GM:

Samirah is torn between yelling more and clamming up so she doesn't give Hosilla the satisfaction of hearing her lovely voice.

"No one hears me scream today, ადამიანის ღორის.*" She hisses.

*F@#*ing pig, or a rough translation of the insult

"Oh, good, my friend with the deep voice is here! Why don't you get that blade off my leg and cut these ropes, maybe they'll go easier on you when they break through this door!" It's clear she's used to having very loud conversations. Or just being very loud.

"Earth elemental."

Round 1:
Initiative 1d20 ⇒ 2

If Samirah is within 30'
Konstantin pops from cover and uses mage hand to slip the blade from her leg and cut her bonds.

If Samirah is not within 30' but there is cover between her and me
Konstantin waits for the ambush to spring on the hapless earth elemental, then rushes to cover and does the above.

Male Human Inquisitor 9 (Guardian 2)

"Agreed," Chancre says. "It is still disturbing to see violence done to an animal. Even if the animal is unreal."

Round 1:
Initiative: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29

Chancre prepares to follow the Earth Elemental down the hall, corkscrew in hand.

"A glaive can take some of us out with a single hit ... Can someone be on alert to revive anyone who goes down with a potion? Horgus, would you be willing to do that?"

"And are we just leaving the sniper behind us? Or is there anyone who can take him down quickly?"

Round 1:

The goal here is to double-team opponents with Drea, trying to flank and get my Sneak Attack bonus.

After looking at the map, I think we need a round to get into position / summon the elemental / attack and be attacked by the sniper before we open the door. GM, should I revise my round 1 action? Post a round 0 action?

Since this round 1 was flowing from a semi-combat, I'd prefer not to become so worried about the map. I was going with the move near to or into room and standard action assumption for this round, triggered by the elemental setting off the ambush. Which does limit your available actions for round 1, but it looked like most of you were going with that assumption anyway.

Unless, you'd like me to have two rounds to stab the prisoner. My bad guys are cool with this.

Roshan slaps his chest moves two fingers on one hand rapidly with tips pointed down towards the floor. He moves his hand in a zig zag pattern towards the enemy. Then he points towards Aravashnial, makes a hulk pose and stomping towards the enemy and then a waive towards the rest of the group. Then he stops and looks at Aravashnial apparently trying to time his move.

In Which the Elemental Does Not Set Off The Trap - Round 1

Just as Aravashnial's chant comes to it's conclusion Roshan dodges to the front of the group, going through the space the elemental is being summoned into the room, drawing attacks from every single cultist near the door. 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 241d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 201d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 141d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 91d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22 Moving through the room to finish up by the bound prisoner, Roshan takes 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11 damage.

A split second later the elemental is summoned right out of the door and moves in incredibly cautiously. And is also attacked by every single cultist by the door. 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 141d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 91d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 261d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 101d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 251d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7 Two of the other cultist get glaive in the small elemental dealing 2d10 + 6 ⇒ (8, 6) + 6 = 20 damage. And is almost immediately sent back to where it came from.

Chancre prepares to follow the Earth Elemental down the hall, corkscrew in hand. He is able to safely move past the glaive cultist in the door.

Hosilla, a tall woman with a long, dour face, looks at the people coming through the door and proceeds to carry though on her threat, driving the dagger into the femoral artery of the bound woman's leg. Samirah take 1 hit point but is bleeding 1 hit point per round. Then grabs a glaive decorated with red runes from the table.

Samirah:
And it really really hurts.

Drea moves into the room and darts around to the north, providing flanking on the cultist nearer to the door. She then lashes out at guard next to her - who falls to the ground.

Míril draws her sword and follows in close to Drea. And successfully sneak attacks her flanked foe.

The tiefling male puts an arm out, moving the leader away from being in an easily flanked position, keeping himself between Chancre and Hosilla.

The two nearest to Roshan strike out at him, one shortening her grasp on her glaive to properly attack the adjacent man. Roshan manages to dodge both.

The flanked woman and the one in the apex of the group attack Miril, but she manages to dodge those attacks.

The last cultist pulls herself to feet, drawing an attack from Drea (1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 251d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 131d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6) but managing to tag an blow on Drea in return. (Drea takes 8 hit points.)

Kon moves to the point just below the sniper, another arrow deflecting off of his magical armor, and motions towards the knife sticking out of the woman on the table. The knife pulls out of leg and roughly saws at the bonds around her wrists.

Samirah:
Move action to free your hands. Which leaves you a standard. Grabbing the knife I'd allow as a free.

"Step aside, tiefling," Chancre says. "I would grapple with your boss."

...and when the tiefling declines, Chancre attacks it with his blade. Successfully, but only for a nick.

Hosilla shoots Chancre a contemptuous look, "Not even if I needed something to sacrifice."

"The Master of the Maze. My lord beat Asomodeus at his own game, taking part of that devil's plane for his own. He teaches us that all things are possible for us, we just must learn how to listen and use what our enemies ignore."

"Like the freaks. Such a useful commodity, and not a single one of the self-righteous prigs even cared about them."

She flicks through the ropes binding her legs, ripping off a section of pants as she does so.

Drea slams her fist into the face of the cultist beside her who falls to the groud, and then her fangs flash towards the one between her and Míril, closing on air.

Míril maintains her flanking position on the cultist and strikes at him.

The tiefling silently hinders Chancre path to the woman.

The cultists make quick precise attacks, emboldened or afeared of their leader. (Miril takes 11 hp points. Roshan take 11 hit points.) One of the cultists takes a step towards Miril, clearly aiming for the door and the spellcaster behind it.

Round 4 Addedum:

Hm ... if Roshan is still up, don't have her speak the dialogue if she gets conscious; I'll make an assessment of the situation when she's up. Might still say it, just want to see what things looks like first ...

The Minions of the Minotaur - Round 4

Roshan runs forward and behind the former prisoner, slides across the table scooping up Drea and pulling her with him further behind Chancre and Miril's protective shielding. 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 171d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 201d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12 He manages to get through the gauntlet of attacks just barely avoiding the blades.

He quickly and adeptly administers another potion. Drea heals 6 hit points and is conscious at 1 hit point.

The leopard bats at its grappled prey with a heavy paw, moving closer to the creature attempting to perforate it. The cat mauls the first cultist into a bloody heap with the paw, just to turn on the next cultist, it's jaw grappling the glaive user.

Anevia takes a step back and shoots at the woman in the doorway. The arrow hits a glancing blow.

Chancre changes his stance slightly and swazzles at the tiefling. It is... less than successful.

Samirah gives the dagger in her hand a look of loathing, and when she turns to attack the tiefling after her failed attempt on Hosilla, a cry of joy escapes her. She spots her beloved scimitar behind the chakram thrower, and dashes to the other side of the room to grab it.

Hosilla takes a step, "On that note, I believe I already promised your soul to someone." The glaive hits, but not in a middle of the nerve cluster. Samirah takes 9 hit points.

Miril:
I'll resolve both a round 4 and 5 action for you next round.

The tiefling continues to hinder Chancre... and anyone else approaching from that side.

The cultists attack - unsuccessfully - although the one being grappled by the cat manages to hit it with a gauntlet.

Silver claws flash from Konstantin's fingertips as he steps back in close to his attacker. A quick flash of energy begins to close the wound he suffered. The attacker in the doorway looks heavily damaged, but not enough to go down yet.

Round 5:

Action: Move around acrobatically to the left of Míril and grapple the foe she's fighting. Drea will fight defensively. (This all assumes Drea had a chance to stand up after being healed last round) If that foe is already down, go for the one fighting Konstantin.

Acrobatics check: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
Grapple Check: 1d20 + 9 - 4 ⇒ (17) + 9 - 4 = 22

Possible Text: "Leopard may have the right idea," Drea mutters as she launches herself at the woman battling Míril, immobilizing half the enemy's body with a slick arm-lock, rendering her unable to use her glaive effectively.

Round 5

Spoiler:
Sigrit stirs, pressing hand to the side of her head, as though it hurts.
The scene outside her cell is chaotic, but one thing is clear to her at a glance -- the Priestess is distracted and in reach. She reaches within her soul for the piece dedicated to perfect, frozen symmetries and murmurs a prayer.

Mana, my head hates me. Can you run the dice for an I icle attack against the priestess? She should be in range...
