Yes, that is what I meant.

And GM of Anything is also correct that each version of Solstice Scar is considered a completely different scenario. When version B comes out next year, everyone will be able to play that--even on the same character that played version A.

Right. There are supposed to be benefits/boons to playing multiple versions on the same character.

I'm a brand new player looking for games to join. I don't see any available right now. Am I looking in the right place?

Yes you're in the correct place. If you're looking for Starfinder there is a link at the top of the page. If you are looking for SFS I'll be recruiting for a table in the next couple hours.

I'm sure all of us can help you find a table!

What's the current table status?

Normally, new games start every 2-3 days. However, we are in the middle of an online convention right now (Gameday VI), so there are less games starting up than usual.

Can anyone tell me... Nethys says the elemental races are available only by boon in PFS. The new PFS guide lists ifrit, sylph, oread, and undine as available and other races as boons...is Nethys out of date? And are their lists of PFS legal feats, archetypes, etc. otherwise pretty spot on-as long as you own the source material?

Grand Lodge

Nethys is out-of-date regarding PFS-authorized races. Look at the current edition of the Roleplaying Guild Guide, Additional Resources, and Campaign Clarifications documents. The truth is out there, VoodooMonkey, all in free downloads from Paizo.

This is a roll call for GM ShieldBug's Mists of Mwangi (#0-05) - PbP Gameday VI. Will the following players please check in on the discussion thread:

Xynen
djpika
kuey
grimdog73
Blake’s Tiger
Wormys_Queue

The game is scheduled to start on the 6th October, but we can start sooner if everyone is willing.

There are only two seats left for the second session of #8-99: Solstice Scar (1-11)! The game will run from October 6 - November 17, and please remember to signup for only one table.

Sign-Up Link

Players currently participating in the first run ARE allowed to play in the second as well. Currently we need:

3-4 Regular 1 player
5-6 Regular 1 player

Silver Crusade

Brand new to pbp at Paizo and fairly new to PFS. I've played a LOT of pbp over the years on my own board though, so I'm not new to the concept at least.

I've signed up for the #8-99: Solstice Scar, but wanted to know if this character should no longer be used for tabletop games if she engages in the pbp adventure? Thanks for any advice you can give me!

Correct, it's like playing a multi-session module or the like. You have to wait for the PbP to finish before taking the character on other adventures.

Silver Crusade

She should not be used for tabletop play while you are playing in Solstice Scar, no. But if you are only signed up at the moment (i.e. for Session 2, starting in October), you can play her at RL tables (or PbP tables, for that matter) up to and until that session of Solstice Scar starts.

So long as you aren't actually playing, or have previously played #8-99: Solstice Scar (1-11), in Standard mode without some sort of re-play boon/allowance-thingie, correct? It's not Evergreen as far as I can tell.

And obviously re-playing with the same character is right out.

Silver Crusade

Definitely haven't played Solstice Scar before, not with any character. The number on it is odd, though. Is it a 'regular' game or some kind of special one? I've not played Society for very long, but I've never seen a -99 designation before.

Grand Lodge

The Solstice Scar is one of the multi-table specials, sometimes known as interactives, as they involve many different tables all playing the same adventure at the same time and contributing to the overall success of the entire event. The -99 and -00 numbering is used to represent the unusual nature of the adventure.

Correct, I am referring to play in both campaigns.

There's a link at the top of the page to the Castamir's Flexseed Spacestation, which is what you are looking for

I found the Additional Resources Thanks man!

The second session of #8-99: Solstice Scar (1-11) is now full! If you're still looking for a seat, please add yourself to the waitlist. If a spot opens up for you, either myself or your GM will contact you.

Okay, so I was building this character online and had a few questions
1) how do I input more sessions? I have completed gallows of madness.
2) how do I upload sheets in general? ( I have Debt to Society applied to this character)
3) I played a one off mission and never got the chronicle sheet, I was wondering how I could Get that (or if I couldn't)

I don't remember the name of that mission, but here is a basic description of what happened (100% spoilers):
The old sword master turned werewolf and started hunting down his old enemies.
We saved the werewolf, but failed the chase. (He had killed the person before we got there.)

1: You don't. Your GM (or the Venture Agent in charge of the venue) does that, but it's your paper Chronicle sheet that matters, so as long as you've got that, your character has it.

2: You don't really upload it anywhere. We transcribe our sheets (and often Chronicles) onto our character profiles. GM Hmm has a link to a template for one version.
3: First try the GM, then try the Venture Agent for the venue. If that fails, you're probably out of luck. The paper chronicle sheets are all that matter and there's no back-up system.

Thank you! Just what I was looking for.

My pleasure! Happy PbPing! :)

This is the template I like. I like that it has all the skills and that if you do global subs for the +0[stat] markers, it makes it really easy to calculate skill levels, CMD, CMB, and attacks.

Satinder, was the game reported? Does it appear in your character's sessions? If so, you can apply to your local VC for a replacement chronicle.

Hmm

I don't know... All that [ooc/ocd] stuff seems like a bit of a waste of space and time considering how jammed those lines can get at later levels, and how much fun it can be to edit them on a phone--especially one of those old rotary ones. Other than that, I like the templates.

In fact, I think they're GRRRREAT!

When you first create your profile in can take a few minutes (or longer) to finish it. But after that it doesn't take that much work to keep it up to date if you make changes when they are needed. Adding 1 level at a time just requires very little work.

Mine took me several days working on and off for hours at a time, but mine is extremely syntax heavy, is loaded with URLs, has a background/description, as well as things for the GM like botting info. I also asked GMs for input on how to improve it so I kept returning to it.

I had to do it all with my phone, which certainly made things harder.

Would the following check in here for Gameday VI Session 2.

Suede
Tundran
Chadius
Cartmanbeck
Otha

We still have a couple weeks before starting, but this way we can get our preliminary bookwork taken care of ahead of time. The week of October 6th, I'll start looking to our watilisters to fill in openings.

Just submitted a table for Gameday VI session 2 for scenario 01-52 The City of Strangers, Part 2: The Twofold Demise. That game is already full as we are just carrying the same crew forward from Part 1, which is in progress.

The session ID is 230, if you want to mark it as full.

I am looking for 4 additional characters who wish to brave the house on hook street. Priority given to new players.

If you feel brave enough to risk your sanity, your soul, and your body, sign up here and may you never forget what happened to you this night

Sovereign Court

slight correction, I didn't realize I put priority to new players, it is supposed to be priority to those who haven't played House on Hook Street, thank you to those who pointed it out to me

I will be running the Evergreen scenario, The Confirmation [5-08], for the second session of Gameday VI. This scenario is for Level 1-2 characters.

The first six to post here will be accepted to play. This game will start promptly on October 6th.

I've got a new Alchemist currently playing in Solstice Scar that I'd like to bring along!

Many apologies, I posted in the gameplay tab and not here. This game is full.

I Would really like to get involved in a PbP game if anyone has free space on a table or is starting one soon.

Welocome to the Pathfinder Lodge.

Part 2 of Gameday VI is about to start on October 6.

Check here Game Day for open seats at those tables. Click on the open seat links, and follow the instructions the GM requests.

There is a link to games that the GM's hold seats for new players, but I can't seem to locate it at the moment. (It will appear shortly).

Ask any questions you have. This group is super helpful.

A permanent link to that at the top of this page would be nice.

For session 2 of Solstice Scar we have a level 4 at the 5 - 6 tier. Kibbleswitch doesn't mind switching to the 3 - 4 table but it is full. Any players at Ladile's table with a 5 - 6 character willing to swap?

Welcome, Dlaffoon!

This is a reminder to Flaxseed GMs... If any of you are starting up evergreens or other newbie friendly games, can you reserve 1-2 seats for newcomers? We'd love to get these folks into games if we possibly can!

Hmm

Sure thing. :)

Calling out seekers!

I will be starting a run of the sanctioned portion of PFS AP #90 - Iron Gods: The Divinity Drive

Players interested in such a run should familiarize themselves with my style of gameplay, my rules and consider that I might not be as swift as some of the more prolific GMs out there.

Players should also be the type that get along with one another.

Players interested should also have a PFS seeker character in the level 15 to 17 range, with an eye towards party composition.

As of right now Cartmanbeck is interested in playing. With what I do not know.

My sign-up sheet is right here. As another thing: things may get rough for me as we approach December into January. But I will try and be as consistent as possible in my posts and I will finish the game with you, so long as I have your trust and some of your patience.
