With Jenny and Lynnen having decided to remain in the chapel for the time being, only Lilly is crazy enough to go with you.

You eventually come to a small intersection with a half faded plaque pointing at a room around the corner. Dorms.
You also notice bloody paw prints, unlike any normal animal.

Kn. Nature DC 13:

These show strong similarities with a large feline, such as the lion.

Loot sheet No plunder, no pay Battle map--Misc info slides

Man it's quiet here...last 3 posts are mine.

Opening the door, you notice several bunks throughout 50x50ft dorm.
The room is lit only by the vague bits of moonlight coming from a high window. Dim lighting, map is updated.
Whoever enters 1st,

*crunch*:

Picking up whatever you stepped on, you see it is a human's lower jaw, bloody, not cut off either.
DC 11 heal: it's rather ass if something tore it off.

GM rolls:

Perception: 4d20 ⇒ (7, 4, 18, 11) = 40
1 notices and appears.

Perception 12:

There's soft shuffling in some parts of the room.

Father Burdock & Sabel:

Via your awesome low light and dark visions, you immediately distinguish some figures through the space of the bunks. They are wearing the outfit of orderlies. 1 of them comes around the corner in the far back. Disgustingly, he is missing his lower jaw, only a wringgling long 'tongue' is where his lower jaw would have been.

"Elsa, could you cast light on me? There's shuffling inside this room..."

Aside from the missing jaw, it 'looks' human.
But by no means a normal one anymore. Make checks to find out, this sort is a tad more interesting.

Father Burdock:

This is indeed a zombie. However this is a special kind, caused by infestation from outsiders from the great empty.

It is known as a Void Zombie, exceptionally agile zombies, since they lack the staggered composure their average 'kin' have. The 'tongue' is actually a manifestation of the outsider known as an 'Akata' infesting the corpse. Thus their tongue is also a weapon that drains the strength from an individual unfortunate enough to get 'licked' by it.

DC 12 Kn. Planes for info on Akata's.

Happy slaying...
