Blast um? Shine asks Her new Pathfinder friends? I can still hit um. Would likely kill the camels.

Shine stands ready to cast a fireball. Long Range - 600 feet. >:)

Shine does not really have enough intel to drop such a spell on these people herself, having no idea of what they have done, but she will trust the other Pathfinders to direct her to take this parting shot or not.

Fireball if directed to cast:

"Please do 'Mysterious Strangers', they have stolen something vital."

Halistar takes off at a run after them.

I assume that Algharud is still following?

F Gnome (Lava) Cleric 6 (HP 48/48, Current AC 26/26/15, F +8, R +4, W +9 Init. +1, Perc. +9)

Doing her best to prevent any collateral damage, and making sure no innocents are in the area Shine will cast here spell. Camel for dinner. she observes.

Even with the commotion going on a street over things seem to be mostly operating under business as usual, at least until a half dozen camels started rampaging down it anyway. Any spell as large as Fireball is going to cause not only collateral damage to stalls and possibly buildings, but innocent bystanders as well.

Such magic is severely frowned upon, if not outright illegal in a city as large and well populated as Sothis. Fairsplindle thinks she could possibly just get the two mounted figures and some of their spare mounts, but hitting such quickly moving targets at s few hundred feet range may prove difficult.

Camels are currently running at 200 feet per round, so will be 300 feet away by the time Fairsplindle gets into position. I'm going to need a concentration check to aim it right and avoid collateral damage. Standard DC for casting in combat (21).

If you wish to go ahead then make the Concentration check, roll damage, and give me the Reflex DC thanks :)

F Gnome (Lava) Cleric 6 (HP 48/48, Current AC 26/26/15, F +8, R +4, W +9 Init. +1, Perc. +9)

The gnome looks back at Halistar, holds up a hand to feel the windage and says Vital is vital. She places the spell where she thinks it will do the least collateral damage and WILL NOT CAST if she thinks she will hit innocents. But she is a cocky and overconfident adventurer after all and thinks she can pull it off. And, she likes fire.

Concentration: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23

Damage was rolled above - 27 points. DC is Reflex 16

Ahh yes, in the spoiler. Hmm, above average damage :)

Rolls:
Half-Orc's Reflex: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Invisible's Reflex: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16
Camel's Reflex: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Heh, camel has a better save than the Half-Orc.
Half-Orc's Ride: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19
Invisible's Ride: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21

Fairsplindle manages to time her spell just right, an enormous ball of flame exploding in midair, partially enveloping the riders and four of the mounts. When the roiling flames disappear a moment later both figures are climbing swiftly back to their feet, while the four camels caught in the blast are scorched, two of them down, and two of them dazedly staggering on. The two that escape the blast likeways trot on a short ways as their momentum carries them forward, before stopping.

Meanwhile the building to the right is looking badly charred and smouldering, and the citizens are either cowering or running for their lives, screaming.

Alright, this shouldn't last too much longer, but I think we're going to go into initiative. Zanos and Algharud, if you wish to join then you will need to bypass the trash.

Initiative:
Half-Orc: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Invisible: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Halistar: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Fairsplindle: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Rameth: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11

Round 1: Half-Orc, Rameth, Halistar, Fairsplindle, Invisible

The Half-Orc dusts himself off, glares back down the street towards Halistar, and pulls something from his belt, quickly uncapping it and chugging down the contents while edging closer towards the uninjured mounts.

Not a bid deal, I hope, but I thought I avoided collateral damage with a 21+. :) And totally OOC, but is the Invisible guy the guy that was hit by the Glitterdust? If so, is he now visible, but you are just referring to him as 'that' guy? Or is there an unseen opponent that we do not know about?

Round 1
Shine will also run forward, but her progress is less than impressive.

@ GM - Remember that Algharud's player is on vacation, so you'll need to 'Bot him. :)

Zanos sighed. I guess it's over the trash. he thought.

Round 1:

Zanos quickly cast a spell, intent on including Halistar, Algharud and himself in it's effect.

Casting haste. Will include the two newcomers if they happend to be within 30 ft. of Zanos when his spell goes off, which doesn't seem likely.

The sage then attempted to circumvent the obstacle.

Escape Artist: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22

Edit: Wheh! :)

Zanos then bolted forward, moving at an unnatural pace.

Speed 60 from haste, Round 1 of 6.

Zanos' Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13

Round 1: Half-Orc, Zanos, Rameth, Halistar, Fairsplindle, Invisible

Rameth and Fairsplindle have in fact overtaken Zanos while he hesitated on the other side of the trash. Halistar is well out of reach having run 120 feet. Haste will affect Zanos, Fairsplindle and Rameth. Rameth can still run and can get about 75 feet from Half-Orc and 60 from the Invisible guy.

Rameth will do the run to get to 75 feet away

Ride: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23

Mr. Invisible hurries quickly towards the nearest uninjured camel, and jumps swiftly back into the saddle, squeezing his legs and setting it moving once again. He glances backwards as the Camel lurches once more into motion, incanting and gesturing before pointing at Halistar, firing a bright pinprick of light which slams into him.

Force Missile Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

-=-=-=-=-=-

The Half-Orc meanwhile looks at his fleeing companion, before turning back to the swiftly moving Rameth and Halistar with a sneer. He advances towards Halistar and Rameth, placing himself in the middle of the road as he draws what appears to be a crossbow bolt.

If either Halistar or Rameth runs again then they are going to take the readied attack. They could get around the Half-Orc safely but they would only be able to double move.

Readied attack:
Arrow stab: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Sneak Attack (if running): 3d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 4) = 15

Rameth moves 50 feet directly in front of the Half Orc, eating the stab into his side, Rameth grunts but ignores the pain.

Not bad, but I can do better.

Rameth, still holding onto his luck, levels a vicious cut at the Half-orc.

1d20 + 10 + 2 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 10 + 2 + 2 + 1 = 30 for 1d8 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 2 = 7

Don't forget the Fort save. DC 24 :D
Strength damage: 1d3 ⇒ 3

You seem to be adding an extra +2 there Rameth. It doesn't matter in this case but looks like you added your Luck twice.

The Half-Orc takes Rameth's slice as he drives the arrow into the Human's side; the arrow itself doesn't hurt much, but whatever it was coated in swiftly starts to painfully sap the strength out of him. "Pathfinders really annoy Hrokon..." he growls his displeasure as he grinds the shaft into you.

Yes Rameth, but according to your own character profile/alias, the +10 already includes the Archaeologist's luck bonus :p Your normal bonus with a longsword is only +8

-=-=-=-=-=-

Ahh yes, vigorous motion I'd say that was (only a single move). Now that I remember what he was doing however, there was no gesticulating or incanting, he just pointed and shot.

Actually Fairsplindle if you run you make it 105 feet. 15+20 from hastex3=35x3=105 :)

-=-=-=-=-=-

Zanos' spell impacts the camel, splashing over it's side, starting to burn it's flesh as it's glittery rider jabs his heels into it's side, urging it to greater speed as he cuts across the street, disappearing into a distant alley.

Spur Mount: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24
Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 2
Camel has taken 5 damage

-=-=-=-=-=-

Hrokon glares at Halistar as the Bard rushes past him, presenting a wonderful opportunity to strike, if only he'd had a weapon handy. He turns his attention back to Rameth as he draws his scimitar, gripping it in both hands as he takes a defense stance and attacks.

Sorry, not packing Delay Poision. DC of 24 on that poison was over the top for 6th level by the way. That is crazy hard.

Zanos huffs and puffs his way to catch up with the others, aided by his spell he manages to reach one of the unconcious camels which seems to still be breathing as he pauses to rest a moment.

Rameth meanwhile cuts down the Half-Orc with a savage blow and calls back to his companion for divine assistance, which the gnome provides, easing fixing some of the damage done by the poison, which continues to course through his veins.
2 rounds of poison done, current strength damage of 2 (after Fairsplindle's Lesser Restoration). Four rounds of poison still to go :) It is a fairly ridiculous poison, which is why he saved it to use when he knew he was going to be knocked out :p rather than using it on Zanos before

Shine, unable to chase the thief effectively will call to Rameth to delay for healing before he bolts off. Wait my friend. And consider taking a camel instead of just running. Whether or not he waits Shine will first move up to be next to the half orc and then channel positive energy one time, excluding the half orc, to save the camels. Hopefully it will also heal the Rameth some.

Chanel healing: 3d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 4) = 8

@ GM - Did you roll acid damage for the camel on rounds 3-4? It's 2d4.

Zanos eyed the beast warily, and chose to run after the thief on the camel.

I feel like dying. This has got to end soon! he thought.

He runs as fast as he can to that alley!

Round 4

Halistar still runs on

Male Human Sage Wildblooded Sorcerer 6; AC 13, flat-footed 11, touch 13; HP 38/38; Init +2; Fort +6, Ref +6, Will +9; Perception +12

Ack! I realized that I forgot to put that in:

Round 4: Run toward alley (see above). Round 4 of 6 for haste

I did for round three, but not yet for round 4. Considering it had one hitpoint left after the round 3 damage however, it'll now be dying.
Acid damage to Camel: 2d4 ⇒ (4, 2) = 6

Leaving the newly joined Gnome behind the group continues to hurry towards the alleyway, though none of them yet reach it they hear a heavy thump come from that direction

Rameth, you can take the 8 healing.

Fairsplindle steps over the Half-Orc and channels the might of her deity, watching the burns of the camels slowly start to scab over and fade, the two formerly unconscious ones stirring and then climbing to their feet, while the Half-ORc at her feet continues to bleed.

Hrokon: 1d20 + 2 - 6 ⇒ (7) + 2 - 6 = 3

Thief:
Caster Level: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Stealth: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (10) + 13 = 23

When you guys enter the alleyway this round you can give me perception checks. You will at most be moving at double move speed :)

Zanos rushed around the corner and scanned the area for the thief.

Wow - That was some impressive perceiving. :)

Shine moves to the most healthy camel she can move to (still hasted) and mounts up.

Strength damage (4/6): 1d3 ⇒ 3
Total damage of 6

The three advance members of the party slow their pace some, hurrying into the alley. There they find a camel dying at the opposite end of the alley, a piece of parchment blowing in the breeze towards them, and a street once more going more or less about it's business; admittedly the dead camel and themselves looking sweaty and harried are drawing some attention. As they scan their keen vision over the crowd it's not particularly difficult to spot the glowing man non-chalantly crossing the street, drawing odd looks from the rest of the passersby. As they watch however, the glow around him seems to be fading, and moments later he disappears from their view inside the alleyway.

The alley is approx 80 feet long, Halistar is 50 feet in, Zanos is beside him, Ramos is 30 feet behind.

Fairsplindle meanwhile jogs up to the other camel that escaped the fireball and struggles to mount it, slowly squirming and wriggling her way into the too large saddle and gripping the reins.

As she does so she hears a loud crash and some cursing from the alleyway behind her, the one you all originally arrived on this street from, while the people on this stretch of street are starting to peek out from their hidings spots looking universally quite frightened and anxious, several staring in undisguised horror at Fairsplindle as the little gnome walks away from the Half-Orc laying in a slowly expanding pool of blood.

Hrokon:
1d20 + 2 - 7 ⇒ (11) + 2 - 7 = 6

Lets see what Zanos does, shall we, what with his See Invisibility.

F Gnome (Lava) Cleric 6 (HP 48/48, Current AC 26/26/15, F +8, R +4, W +9 Init. +1, Perc. +9)

Stabilize is a range spell, not touch. I had planned to stabilize the half orc before riding. :)

Shine casts a spell on the half orc, stopping his bleeding, bows to the onlookers and then rides towards the alley.

Male Human Sage Wildblooded Sorcerer 6; AC 13, flat-footed 11, touch 13; HP 38/38; Init +2; Fort +6, Ref +6, Will +9; Perception +12

Round 6

Round 6 of 6 for haste.

Still able to see the thief with his spell that allowed him to see invisible creatures, Zanos said to the others, "Follow me!"

He then rushed toward the invisible man before his spell of celerity ended.

I don't know how far the thief is from Zanos, but he actually wants to physically reach him.

He might do something ridiculously crazy if he can Charge or reach the thief with a single move. Ridiculous like trying to trip the thief (who appears to be unarmed, right?).

His CMB w/ Str dmg is -1, or +1 w/ a charge.

Except Zanos cannot see anyone the other two can't. The three of you hurry forward to the end of the alleyway and peer around, having a quick, whispered conversation and the thief and his short pony-tail and artisan outfit seem to not be where you'd expect them to be, visible or not.

As soon as Fairsplindle starts to cast a spell again the nearby onlookers duck quickly out of sight, one doing the opposite as she leaps to her feet and start shrieking, dashing for her life down the street. When a few moments later the group of the city Watchmen emerges from the alleyway covered in trash the citizen makes a bee-line for them, gesticulating wildly back at Fairsplindle. "It was her! She did it! She killed them all! Please, help me!" she yells at them in hysterics, the guards looking confused and none to pleased as they look to Fairsplindle as she rides 50 feet after her friends.

End of combat unless you guys have some kind of brilliant idea to locate your thief... Haste now over too :)

Fort 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22 and Fort 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9 That should cover the last two rounds there. 2d3 ⇒ (2, 2) = 4 unless you want to reroll that rameth is down a total o f10, though and currently at 8, until bull strength wears off.

Rameth hunches over weakened and exhausted. Shine I could use a little, not make that a lot more help. Rameth tries to laugh but is just too beat.
