'Suny' |
Suny frowns as she looks about at the situation but nods and does as the party is bid. Climbing into the wagon first.
Marcus Ironskin |
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Marcus contiues to walk with Lilian as she pulls away from him a bit. Unable to put his finger on what is wrong.
"What is is Lilian? Have you seen these men before?
Marcus looks at the wagon as Suny steps into it.
Speak now girl... I fear we have little time.
He stops for a moment as he spoke to Lilian awaiting her reply before getting closer to the wagon.
Lilah |
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Lilah bites her lip, not liking the idea of entering some strange vehicle that might whisk them off to lord only knows where. But it seemed that she didn't have much of a choice unless she chose to abandon her comrades. C'mon now Lilah. Be brave! You can do this!
With a deep breath, she follows Suny into the carriage.
GM of Set |
sorry guys... didnt update on my side. And ausk. No. They havent noticed you
Lillian shakes her head "No. I just feel shaken. Not long ago i was tortured... getting into this carriage is a bit... frightening."
The girl you rescued trembles but still follows your lead. She is terrified. But she seems to trust your judgement

Ausk Swiftstrike |
Ausk sees everyone going into the carriage, and knows that if something goes down there will be little he can do. Instead of causing a scene Ausk begins looking for a way to keep the carriage in sight, and ahead of it so that if it begins traveling he can follow it.
'Suny' |
SUny offers to put her arms around the girl for comfort. "Here.. ye be safe with us..." Then the tanned Elf looks around at the carriage they find themselves in.
"Nuffin' ta' worry about none. Not a'tall..."
I be expectin' Ausk ta' stow away on'a bustle of tha' carriage. (^_~)
Lilah |
Lilah also looks around their carriage. Well, they didn't take our weapons. Which is a really good or a really bad sign.
Perception: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (2) + 14 = 16
GM of Set |
glad you noticed ;) they are rather friendly
The carriage takes off. Ausk tries to keep up, but soon it seems he might lose track of them. Just as the carriage is about to vanish it screetched to a halt....
Those in the carriage suddenly feel they come to a very abrupt stop. You hear the coachman move frim his seat and open the carriage doors. He is cloaked. Can barely see his eyes. Something odd about them
"Log in the road. Will take time to remove it. Stretch your legs. Please do not run... it will not be good for either of us"
One can detect a slight accent to his use of common
Both Lillian and your new human charge leave the carriage. Lillian goes to stand under a tree. Sighing gratefully and stretching he limbs a bit
"This feels better... i always hated travelling by carriage... i prefer walking"
The accent has markings of someone who uses Draconic as a primary language
He has eyes that seem to have traits of a lizzard of some sort

'Suny' |
Perception:1d20 + 12 ⇒ (19) + 12 = 31
Suny follows Lillian out of the carriage, flexing and stretching after sitting cooped up on the bouncing seats. Where Lillian leans against the tree Suny,
Acrobatics:1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
Simply folds and twists until she's doing a hand-stand with her tanned feet resting on the bark of the tree and her hands spread in the loam of the forest floor.
"I in't never bin in a car-ridge a'fore." She says simply.
Lilah |
Perception: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (15) + 14 = 29
Lilah silently follows Suny and Lillian towards the tree. In hushed undertones, she asks, "A-any idea w-what they w-want? One is a l-lizard man."
Ausk Swiftstrike |
Asuk attempts to sneak over near Sunny and talk to them without the coachmen noticing.
Stealth: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (3) + 14 = 17
"Are you all right? We should take out these men while they're distracted."
'Suny' |
Suny yawns and stretches some more, not a care in the world.
Bluff:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
Stealth:1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
"We's okeys fer now. They.. in't seemin' ta' hurt us none..." She whispers back in reply.
Lilah |
Lilah, not trusting herself to be as sneaky as her companions, stands up and moves to stand between the coachmen/guards and Suny, hoping to block their line of sight.
DC10 Aid with +10 stealth makes this an auto-success.
Lilah |
I assume this is happening while they move the logs.
Other than aiding Ausk in hiding, Lilah remains silent, waiting for the carriage to continue to its mysterious destination.
GM of Set |
When everything was settled and the coachman waz certain it was now okay, he returns to those sitting at a tree. After thanking Marcus
"I appreciate the help. Wish we could have met under different circumstances. Now. If you all could please enter again so we can get going. I am in trouble as it is. "

'Suny' |
Awe.. me post got 'et with tha' site crashin'... :(
Suny nods and smiles at the fellow as she bounces aboard the coach,
"That's all okeys! We'll be sayin' how swell it were wif ye helpin' us." (^_^)
Diplomacy:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

You hear but a grunt as he closes the door behind you. Soon you are on your way.
The peasant girl clinging to marcus for dear life
Lillian sitting up and very much like a refined lady. But one could easily see the worry on her face.
After about another hour, your coach finally stops. As you get out, you see a very large obsidian tower.
The coachman looks at you from under his hood "Go on. She is waiting for you..."
If you do approach the large doors of the tower, you see that they are ajar, not completely open, and it seems there is a note on the door

Lilah |
Not knowing much about engineering, Lilah stares up at the large, black tower, wide-eyed. Frowning slightly at the open door, she peers closer at the note to read what it says.
Lilah |
Lilah blinks and then reads the message again, just to make sure she had read it correctly.
"She s-sound...nice?" She didn't have much experience in the matter, but she felt fairly sure people who sent menacing people to drag you off to the middle of nowhere were supposed to be more sinister than the note suggested. She briefly considers asking Lillian and the other new girl if they new some 'N' person, but decided against it.
Instead, she hesitantly opts to push the door open a bit further. At least enough to have a look inside the giant monolith.
Perception: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (14) + 14 = 28
Ausk Swiftstrike |
Ausk slips off the bottom of the carriage and makes sure to stay out of the coachman's sight.
K. Engineering: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Stealth: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (10) + 14 = 24
Ausk almost whistles at the fact that the tower is made of adamantium, but he doesn't knowing better than to give away his position.
'Suny' |
Suny carefully peers in around the edge of the door.. before looking back out at the coach man.
"Here.. is ye bringin' us ta' right place...?" She asks, puzzled.
Lilah |
Lilah silently points out the spiders to everyone. "M-maybe there are b-b-bigger ones?" She draws her bow in preparation. "T-torches?" She may have excellent night vision, but she found others often didn't. Plus in her experience spiders weren't a big fan of fire. Hopefully not too many things inside are flammable...
'Suny' |
Suny gasps, "Ye cna't be goin' throwin' fire all'a 'bout tha' place!" She peers again into the interior.
"We jus' has ta' be, y'know, slow an' careful an' be takin' our time with... things...."
Perception:1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18
'Suny' |
Suny does nod at Marcus' question, but she points into the dark room,
"I think there be somat in there. Like Lilah says, we should be goin' slow an' lookin' fer stuff..."
Suny moves to open the doors fully.. to let more light and air into the space.
'Suny' |
Shielding her gaze with her hands, Suny 'Ooos' and 'Ahhhs' at Marcus' display of physical prowess.
Lilah |
Wasn't thinking of throwing fire around so much as putting torches to webs if need be. Still possibly very destructive depending on what the insides are made of though. Although given that we were brought here under duress, we may not care. *goes to check alignment*
Lilah chews on her lower lip as her eyes dart about. She mostly focuses on the inside of the tower though, where she suspects large spiders are hoping for a tasty meal.
'Suny' |
Suny continues to watch Marcus, grinning brightly at her companion's freedom of motion through the air. Standing below, completely oblivious to what ever dangers lurk above.
(^_^)
*Hugz Lilah* I know ye weren't thinkin' nuffin' nasty or such. Throwin' fire at critters can be a right sense makin' thing t'do.
Marcus Ironskin |
Marcus hover for a moment and stares in awe of what he sees. He then fly's back down.
"So something tore a giant hole into this tower. This is quite impressive since its made of Adamantine. Perhaps we should clear out the cobwebs and spiders and search this place."
'Suny' |
At work.
Suny has an idea. She scampers off and finds a longish stick/branch, preferably with some leaves on the top.
Then she returns and begins to 'sweep' the webs. As the amount of webbing increases, she more begins to 'wrap' the webbing up..... like a giant, white candy-floss.
(^_^)
Lilah |
if we're waiting on me, I'm not sure what info you're referring to...
Lilah continues to stand ready with her bow, watching the spiders.
Random note, since our guards have left, there isn't actually anything keeping us here. Also, not sure that we can actually take on a beast that rips through adamantine
GM of Set |
my bad... well. Just to make the scene up again: broken book cases, chars and other decorations clutter the floor. Cob webs on the walls and any other incline it can be. A stairway that leads to the next level And 3 large spiders eyeing you from their corners. Now back to the party...
