Ronk would have stopped at the first statement but now I do not want him too. I knew you couldn't resist all this Ronky Goodness.

At Twitchy's first cry Ronk slows down and begins to realize he has lost the massive Legs. At the second shout Ronk slams to a stop and while still carrying momentum he tumbles though the muck. It takes him a few seconds to right himself and then he charges Twitchy, covered in muck.

Quickly decide if you want to be jumped by a muck covered Ronk.

And Ronk jumps into Twitchy's arms. They tumble onto the ground. Panting Ronk says Ronk loves Twitchy too! And her hat! He offers he a big toothy smile.

Ronks eyes widen at Twitchy's words and when he opens his mouth to speak a bit of mud slides into his mouth. Ronk lets out a very dignified Whhaaa! and he pulls his Monster Mask off and stares at it with a look of pure horror. He lets out a long whine Nnnoooo! Our Mask is muddy and not scary!

Twitchy smiles at Flamefinger's offer to take watch for Medge, and then watches Ronk as he goes off to wash both their hats. He loves me. He really does.

Happily, she tucks her robes around her, and curls up, kitten-style, with Fluffer and the other goblins for warmth before falling asleep.

I keep finding goblin "nests" in other adventure scenarios, where the goblins all curled up and slept together, so I don't think it's that far off to assume that they might do so away from the shelters of Licktoad Village.

After the Hat of Twitchy Boom Boom and the now scary Monster Mask are clean to Ronks surprisingly high
standards he hangs them on a bush next to the sleeping group of Goblins. Picking up his bonking stick
and swinging it to rest on his shoulders Ronk begins his watch. His night is dark and full of terrors!
And by that I mean he thinks a lot on far more deep thoughts than normal. Mostly about Twitchy Boom Boom.

After a while of watching the darkness Ronks mind drifts to the new development in his life and he begins to sing.
We've been awake for a while now

In the morning, Twitchy wakes to the sun and Fluffer's slight nip. She doesn't want to wake though because she feels cozy and safe. Two large warm arms are wrapped around her, and she can feel Ronk's furry monster mask pressed against her cheek.

To the side, she can see Gurp pulling slugs out of his bag, and surveying them proudly like a general assembling his troops. We all got find ways to amuse ourselves on watch, Twitchy thinks sleepily.

Wait a minute... Ronk never woke me up for my watch!

She feels a moment's indignation, that suddenly turns to tenderness when she realizes that Ronk must have stood both his watch and hers. Silly barbarian, she thinks as snuggles further into his arms, not wanting to wake him yet.

RPG Superstar 2013 Top 8

After the spider withdraws, you come across the remains of another victim. A tattered satchel holds two potions and 4 sling bullets which Flamefinger identifies as magical.

You find a safe refuge and the night passes without further threats. You awake feeling rested the next day, smelling the ocean salt on the breeze. The map leads to an old shipwreck in some tidal flats where you can hear the ocean waves in the far distance. It must have washed up in some storm. It is a two masted vessel with faded writing on its bow and looks to have been here many years. The ship is covered in trailing vines and leans at a slight angle. The railings are decorated with small skulls. The whole ship is surrounded by a muddy fenced-in area 200 feet across. There is a steep gangplank leading up to the deck.

"Those are Goblin skulls. I think we just reached the lair of Vorka the cannibal." Twitchy whispers to the others, looking slightly nauseated. "Keep your eyes and ears open, and keep quiet. We want to find her before she finds us."

Looking at the mud, Twitchy says, "Do you want me to fly in to get a rope or a vine across so that we don't have to walk through the front door? This is a ship, right? Gotta be rope somewhere."

Unfortunately, Twitchy is so morbidly fascinated with the goblin skulls that she's not noticing anything else.

You don't see a horse but the pasture surrounds the ship so it could be behind it. As you study the ship, you see that the vines hanging it from it could probably be scaled easily. The gangplank also provides access but there seems to be a large hornet's nest hanging from it.

As Medge holds the sword aloft, you hear the squish of hooves in the muck. A black horse, huge and terrifying, gallops around the ship. It pauses for a moment, rearing up on two legs, as the morning sun breaks through the clouds behind it, bathing it in a fiery nimbus. It gives an fearsome whinny, snorting out plumes that look like smoke in the cool morning air. Then it gallops toward the fence and leaps over, landing right in the midst of the goblins.

DC 12 fear save or frightened for one round.

As part of her glorious Ride check, Twitchy pulls herself up by the demon horse's mane on to the horse's back and spurs him into a double move across the muddy pasture. Her goal: to circle the horse back to ride past her friends and give them attacks of opportunity.

"Demon Horse has hurt my Ronk;
Demon Horse hurt Squishy too;
Now Demon Horse will face the bonk
When Ronk bonks this horse to glue!"

"And then will slice my fierce Medge;
Brave and and sharp and sneaky too
She'll give him her dog-slicers edge

Medge gets ready to pounce as Twitchy steers the horse back her way. She pulls on her luck and waits for the right moment to attack"GGRRAAAAHHHH!" Right when the horse comes by she lets loose a warcry and lunges!

Crit?!?!: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18

Twitchy pulls herself up on the horse and through a combination of kicking, pinching, and biting, manages to make the horse whirl around a circle, giving the other goblins a chance to strike at it. Medge raises the Gorge of Gluttons and expertly spears it right through the ribcage, causing it to collapse in a heap with a spurt of blood. The horse shudders and breathes no more.

The gangplank provides access to the ship, but has a large hornet's nest. There are plenty of creeping vines that would also provide a way to climb up. From the deck, you can hear the barking of two dogs.

Twitchy leaps off the dead horse and pulls out the potions that we got off the dead human. As an alchemist, she can ID them by touch.

I already rolled spellcraft for this on the prior page, but never heard what they were.

Assuming one of them is a cure light wounds, she passes that potion to Ronk. If there is a second one, she waits to see how the first did with Ronk. If he's not mostly healed from the first, she gives him the second too.

If the first one heals him well enough, the second potion should go to Squishy.

"We need you in good fighting shape!"

And while we're at it, what are the other potions?

Eyeing the hornet's nest suspiciously, she remembers what she knows of hornets and what their nests usually weigh.

Knowledge Nature: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

She scratches her head, then shrugs, realizing that she already knows all she needs to know. "They bite, they're nasty and they're Vorka's greeting for us. We don't want to go that way, but that's the only way Squishy can go."

She eyes Gurp. "Can Squishy stay behind, so that I can get all the rest of you up a harmless ladder?" She twirls her robe, to show where the ladder would be coming from. "Or do you want me to come up with one of my special plans and take out that nest?"

She pauses and looks up at it. "They look like bees, but I don't know much about hornets. Can we handle them like we did the bees, with lotsa smoke?'

Roll Knowledge Nature, Gurp! Do better than Twitchy did, please!

To Medge she says, "Vorka knows we're here. I'm going to take to the skies, and see where those nasty dogs are, and whatever other nasty surprises she may have for us." She tosses Medge the robe, in case the party needs the ladder off it.

Twitchy climbs on Fluffer and takes off. She looks around for both the dogs, and for pine trees with dead branches she can use to smoke a hive if Gurp wants to bring his slug...

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

...but is still so full of adrenaline from her demon horse ride that she truly is Twitchy today, and has trouble focusing.

She also wonders if it's possible to drop the hornet's nest on the dogs that she hears barking...

I think I mentioned the potions in the comment thread, but you have:

Bull's Strength
Mage Armor
Cure Light Wounds

The nest is small enough to grab. Twitchy could try and grab it and drop it on the dogs. It would take a DC 25 Handle Animal ("push") and you would both be subject to one round of swarm damage, then you could drop it.

Gurp figures you could smoke them into sleepiness.
