I liked this one, but we lost half the players to real life at a time when I was heroically busy. It counts as an honourable failure on the roster - and the only game I've ever deliberately put on hiatus.

Alas, this is how it has to be." Andrus says to S2, right before he blasts him with a lance of faith. "Kel, finish him off."
Andrus's tone is stern as he confronts the now frankly terrified crowman. He punctuates his comments on the merits of neighbourlyness with a bolt of divine light, leaving it even more vulnerable.
"At least we won't be living next to you trigger-happy morons," it croaks bitterly.
Kel, if you want to use your readied action rolls for your next attack, that is fine.

Urlag fells the last tribal and the sneak moves past Andrus and out along the corridor. As it enters the wine cellar and the mushroom colony, you hear a final, strangled croak, presumably caused by its death at the spores of the myconid sovereign.
From behind the stone plates, the specters emerge once more, psychic power oozing from them as they try to knock the companions over.

"Andrus, it's the principle of the thi-" Zareth begins to respond before being knocked to the ground by the wraith's assault. "We'll be ready for them, you say? Why do I even listen to you?" Zareth yells back as the wraith begins to burn with hellfire.
I love the errata'd version of Infernal Wrath. 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 Fire damage to Sp1. EDIT: Uh, that would of happened before Tenja killed it. Would my attack of killed it first, letting Tenja attack something else?
Andrus gets up and looks at the remaining spirits. "Well, look who decided to join the party. You should have stayed hidden, spirits, now you will burn with HOLY fire." Then he looks at Zareth chagrined. "O.K. I admit it. I wasn't expecting THAT. I didn't know they could do that. But it changes nothing. We are still going to destroy them and we don't need some stinking crows to help us. Are you okay? That last blast HURT."
Andrus moves into position to blast the other specter.

no action, fluff text. there is no aid another in getting up. Urlag will still have to spend a move action like I did unless Kith uses her hammer. Is anyone hurting bad? No one is bloody yet, but if you're close, let me know. I can only heal the wounds you tell me about.
Kel, how are you getting a +15 to your attacks? I count that your attack should be +4 Dex, +2 for bow, +2 for level 5, and +2 for magic greatbow for a total of +10, not +15. I gave you an addt'l +2 for your first attack against the sneak last round. are you using the old Kel's numbers? level 9 Kel? or am I missing something?
Kith steps to the side, and her hammer starts to glow with golden light. She swings it at the Specter, as Urlag rises to his feet.

Andrus, seeing that he can only see the Wraith, decides to try to turn undead. "In the name of Holy Avandra, begone foul spirits!"
Perception= d20+11= 22, so I still can't see the specter. But if he is in my close burst2, then he can still be affected. Turn Undead against Wraith, +8 vs Will, 25, if hit, 2d10+5 or 17 radiant damage and I push him 6 sq or to Q6 since that is the extent of the room. oh, and he's immobilized. If specter 2 is there, +3 vs Will, or 17, if hit, also takes 17 radiant damage and is thrown to D9. and is immobilized.
If Kith wants a healing word, she can have one. minor- healing word on Kith, surge+8 hp regained.
Divine light pours from Andrus. The chill in the room diminishes abruptly as the unseen specter is annihilated and the wraith is blasted back against the wall, quite unable to help or heal itself.
