That it does, a well placed arrow to the eye drops over the last zombie.

One of the zombies, both wearing an orderly uniform, had a note in his pocket.

Note:

My dearest,

Strange things are going on lately and i fear me and my co-workers are in the eye of the storm.
Remember i wrote we had a new director?
Rumors are going around he's meeting some robed character in the dead of night. Yet those who have asked or wondered out loud have disappeared.
Some of them return, but with utter devotion to the director it seems, most don't however.

A group of visitors have arrived and it's as if they've been a trigger to some plan to be executed. I don't think they're part of it, but their presence is forcing whatever is happening to speed up.

This doesn't feel right, i'm going to post this letter and come back to Kharum by the end of the week....if i live that long.

Lyssa swipes off the ick the zombie's tongue left on her arm.
"Yuck, disgusting!"

The room appears to have been used as a small prison, but with the blue thing and the zombies, it was more likely to be an experimental ground.

Aside from the bodies, nothing of note is found within the room.

Last bit on the floor, get ready.

Sabel shivers. "This place is so depressing."

Lilly: "That is a void kitty, they are bad.", as she gestures at the Akata. She turns her head around, eyes observing nothing in particular.
"Can you hear them....whispering from the shadows?"
Point to whoever gets the reference.

Lyssa frowns; "We have another hallway left. I feel the need to smack some shady people around. No time for loitering Lilly, come along."

Any buffing and the like, now is the time.

*Ominous tension inducing music*

Before heading back, Father Burdock uses his wand of CLW on Lyssa.

Charges, 3 used, 19 left:

1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

As you continue down the hallway west, a chanting can be heard.
"ຫນຶ່ງໃນທີ່ຍິ່ງໃຫຍ່, ໄດ້ຍິນຄໍາອະທິຖານຂອງພວກເຮົາ.
ພວກເຮົາຜູ້ຮັບໃຊ້ຂອງທ່ານຈະ ວິທີການຂອງທ່ານ."

Perception 14:

Lilly seemingly grows more nervous, twitchy at least.

Before you is a great door, decorated with a crude picture of the terrible creature you saw in the mental projection, received earlier from Lilly after she translated the scroll.

Sabel grabs her bow, Lyssa tightens her fists, before she pushes open the heavy door. The old hinges creak, despite it, there's still chanting.
The room is a great hall, similar to that where you had your fight with "Fear".

What you see is a man in a red robe, standing at an altar, beside him stands a slightly taller man in a jetblack robe. The one in jetblack is seemingly instructing him. Standing in wait a woman in robes, the hood just slightly back.

Perception 20:

The woman, it's the crazy nurse...and the red robed man, it's the director!

A number of people in what look like patient gowns stand idly around a pool of red liquid. As they chant, a shimmering black circle appears before the altar and from it comes an unearthly humming. One of them steps forward and lets himself fall, submerging into the red liquid, a red funnel of perhaps blood then emerges and flies towards the black circle, slightly increasing it. The black robed makes a gesture at you.
"In the name of the great Yog-Sothoth, should we meet again, i, brother Asgar will personally enjoy your torment. I bid you all goodbye.", he and the nurse disappear via a portal.

From the altar, you are greeted.
Red robey: "Ah, my uninvited guests. Yet not unexpected. Welcome to your final night on this plane. Even YOU, Lilly, we had great plans for YOU. Now, KILL THEM!"
A few figures overseering the ceremony turn towards you. One is quite broad. It's clothing bulging in a weird way, the clothes rip, revealing a monstrosity. A disgustingly twisted medium broadbuilt humanoid, with dark blue skin, 2 sharp claws and two writhing tentacles on its shoulders. Its lower jaw able to seperate as it watches you with 6 disgusting eyes on its visage. It roars at you as the red robed uncorks a bottle and drinks it, to vanish.

Unconfirmed, but a hit.

Father Burdock's hammer hits someone, as a dull ugh sounds.

Elsa's turn.

Moving 5 feet north away from the monstrosity threatening him, Grint will aim and shoot desperately at the same square he heard the sounds earlier from and where his Arrow seemed to have vanished.

Guess i'll have to roll for Father Burdock.

Dwarven hit?: 1d100 ⇒ 99
Hmm, well that's over with. Of course it would be more a victory if the GM didn't roll it on your behalf ^^.

Father Burdock swings his hammer, "Ugh...nooooo...", and hits the cultist leader. The invisibility is dispelled, the battered body of the robed one lies on the floor. Much to your relief, the Tyrant dissipates and vanishes from the room.

Loot:

3 Mwk daggers.
1 Mwk. hide armor.
Scroll Spellcraft 16, Vanish, CL 2.
Scroll [ooc]Spellcraft 16, Lesser Confusion.
Pouches with a total of 500gc.
1 Quality robe, worth approx 800gc to a tailor.

An amulet with a symbol.
A book, covered in thick leather and locked with an iron lock.
[ooc]DC 25 Disable Device.

Kn. Religion DC 20, Amulet.:

It's a symbol to an Outer God.
More specifically, Yog-Sothoth, an entity of tremendous and horrible power, residing in the vast void. Its worshipers are commonly insane spellcasters, alchemists and cults, all hoping it will grant them power and knowledge. Tales say that, should such an entity ever come to Golarion, it will be the end of all and everything.

The portal hums still, but the patients seemingly slowly stop chanting and faint, as if the robed man being awake kept them going. A stronger hum sounds, making your ears hurt, before the portal slowly shrinks and disappears.

Lilly's walks up to the man.
"The servant-captor lies defeated, does this signify my freedom?"

Lyssa: "Let's not get ahead of ourselves Lilly, we still....", she notices Lilly's restraints are loose. She herself just looks back with her confused shy face.
Sabel: "When did she....get out of those? Wait...she cast a spell just before the end of this, didn't she?"

Lilly: "She got us unstrained, but no harm is wished upon liberty's heralds."
Lyssa: "Yes.....well, i think we should check up on those sisters and the smith. Unless anybody wants to do anything down here."

Elsa says Indeed. We have completed our task yes? Lilly you are free now?

Elsa casts Read Magic to identify the scrolls, and she takes them for safekeeping.

She shows her straightjacket now loose and drops it to the ground, wearing only simple clothing. The collar drops just a second afterwards.

Sabel eyes it warily, "You were restrained by a special straightjacket and an anti-magic collar."

Lilly rubs her wrists and shrugs.
"Yet...there is no specific place to call home. Traveling has been life. Mayhaps you require a translation of anything else?"

Father Burdock:

Say, your beardness, you sure put the whack onto those whackos, didn't you? I didn't see, but i heard...hehehe, nice, very nice. I guess the warden and mage-keeper will be free from their restraints too. Maybe you could level this place, hmm? Free everybody in here...

Sorry about that!, posted before I headed out to run a PFS game for some new players.

"That was the agreement, and a Toragite's word is oath.", Burdock answering Lilly's request.

GM:

"Honestly, that's worth considering. The ruins here do catch my interest and obviously something needs to be done here."

"Hmm... now what to do with this place. There are still some good men and women here that want to do good work, but I'm not sure about what to do with this place."

"The good-willing nurses and staff might help patients in another facility, though I don't think we should let this place remain open. Considering the ghosts and evil acts and such."

Ghosts? Interesting, since the only ghost encountered had only manifested itself to Elsa.
You are done down here?
