DM, would you mind if I asked why my Bluff check didn't work? Not meaning to sound whiny, just that I have not used bluff before and wanted to check if there were any special rules regarding what could and could not be done.

It did work, he believed you completely. He also gave an honest response. Not only does he not have any horses, he's not allowed to leave his post. What does he care if some priest told you the church would give you horses, not his problem.
looks like game group 1 is having a jolly old time meeting new chums and tucking each other up at night with a bad time story and kiss good night.
Arr bless, :) (sorry just could not help myself)

I've never allowed researching spells in the past. I might now, but it would have to be on a case by case basis and with some kind of rules. What did you have in mind?
And for some reason I again posted with that alias, well atleast it wasn't in the gameplay thread this time.
One thing that game to mind was some of the person spells, so modify the spells to allow it effect more creature types, since the party has more than few not falling under that and probably majority of enemies too. Then there were some fire spell ideas, more because I like the idea of creating a new spell to fit the character. Anyways I mostly asked just to know if it was possible not like going to do that in the middle of wilderness.

Group 1, as for your loot sharing you are bound by Geas to....
- To share all that is found in the Worldwound equally between all members of the party. If two signatories want the same object or land, they will bid for it and the price will be removed from the winner's share of liquid assets (ie. Coins or Gems).

Our choice might be made for us. The recruits are dropping out.
I must say I like Drenzen though. Mechanically strong and his role play so far is good.
Spoke too soon
Now we have the Gorumite
The fighter
And a new cleric of Imodae who is waiting for approval.
Given how long this is taking should we wait for others or go between these 3?
Mechanically: they are all strong.
The fighter is good reliable DPR. In a smaller group I would say hell yes, but we are going to be fighting predominantly EVIL things and his will save is nothing special (that's just me but I ALWAYS go for a High will save fighter/ranger).
The cleric of GORUM is built for DPR. In bursts he'd rock and obviously has the advantage of prepared spells.
The cleric of IMODAE (who is awaiting approval to post) is Spell and Channel
focused and looks to be going the Divine Tank route. +6 to SR vs outsiders is sweet and HV (which he is aiming for) is a Damn good Prc. His aura's, which kick in at 8th level will be great.
Aura of HEROISM will affect all of us as a swift and Aura of Menace sucks enemy AC and saves. I could team evil eye with that and drop a combined-6 to AC or Saves on a BBEG.
Role play:
Only heard from the GORUMITE so far but I like what I have seen so far.
The IMODAEN has a kick A$$ back story and I'm gonna talk to the fighter in the game play thread.

No problem, and if you don't mind I'd like to join in the discussion.
I'm planning on taking Iron Will as Terri's next feat. and I would like to point either the 8th level point or the 12th level one into WIS. The other would go into DEX and 16th would go into CON if we get that far.
As far as dealing with Eval Critters™ I would like to get her sword consecrated at some point to be holy.
As for the backstory, Sigmund's got one of the best one's I've seen, and makes me feel like a hack writer. That said, it'd be fun to see what happens when him and Terri meet.
