    As Pandoor drops the inspiring words, the armored halfling feels his battle prowess fall. Paeter jabs at the creature as Dorvhan connects with his dwarven waraxe.

    Pandoor, seeing that his companions have a hard time dealing with the last undead minion starts his performance all over again.

    Sorry, didn't mean to interrupt my performance... I just wanted to delay as Pandoor is no melee build.

    Lets assume that 13 is really a 17 and is a hit and let Pandoor's inspire keep applying so we can end this fight instead of dragging it on any longer.

    With a flurry of blows and Pandoor's inspiration the undead creature finally crumbles to dust.

    There is a lingering sense of dread however.

    Paeter nods. "Aye, it seems we got lucky there." Paeter reasons, wishing that he had a wider range of prowess with his weapons, only feeling strong with Pandoor's magical assistance.

    Paeter will cautiously move down the hallway, looking for danger around every corner.

    Yeah, we're not actually moving for another three months but we're making trips every few weeks to move stuff back and start working on it. We also haven't actually bought it yet but the guy who owns it is a fellow farmer and doesn't care if we start moving in before the paperwork is done.

    Paeter is assaulted by the blast rune's sonic screeching, but Dorvhan quickly heals the halfling's wounds. "Nice reflexes, Dorv." he says, grateful for the aid.

    "Falco has it right. Let's pick up the pace." he says as he moves quicker towards the door, checking it for traps before opening it.

    Opening the door...

    Whatever purpose this vaulted, brick-lined chamber may have once served, today it is obviously the inner sanctum of some depraved cult.

    Unnerving, spiky runes have been painted on the brick walls with blood, between which dozens of mutilated birds—gulls, falcons, ravens, and a particularly large number of doves—have been impaled. The foul stink of rotting meat emanates from these grisly trophies.

    Opposite the only visible entrance, a jagged boulder with a bloodstained cloth draped over it serves as an altar, several fly-covered, foul-smelling lumps of meat siting atop it. The wall just beyond the altar has been painted to depict a single curved white feather sitting in a pool of blood. To either side of this symbol yawn archways set with barred doors, turning the alcoves beyond into prison cells. The southern cell’s door hangs ajar, but the northern door is shut and holds a young man in tattered Sarenrae Robes.

    Standing in front of the altar is a read headed half-elf snacking on what appears to be a heart.

    "Shax? No, I don't like the sound of that at all." Falco waves his hand and a sickly green dart appears between his fingers. With a lazy flick he sends it flying at the half-elf.

    "What's a Shax, cousin?" asks Paeter as the man launches a globule of acid at the red-headed elf.

    I moved Falco slightly forward so he could hit without the cover of his allies, still leaving Paeter in front.

    Falco's acid ball easily hits the flatfooted priest.

    Zadendi, the aformation priest tries to retaliate with a spell

    but with the acid burning into her she is unable to finish her spell.

    The man in rags in the north cell shouts "Thank the Dawnflower you're here! That mad priest has been saving me for some sort of 'final' sacrifice to Shax!

    Paeter closes the gap with the woman, for the most part, as he hugs the side wall and appears to be trying to flank. "Move north, Dorvhan!" he yells, hoping to flank with the dwarf.

    Seeing the flank coming the priest steps against the north wall, grins and channels negative energy.

    Falco's summons finishes and a large snarling wolvering appears next to the woman. It immediately starts tearing into her:

    The waves of negative energy wash over Paeter, but the stout halfling is largely resistant to the woman's powers. "You should have prayed harder, human scum. I don't think your pathetic god can hear you." he says with a snarl as he lunges forward and tries to stab the woman with his trident, focusing on her stomach.

    Falco's wolverine misses with the bite but does manage to claw the woman twice.

    His magic missiles hit as well, although for minimal damage. just bad damage roll, nothing reducing damage

    Dorvhan also manages a glancing blow before Paeter takes it down allowing Pandoor to keep his spell.

    Zadendi does indeed possess a brass key in the shape of the holy symbol of Sarenrae that opens the well. A quick overlook doesn't reveal any signs of disease or other lingering maladies. The only wounds of note are the gashes from the recent channeling.

    "I haven't seen my gear since I got here. Considering they kept coming in and out of here with new jewelry and coins I think they pawned it all.     "It might be wise to wait here and lay a trap for the remaining gargoyle and cultists." Paeter thinks aloud. "I can hold the doorway with ease against these weaklings and it would make hunting them down much easier."

    The Wolverine tears into lex but is unable to penetrate his unnatural and surprizingly tough skin.

    The magic missiles are more effective though.

    Lex then steps back into his cell, flips over a bed to reveal a bow and quiver full of arrows which he picks up and promptly disappears with them. You are unsure if you are in immediate danger or not.
