Hell yeah!

Woot woot!

The Heroes of The Well (Written & Performed by Abner Greenway III)

Going forth to save the world

Seven heroes tried and true.

The half-elf and his faithful ass

The little mage....confused.

The ugliest chef in all the realm

A bouncer to clear the room.

An islander without a home

The wolverine and........who?

Going forth to face a God

The hour of judgement is soon.

Honor? Courage? Sacrifice?

It's probably just the booze!!

Any Bucks or Brewers win between now and Saturday at 4:30 PM results in forum prizes so check in from time to time!!!

Good one.
I'll have to relay that to Abner after the pit fiends get done with him.

Brewers won on Wednesday, just fyi...

so, selfish question of the day. do we have enough loot for me to retrain HP?

We will but the point we're at now I doubt we can invest the time to retrain?

Unless I'm mistaken I thought Eric said we can retrain whatever during downtime regardless of how long it would supposedly take

If you got the cash you can retrain it in downtime. It doesn't make sense story wise, but it does lazy-wise.

I say your second post on the forum ever trumps sense making :D gimme dem HP's!!!!

Remember....10 souls of my choosing is what you owe me for the portal to Absalom. 10. No more...no less.

You'll get your souls great weaver of angel-skin robes, but 2 questions plague me *chuckles* why is the portal to your land in my home? And what happens if we are unable to procure a soul you require?

The covenant I hold with another is a private affair. I cannot divulge the details to you Claudandis...but I can tell you the souls of your people where bartered to me for "services rendered".

You don't want to know the answer to question two...even though I think you already know the answer.

Then it stands to reason that the tenants of this covenant that you can not divulge were souls for services rendered. So then I ask, who made a deal with you that resulted in that which destroyed my home. Your souls are your business, who set in motion that which took my home from me.

Our next gaming session will primarily focus on the Test of the Starstone. If we get thru it all, you will have Mythic tiers to add to your character sheet as a reward.

Here is what will be required of you at the gaming table;

1.) Have TWO copies of your character sheet ready to go; adjusted to reflect ZERO magic items.

2.) Think of the character/gamer that typically sits to your left. Take some time, and jot some some notes about their play style (typical actions, decisions, tactics, etc.). Pending attendance, you should be preparing as such;

(Starting at my typical left); Tim (Rusk) = Bob (Targoth). Bob (Targoth) = Mike (Lock OR Logan). Mike (Lock OR Logan) = TJ (Dusty). TJ (Dusty) = Rat (Claudandis). Rat (Claudandis) = Tim (Rusk). Graham (Briston) = Mike (Lock OR Logan).

It should be easy enough for those of you who may have to act as Lock or Logan to prepare for both. Logan isnt that convoluted....he flies and he eats shit....and he's pretty good at it.

If for whatever reason someone cannot make it, I will sub as needed/where needed.

This could be a time consuming process, so it is key that we all show up prepared. If you cannot get extra character sheets please advise and I will try to get you some.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Only one question:
You son of a b%!~* o.o

Only one question:
You son of a b##%@ o.o

Claudandis...Ask your new companions what happened to their home when they resisted. Ask them who they resisted. Here lies your answer.

***OF SPECIAL NOTE***

When you create your two character sheets, along with no magic items;
-no spells
-no spell like abilities

Su & Ex abilities are up for discussion and will be handeled on a case by case basis. Let me know which ones you have and I will determine if any of them will function in the Cathedral.

Where do traits and hero points fall in this non Magic/magic ability arena?

Both can be utilized.

Also if the GM concurs , we should be at our max of 3 hero points . 1 for each level gained.

Concur!

Should be interesting... I have character sheets.

So as for the run ups of our magicless characters, do we keep our gear and treat it as non magical?

You can. For example, Dusty tier crafted on an adamantine bastard sword. Sans magic, this is an adamantine bastard sword.

That's what I had hoped. At least my heirloom weapon bonus will still work

we do not have any extra money to retrain hit points... we exhausted all our gold when we left Seven Snakes, so until our next payday you only have your personal gold... for me this was 73 gold, which I'll gladly donate to someone retraining hps.

And the weapons should be counted as masterwork still.

Yes. Your crafted weapons will be treated as masterwork. Lock raises and interesting point, what equipment do you have once you strip away your magic items? This will be important. Once in the cathedral I won't allow any "I forgot's" or "well my character would have's"....

Dusty, I will gladly accept your 73 gold to help retrain some of Norgorber's HP. Thanks!

I appreciate the gesture but for now let's keep our money. Ya never know. It's not a ton of hp I'm away from max.

Perhaps I'm confused. I was under the impression that any magic gear we have becomes mundane it we still keep our gear.

Correct; however, since magic weapons and armor can only be crafted from masterwork they would essentially revert to their orginal quality/form.

You will have time to shop in Absalom, say you wanted to pick up a silver or cold iron weapon, tools or kits, etc.

Tick Tock....Tick Tock

The cathedral awaits you......

I have nothing to shop for. Let's go be gods.

What the hell,right?

What the hell, indeed!

Never thought I would go shopping in hell...

Hell? Far from it. We walk the golden path.

That's not gold, it's the piss running down Targoth's leg.

though he might waste his water in his trousers, his worth has been proven. we will NOT fail. my path is clear , and in the ways that you all have been good to me make you blood of my blood. we will succeed this test if i have to drag every last one of you piss soaked and bloodied to Ascension!

clap...clap...clap...clap...clap.

I am inspired.

Clap dis ! (Points hobgoblin dong)

**REMINDER**

Thursday 5-28-15 (Just two days away!) is the cut off for supernatural abilities discussion. IMPORTANT, after Thursday I will no longer discuss supernatural abilities and they will not be permitted in play!! NO EXCEPTIONS!

Hero Points will probably play a big role on Saturday. You should be up to speed on ways you can use them. You each have 3. According to the rules; NPC's, animal companions, cohorts and mounts do not receive them.

This means that Kal and Logan would be without hero points. I am not convinced this is how it should be. Kal is already at a level disadvantage and Logan is as much a PC as any one else in the party.

Targoth and Lock, if you feel Kal or Logan should have Hero Points, email me to discuss.

The same cut off will apply of 5-28-15.

I didn't think kal would be part of this.

OK. That's your decision to make Targoth.

Here is the decision I have reached regarding Hero Points for cohorts, NPC's, companions, etc. (thanks for your input Lock).

1.) They will have to share the point pool with your main PC.

2.) Only one of you can use the poins in any given round.

I think this is a fair compromise. I am open to opinions and suggestions up until the cut off.
