to the pit if it is still too dangerous there. And if you can make a copy of your maps we would be more than happy. Thassilon sounds very interesting, I'm really curious about what lies down there." the priest says while he leads you back to nicer rooms. He hands everybody of you a pouch with gold pieces, he asks you to leave the Thassilonian artifacts, the rest is yours to take back to the Society. The priest offers you to spend the night in the cathedral before you travel back to Absalom.

"Here are the ones we found that are related to Pharasma. There are a few that are purely related to the Runelords that we are taking back to the society. Tonight I will copy the map for your records before setting off to Absalom in the morning. We appreciate your hospitality."
