I'm interested

Sovereign Court

On a completely different topic, recruiting for a game of 8-07 From the Tome of Righteous Repose for Gameday VI, session 2, i.e. 6 Oct. I am targeting tier 3-4 specifically. This is an evergreen scenario but also has a reputation of being quite tough. (My first time playing it, we came close to a TPK. :p )

You can find the sign-up sheet here. (Scroll to the bottom.)

Sovereign Court

Signed up. All my characters in tier have played it, though, so I'd be using a pregen. Are you okay with that, or would you prefer I gave up my spot?

Silver Crusade

Interested in the vanara game, if it doesn't start too soon. As I said, I really have no idea what to do with my boon. And I'm in a couple of PBP games already, with more coming soon in the game day, so I don't want to overload myself.

Sovereign Court

Sure, no problem! Alternatively, you do have 2 months to bring a fresh character up to level 3. That's only about one scenario per week! :)

Sovereign Court

Cool, thanks! It's possible I could bring one of my blobs to that level, I game face-to-face once per week, but we're going high tier next week and the two after that we're doing Doom Comes to Dustspawn. So, unlikely, but you never know.

I ran that module last year, and it has a lot of potential that is hard to achieve. It's one that will suck if you're in a hurry, but could be awesome with an extra hour or two and some GM tinkering.

I ran it last month for a group and I agree with Granta. How well you describe some of the end events will decide how intense it comes off. I did like that I could just max a lot of the variables instead of dice rolling them to keep it a challenge for my 6 person table.

Obviously, I am! :)

Please sign me up as I cannot edit the link from my phone :(

I have the following available:

Human knifemaster 4.1
Halfling fighter rondelero duelist 3.2

Both are ready now, and I don't see them getting in a game before than :)

I'm looking for two players to round out a Consortium Compact table. In the party so far we have a life oracle, a battle oracle, an inquisitor, and an alchemist. Consortium Compact is an evergreen, replayable with as many 1st level characters as you'd like, and playable once with a 2nd level character.

Interested? Sign up here. I'll randomly select two players tonight or tomorrow morning, and my goal is to have the game going by tomorrow night or Saturday.

"Hey, any of you lot seen...'Agent Eclipse' or 'Saving Cap'n Crunch'? Those can't be right! Who wrote this summons anyway? Ah, here we go, these look more like names: Sinaryn! Meletus Molravi! Report to the briefing room, on the double!"

Thanks for all the interest. Players 'Agent Eclips' and 'Saving Cap'n Crunch', you're the lucky draws. Please head over to The Consortium Compact and introduce yourselves.

played in classic (normal) mode Sign ups here

This session was opened as a player approached me and asked for this scenario to be run - happy to oblige this little blast from the past

Liberty's Edge

"Oh boy! Finally something to get the feet wet...or at least moving. Haha!" Sinaryn twirls around on her barstool and swirling through the crowd towards the briefing room.

Ha! Now I know how Shifty gets everything done! He's a Time Lord!

Hmm

Are they going to open more tables for the up coming event

If you mean the special? I believe GM Granta said there are no plans to add more tables.

If you mean the Gameday VI, check here for tables with space. Game Day VI

Speaking of, mark Game 139 as full, please.

I just learned about this whole multi-table special thing, I am assuming that it will probably be to late to bring a lvl 1 character in on it right?

Unfortunately all the tables are full for the special save for 1 seat at a CORE 7-8 table as far as I can tell.

Lantern Lodge

Which you could bring a pregen to, and apply the credit against a new level one core character...

GM Aerondor wrote:

Or a new level 1 core character which as a result of level 1 retraining decides to no longer be core anymore afterwards...

DM Snider wrote:

Unlikely. I found that at 18 tables of MTS it was the outer edge of fun. Past that it just becomes unpleasant for the Overseer.

DM Beckett wrote:

For sure, but like some others I think I'd best wait till one or two of my gameday pbps have finished.

Liberty's Edge

Are there any standard spots left for the special?

Sovereign Court

Anybody interested in playing Solstice Scar should still add themselves to the waitlist (scroll right on the sign-up spreadsheet in my profile). There is a small chance that I will organize a second run for session two of the gameday, and players on the waitlist will get preference.

And D’oh!

I had signed up for two Game Day VI tables with the same PC.

So there is currently a vacancy on Table 35 for #8-24: Raid on the Cloudborne Keep [Tier 5-9] (Classic or Normal mode)

My apologies to the GM.

I jumped in and took the slot.

SOLSTICE SCAR SIGNUP AND WAITLIST

I have added some columns to both the GM and player waitlists.

For GMs, I want to know...
1) Do you have the scenario?
2) Are you available to GM in the Second Session of the Game day, if we were crazy enough to host another run?

For the Players, I want to know...

The second session starts October 6th!

Hmm

Liberty's Edge

There's a Core spot for the special. I accidentally signed up for it.

Dark Archive

I am down for it. I just cant put name on sign up sheet atm

Calling agents to muster!

chadius, Xynen, Pirate Rob, JAF0, Llama_Bill, and Werepox47, your table is ready. Aerondor, you are waitlisted!

Dark Archive

Is someone could sign me up for the core spot in 3-4 ?
Thanks ! (On my phone and unable to do it)

Interested in playing 8-02: Ward Asunder during Gameday VI?
Do you have a standard (not core) character between levels 5-7?
1 spot opened up, so I'm looking for a replacement.

Add your character to the lottery here and I will run a lottery 48 hours from now.

"Ahem!" An elderly gnome slowly steps into the lodge, leaning heavily on his cane. He draws a single piece of parchment from his belt pouch and attempts to project his voice. "Would--" His voice cracks in an alarming way and he coughs to recover before clearing his throat and trying again. "Penumbra, Son of Cayden, Hadzi, Garzen Marbleface, Little Dio, and... whoever Sedoriku is sending - please assemble here!"

---

Now that we have everyone, would Eric Collins - France, GM PDK, Ietsuna, TheSuperDodo, Will Huston, and Sedoriku assemble in preparation of Gameday VI's #7-10: The Consortium Compact?

I have never played Pathfinder Society before. Are the games listed here open to all factions? I was planning on dipping my metaphorical toes into Pathfinder Society play, but don't live near a sizeable game. Hence, I found my way here.

I have played Pathfinder for quite a while, so I know the rules. I just want to participate in a game since I have little free time now that college is over and that fun thing called 'adulting' begins.

RPG Superstar 2015 Top 16

Any faction can play any Pathfinder scenario; there are no scenarios that are only for this or that faction. (Assuming by factions you're referring to like Grand Lodge, Liberty's Edge, etc.) Some scenarios will be more relevant to specific factions, and have special rewards accordingly, but you never have to worry about being able to play a specific scenario due to your faction.

Also, welcome to Pathfinder Society and the Flaxseed lodge!

Silver Crusade

Thanks a lot! Are there any special rules for PFS in a play-by-post format that I should be aware of apart from no staring at modules to metagame, something I assume happens occasionally?

RPG Superstar 2015 Top 16

Expect a slow pace, if your last experience was tabletop/face-to-face. A decent-paced PFS scenario may take a month by play by post (as opposed to 4-5 hours of table gaming). When I run them I tend to be a little slower and clock in at the 1.5-2 month range, even.

There's a post linked at the top of the thread that is titled 'Getting Ready for PFS PBP' which, if you haven't read yet, is a great starting point and covers most of the specifics.

If you're also new to PBP in general, you might want to browse a game to get a feel for what formatting and narrative posts tend to look like. This is a module I ran a while ago that can't be played for PFS credit, so you won't "spoil" yourself for any PFS content by looking at it. (It's also super long, haha, but you can just get a general idea of what a combat looks like in play by post, that sort of thing.)

If you have any other questions, just ask.

As for metagaming: I'm sure it happens sometime, but we all just generally rely on the honor system. I've been in the position of having GM'd Pathfinder Society scenarios before I get a chance to play them, so it's not illegal to have familiarity with a scenario before you play it, as long as you don't abuse that knowledge in scenario.

Silver Crusade

I used to run a few asynchronymous play-by-post games on Discord, so I know the generalities of PBP. My question was primarily aimed at PFS PBP specifically, which I see you have answered.

Thanks for the help!

Just made a sorcerer for the first time ever and want to see how he plays. This is my first magic caster character ever so testing out if I like playing as them as well. Anybody have a session starting soon?

Coming up at the end of the month, we have Gameday VI (Link Here) starting. A lot of games will be launched at that time. Take a look and see if anything peaks your interest.

I can't say about other GMs, but I'm holding off until it gets started at this point before I start anything new. Don't want to over-extend.

Hey, everyone. I'm recruiting a replacement for myself in a Gameday 8:02 Ward Asunder game. The group will be playing at the high Tier (5-7, i believe). i would have stayed in it, but I unintentionally leveled myself out. :/

It's basically a first-come-gets-the-spot gig, so speak up. :)

I ran a lottery to fill that spot, actually. Sorry about the confusion there!

I'm trying to sign up for a spot in GM Lucky's Wounded Wisp gameday table, but for some reason it doesn't look like it's accepting any changes I make. Is there some special trick to it? I'm trying to sign up with my 1st-level kineticist, Mathilde Goruunslag (PFS# 200250-1).

Welcome to the Flaxseed Lodge!

You can look for games that reserve places for new players here and also include your character details so a GM can contact you if he/she has a place at your table.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Starting an Adventure path Reign of Winter book 1, looking for 5 other people, this will be for PFS legal characters at lvl 1, they do not have to be registered at the time of play
