Elsa's ice barely misses the archer's head. Grint's readied arrow follows afterwards, ending the archer.
This leaves Lyssa's action.

Depends on how far they could come, I could try to catch them in a long hallway with an arrow. Other than that, I'm fine with giving up a chase, we will meet them again eventually.

Loot sheet No plunder, no pay Battle map--Misc info slides

Grint's words of wisdom.

F Human Monk/3 (HP 24/24 | AC:21 | T:17 | FF:18 | CMB:6 [8 vs. Grapple/Pin] | CMD:22 | Fort:+4 | Ref:+5 | Will:+7 | Enchant:+2 | Init:+2 | Perc:+8 | Speed 40)

Lyssa immediately chases after the guys. "You're not escaping me!"

My speed is 40, which is likely higher than theirs. I move 80 feet in a double move. My guess is they move 60 feet in a double move.

She easily catches up with the robed men, and moves past them.

Acrobatics, to move through the square of 1 of them: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
Acrobatics, to avoid an AoO from the other if he's in reach: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16

"Told you so," Lyssa says with a big grin, suddenly ahead of the men and blocking their escape.

They didn't actually move on the map. If you could place them in the squares they'd be in after their first round of withdrawal, GM, then I can decide where exactly to place Lyssa :)

Loot sheet No plunder, no pay Battle map--Misc info slides

Withdraw, double the movement speed on scared robes, they were before you in init. So unless it's become clearer, they moved the equivelant of 4 moves, you won't catch up. 80ft vs 120 ft moved?

Status:
HP: 53/53; AC: 21, T: 14, FF: 17; CMD: 24; Fort: 6, Ref: 6, Will: 4; Init +6; Perception +18
Human Fighter (Mobile Fighter) 7

Actually GM, I think they only move 60 feet. You don't take two move actions with double your movement speed, you take one Withdraw action worth double the movement speed of a single move action. As it is listed as a full-round action and not a move action you can only go double your normal movement speed, being two times the 30 feet speed I'd reckon.

As Lyssa had delayed after Burdock, they now run away 60 feet via the withdraw action not provoking AoO's. On her turn Lyssa could catch them as she double moves after them with 80 feet movement. Compare it with the Run option in movement, it lists it as a full-round action in which you can move up to four times your speed not as taking two moves at quadruple speed.

Loot sheet No plunder, no pay Battle map--Misc info slides

If so, fair enough, but she only catches 1, they split directions.

With 1 caught and 1 running off to the gods know where, what are your intentions?

F Human Monk/3 (HP 24/24 | AC:21 | T:17 | FF:18 | CMB:6 [8 vs. Grapple/Pin] | CMD:22 | Fort:+4 | Ref:+5 | Will:+7 | Enchant:+2 | Init:+2 | Perc:+8 | Speed 40)

Let's just continue to take turns in the initiative order we already had? Though if they did split up that's new information, which changes my previous post to this:

Lyssa sees the two men split up and withdraw. She moves fast, hurrying past one of them as she races for the stairs, and switches into the crane style.

"I'll block the stairs!" she yells just before she leaves the corridor. "I'll hold them up there! Come after me and help me take them down!"

Which of the staircase's squares is the entrance/exit?

Loot sheet No plunder, no pay Battle map--Misc info slides

Regardless, you stop 1, 1 escapes is the likely scenario if you do this one your own. We'll see. Though i recall Father Burdock & Grint wanting to kill them later :), decisions decisions.
Aka, if nobody else wants to run and pursue them, 1 manages to run away and 1 gets captured.

Father burdock wanted to give chase I believe, also Father burdock or I could run instead of using a move action, thereby catching him after our turn, though we'd lose some AC and risk a possible AoO if we do so.

M Dwarf Forgemaster Cleric 7 | AC 25 T 11 FF 24 | HP 66/66 | F +8 R +3 W +8 | Init +1 | Perc +9 | Diplomacy +9 | Runeforge 7/7

Outrun (attempt at?) the robes?
It'll be a running marathon for all. Hopefully Lyssa didn't forget about the pressure tiles.

Let's assume:
Grint & Father Burdock run for it and end up a square behind blue.
Lyssa had delayed and is now in front of red after her run.

Red takes a run action to get up the stairs. Taking 1 AoO from Lyssa by running.
Unarmed: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 Dmg: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Not bothering on crit, it's a knockout.

Blue makes a running action for the stairs, drawing AoO from Father Burdock. Hammer: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9 Whack: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10>miss.
He'd make it and up the stairs.

From this point on it's a cat and mouse chase, with who knows what (i do) coming up.

Warden: "Which in itself is peculiar, even we need a breath of fresh air once in a while. But the tow of us could not move past the corridors to the rooms opposite our own, some force was blocking us as if it were a wall. The man, having been brought back to consciousness, is simply sitting.
Looking at Elsa, he shows a definite sign of doubt and unease.

Sense motive: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3, he's clueless.
"About what exactly, us attacking? We were told there were intruders down here and sent to dispose of you. You are sadly more capable than expected."

The warden throws an additional stern glare at him.
"You had best spill more, these folk and i are very interested in who sent you and why." He looks at you guys. "Any specific questions aside from those, that you wish to ask this lowlife?"

I personally want to save the asylum from whatever evil is happening.

"We need to return to Fear to get the note, would be safer and easier just to head there. And I think some of us need to rest, if there is a safe spot to go to when we're done with these chaps."

The robed 'prisoner' looks mockingly at Father Burdock.

"I haven't got a clue what you're on abou....AAAH"
Pain: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
A grimace of pain comes upon his face. The warden's face is without mercy and merely showing grim expectation.

"We are taking over the Asylum over time, the patients are to be used as pawns, nobody cares for the mentally ill. We use them before they are cured." He keeps his lips pressed then.

Warden: "Do you lot have something to do with me and the mage-keeper not being able to leave the corridors? This spell isn't over yet."

Roby: "Hmm?...AAAHH....Okay, *wheeze*, there has been tinkering in magics. But that was done by The Father's right hand man, brother Asgar. His magics are potent."

Spell over.

Father Burdock:

<Hey your beardness, did you lot prevail? I perceived some frantic stretching of the legs back here...kukuku...wish i could've seen it down there. Say hi to the two in charge there for me...hehehe.>

GM:

'Yes we did. Again, thank you for the heads up about the attackers. I have to admit it was a far easier battle against them than you.'

Burdock ponders and shakes his head to himself.

"So there's three people in charge that are corrupting this asylum; the head nurse, 'The Father' who is probably the new director, and this brother Asgar person...". Turning to the warden and mage keeper, the dwarf asks, "What can you tell us about these people? And is there a safe place to rest, too? As much as I want to leave this place, there seems to be great evil afoot here as well and I can't conscientiously let this malevonance fester."

Father Burdock:

<Hehehe, they were sending fodder quality. Fodder to buy time, perhaps....or maybe to test your mettle.>

Warden: "I've met the new director briefly during the reorganisation and leave of our former director. The new one gave off no ill intent at the time, but with current situation it could have been keenly masked. As for this 'brother Asgar', this is the 1st time i've heard of him."

Mage-keeper:"The nurse came with forms from time to time, she was at odds with the head sister in west wing. While the head sister is a competent and genuinely caring woman, cold as she may be even for an elf, the nurse gave off this air of 'results over morality'. I suspected she was capable of some minor degree of magic. As for your question of place of rest, i suppose i have some solution." Pushing his spectacles up again on his nose, he motions you to follow him to his room. He rummages through a small cabinet and takes out a scroll.

"Illusion magic, masking the sight of this room as a collapse. With a few extra components, i can stretch its duration a bit. It depends on how long you wish to rest, with three shady figures in power, anything could happen."

All's been pretty quiet aside from that.

Warden: "You lot are looking less tired, a good sign for the ones aiming to bring retribution. A pity i cannot go, no doubt those barriers are still active."

Where are you off to? I heard 2 votes for liberating this place and some sentiment of leaving the place instead, both recent and of earlier. Father Burdock had gotten an indirect lead from the 3 former orderlies back in the tavern, backtracking to the exit isn't difficult either.
