Terakeer
You look good. Just so you're aware, a weapons master is a noble

Taldor

I completed Morkrat's background, actually turning him into a slave of the temple

Background
Born into slavery, Morkrat has been familiar with the whip since the age 4 when he was strong enough to help out in the mine. Knowing nothing but slavery Morkrat excelled when it came to obedience and performing as ordered. It was this willingness to serve that was the reason the Drow owner of the mine selected him to be trained as a pitboss; a slave of a slightly higher station that bossed other slaves around and in return got better living circumstances in the form of an actual, if crappy, bed and better food.

Morkrat once again excelled in his job, growing into his function better and faster than either his master or the chief pit boss suspected. Both were especially delighted by the fact that Morkrat seemed to show no mercy as he punished all equally and only made exceptions if they would benefit the mine in the long run. It wasn't long before they decided to groom him to be the next chief pit boss when the current chief would take his place as the master's right hand in running the master's business outside the mine. Morkrat seemingly didn't care for this further increase in quality of life but was delighted by the recognition he received.

All this ended when the temple of Abraxas demanded it's tithe from the master in the form of a sacrifice of his most prized, but expendable, slave. The master had no choice but to hand Morkrat to the temple.

Morkrat was held together with the other slaves that were meant for sacrifice once all were collected. Many were depressed and cried but Morkrat was stoic, not showing any outward sign of distress. Even when they lead him to the altar for sacrifice he didn't show any emotion. Impressed by this show of mental strength the nobleman in charge of the temple guards halted the ceremony and offered one of his own slaves and some of his own blood in exchange for Morkrat's life.

It was on that day that Morkrat joined the temple guard, surviving a sacrifice ceremony with only the symbol of Abraxus carved in his chest to show for it. His job now was to keep an eye on the other, "normal" temple slaves and to escort priestesses around the city.

Just saw the thread. Any interest in another Drow player? If so What's the current make up? I'll build to match.

Oh, for the record I have played drow before and I've also read all the Drizzt books. Thoroughly enjoyed them.

Andoran

Just put something up, We have a cleric, bodyguard, hobgoblin, and a drow guy, just do what you want though

Looks good morkrat

How about a drow Master summoner? This is Regular drow and not drow nobles, right?

Andoran

Yes

O sweet master summoner is going to be a very nice addition. Also TCG is going to be a nice addition I'm playing lyns game with you and you keep things moving well. The bodyguard is me and I am now officially a black blood oracle of battle. Healing is definitely covered.

This is Tiny COffee Golem

This will be my shell for the master summoner. I may not finish it all today, but I am working on converting it. Hope that's alright.

Dumb question: What's 5th level gold? I cant seem to find it. I may be having a blonde moment.

Its normally 10500 but we get 15500 because were Drow, and drow are just that much better. And we have jewelry.

Shizzle69 wrote:

TY

This is probably as much as I can do today. I gotta run in a second. Hopefully it's enough to be given consideration.

HP rolls
2 1d8 ⇒ 8
3 1d8 ⇒ 4
41d8 ⇒ 5
51d8 ⇒ 6

Also I took two of the Drow noble feats, so Bel is also a Noble. I'll work it into his background. If anyone has a good lead in for him i'd be open to that.

Perhaps I can be a lesser Scion (due to his male-ness) of Zalzara's house if everyone's good with it.

Taldor

HP rolls

21d8 ⇒ 5
31d8 ⇒ 1
41d8 ⇒ 7
51d8 ⇒ 5

EDIT: Not sure on the reroll 1's thing, but I've seen it before in this thread so I'll repeat

reroll 31d8 ⇒ 4

Was the jewelry comment significant or were you just being entertaining?

Andoran

He was just being entertaining.

I previously said that there wouldn't be any male nobles, this is a campaign without them, sorry. But, I will allow you to have somehow proven yourself magically gifted, whereas they masters of sorcere had to let you in, even though you weren't a noble.

No noble traits, sorry.

Gotcha. Would it be cool if I played a female and keep everything else the same? Ive played females before worhout being mysonogistic. Im a gay guy irl. I'll change the name though. Belgraen sounds too male. Perhaps Polgara. Would need to make a new avatar.

Edit: I don't know what monkeygods character is, but if he's male and I'm female perhaps he can by my bodyguard or manservant or what not. If he's cool with that.

This is TCG's conversion of Belgraen to a female character.

Still a work in progress, but you get the gist. I'll wrap it up tomorrow. Heading out to a birthday party now.

If your still there TCG. I believe he originally said a bit before that Drow nobles could only be female and also that they had to have the majority of their levels be in cleric. Doesn't work so well for a master summoner unfortunately.

Here is my submission. This is DarkLightHitomi.

I am using some formatting text that suggested in another thread, looks alright but is a pain to gather all the details meticulously like that.
Currently adding the gear and stuff so will be updating profile as I add bits.

now if only someone was Kiel

I missed that. No worries. I'll change out my feats. I just wanted the extra magic. I'll keep it with Belgraen.

I keep having to change my Avatar so i'm not using someone else's. That'd get confusing with a bunch of posts.

Pretty sure everything is done, I updated BG and such. The character is complete.

Edit; I forgot HP

I think a Master summoner is a very useful PC, for this kind of game.

Zalazra Qlinzra wrote:

I gotcha covered.

They are fantastic multitools. ;-)

So whats Up Tanis? When do you plan on starting?

My sheet is 95% done. Just tweaking a few things, picking feats, etc. my eidolon is going to be a perceptive spy monkey until I reach 8th level when I will make him big enough to ride.

Since I can't take drow noble feats I havent figured out what would be good to take. I've never played a master summoner before. Thoughts anyone?

Andoran

Ok, so I have:
Belgraen,
Terakeer,
Zalazra,
Yasirin,
Naal'suul

I think I will say next monday, although it may change depending on when I finish up some maps...

Also, I've been trying this out lately, where I use minecraft photo's as my maps, it's pretty cool to have a 3-D map, and I already have minecraft, so, if each of you could also post colors you want your figure to be, that would help, thanks!

I will take blue. --Yasirin

Did i not make the cut or did you forget me on that roll call? Just making sure.

Edit: to Belgraen. I enjoyed the greater feint path with my master summoner. Let's you make enemies flat footed to your summons I do believe.

Summons are a full round to cast and I'm pretty sure it's the same with SLA's. Feinting wouldn't do much for that.

Although I could be mistaken. Can you clarify what your strategy was?

Sure. Summoner summons as a standard action by the way. SO I'd summon right next to the guy hopefully flanking with my past summon and if high enough level bringing in a babau. Then just Greater bluff him which apparently doesn't have a range and they are flat footed until my next turn allowing the babau or whatever to get an attack at FF AC.

cool show time

I will take Purple.

Blue please GM

I'll take red.

Interesting, Shizzle. I'll look into that.

DM,
Would it be possible for me to take the noble feats, but not be officially noble?
Basically I just want the spell abilities. I can do without the role play part of nobility. Besides, for males of nobility and non-nobility is more-or-less the same treatment. ;-)

Ok, no worries on the WeaponsMaster thing then, I'll just be a commander in the army if thats ok. My CS is 97% completed, I have 5 more 1st level spells to add into the spell book and then its done. Check it over Tanis and make sure everything looks good and Im correct. Damn, I can't wait for this game to start guys, its going to be awsome...

So far we got our Matron Mother (our Female noble) Her body guard; and Terakeer could be the commander of her army.

Zalazra Qlinzra- Female Noble (I assume a Matron Mother or close to the head of the house?)

Luaediin Or'danel- Zalazra's body guard

Terakeer- Commander of Zalazra's army and one step under Luaediin in 'authority'... The rest would be additions or 'general's in the army I assume? Or maybe one of you guys could be my right hand man/ advisor, having known me since I was put into this house, and one of the few people I trust period? What you guys think, anyone up for it, or does anyones character fit this role? Let me know!

Updated my eidolon and and changed out some gear.

I don't think I(Luaediin) was picked actually. Still waiting to hear from Tanis. I figured I would come with Zalazra to help her with her abysmal HP. I'm not trying to say Tanis did anything wrong I'm cool with it If i was not picked. I just hadn't posted in a bit and didn't know if he thought I had left or something.

I don't care much for the RP junk, I don't have access to quickling information as a PC race, but if you get me that information, I will probably allow you.

Sorry for not posting. Just got back from a conference. It looks like there's still room for a rogue. I can whip my quickling up in about 24 hours, if you'll permit me.

The bestiary has Quicklings at CR 3. http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/fey/quickling
There biggest abilities are 120' base speed and invisibility when not moving.

According to your preference, I will build
1. "as is" from the bestiary OR
2. take a level hit OR
3. reduce move speed a bit, saying she's adolescent and hasn't gotten her full abilities yet OR
4. take the Special abilities in lieu of feats OR
5. any variation you decide on

For backstory and reason to join up, I'd say "Quizzle" has done business with Jarlaxle (or a similar character) and was very impressed, and enjoys the profit. More socially adept then other quicklings, she has decided to sell her unique services to the miscreants of other races. She particularly enjoys the drow's devious plotting. She enjoys their twisted minds almost as much as the profit. Someday she hopes to build a rogue network of her own, and an alliance with a someday profitable drow house would certainly be a great contact.

I will build the character and embellish the backstory with a nod from you.

Andoran

3 CR will count as two levels race levels, so you can have three class level, and it may change depending on play...

Post the feats you want and I will edit them to be a Non-Noble Drow.

My lady Zalazra, Allow me the pleasure of taking the pain others would cause you upon myself. I will not see a drop of your blood spilled while I still Live.

These are the feats in order that I want to take them. Basically I just want the SLA's. We can play the fluff however you want. Perhaps I was once from a noble house that fell a long time ago. Alternately, since I am playing a ChA based caster perhaps I am just gifted thusly. Frankly, I think if we just change the name of the feats it'll fall in line with your view of Drow males. Your call though.

drow noble feats in order:

Drow Nobility
Your blood courses with power, granting you greater
spell-like abilities.
Prerequisites: Able to use drow spell-like abilities, drow.
Benefit: You may use detect magic as a spell-like ability
at will, and add feather fall and levitate to the spell-like
abilities that you may use once each per day. Your caster
level is equal to your character level.

Improved Drow Nobility
Your magical heritage is more potent than that of your
peers, as demonstrated by your superior spell-like abilities.
Prerequisites: Cha 13, Drow Nobility, able to use drow
spell-like abilities, drow.
Benefit: You may use your dancing lights, faerie fire,
feather fall, and levitate spell-like abilities twice per day.
Your darkness spell-like ability instead becomes deeper
darkness, which you may use twice per day.

Greater Drow Nobility
You have mastered the lesser spell-like abilities of the
drow, demonstrating true nobility.
Prerequisites: Cha 13, Drow Nobility, Improved Drow
Nobility, able to use drow spell-like abilities, drow.
Benefit: Your detect magic spell-like ability is now
constant. You may use your dancing lights, deeper darkness,
faerie fire, feather fall, and levitate spell-like abilities at will.

[ooc]Not sure if i'm interested in this last one, but maybe.[/b]

Noble Spell Resistance
Your ascension is complete; you have the spell resistance
approaching that of a demon.
Prerequisites: Cha 13, Wis 13, Greater Drow Nobility,
character level 13th, drow.
Benefit: Your spell resistance is equal to 11 + your
character level.
Special: You receive a +1 circumstance bonus on
Diplomacy and Intimidate checks made against any drow.
