Well, that was interesting.
Rowan watches as Valtyra works her healing magic. Not something he could do, but a bit of professional curiosity pushed him into keeping an eye on the process. Ah well, no choice in how you're born
Well, shall we head out? I dont know about you all, but I'm ready now.

Valtyra looks at Rowan and nods her head, "As am I." Then, to Thessilin, "I hope that feels better - if it still pains you when we return, I will endeavor to do more. Until then, fare well."
She turns and walks to the door, eager to be on her way.

The party starts out of Dwellhold just after a quick conversation and some rest. You make quick work passing over the plane that separates the valley that the town is in and the large and ever ominous forest. Following the quick instructions that were written down on your map, you move through woods of tall pine and fir trees. As you come closer to the spot marked on your map you see that the dirt path you were following into the forest seems to have divergent trails that lead to small houses. When the sign for the woodcutters camp finally comes into view there is no sight of the edge of the forest and you are surrounded in the darkness of the over hanging trees. Give me a PERCEPTION CHECK. Also, I want to do a round of combat a day; so when you eventually do hit combat I need to know if it is alright for me to control your character and give it a basic action, if you don't post.

Rowan looks around as the group approaches the woodcutters' camp. He feels much more confident in the city, despite a distrust of people. Something about the certainty of what to expect made everything a bit easier.
He took a long look around, a little wary of what might happen to the party while in the forest.

Ok, I know google docs is not going to do very well for combat but I may be able to get a different system soon.
Everyone give me an initiative check.
Go ahead and place yourselves where I have outlined.

Quentin was also not one well comforted in a non-urban environment, as he was not particularly skilled at maintaining awareness in a possibly hostile environment not consisting of humanoids . . .

Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21

I'm going out of town to a funeral - I'll have my computer, but don't know about connectivity. I'll also have my phone, but don't know how much time I'll have to check in. Feel free to DMPC me, as needed.
