The Council GM |
Alright guys, SO, due to the amount of depth I want this to have, the length of some of my posts might get a little... Lengthy *like the opening post*
It's ok if at the moment it becomes tl;dr, just try to keep to a post a day for everyone so we keep moving along.
We are going to have the max I ever dreamed of in this campaign- f+~~ing 8!!!!! SO, length will be done to ensure things don't get too crazy xD

1 person marked this as a favorite. |
As an Oracle I have the Misfortune Special ability.
GM: What is your rule on using it on PC's? Aka, Allowing them to Reroll things. I know they have already failed so it can't be used in this incident.
Also, Party as a whole. If you wish it to be used on you, Please alert me so I can do so before results are revealed.

The Council GM |
Hmmm, if it forces them to take the second roll, worst that happens is it fails again vs. it passes, so yeah, I'm down with it!
If you want to role play it as a your character saving another without them asking, I'd say your at perfect liberty to do so.
Aside from that, I see no issue with it at all- you are healer, essentially team doctor- your medical opinion should be taken in high regard.
The Council GM |
Yes!
In combat it will be easier to manage since move actions are specifically limited, but you guys don't *actually* know one another amongst the circle yet, so go ahead and reveal a little bit of your power
I'll open the gates on posting a TINY BIT since god damn it I want to start so bad, lmfao, just don't get carried away xD

Hope no one minds, but I took the liberty to make a Pinterest Board.
If any are interested, PM me your email, and I'll add you to the editing list.

Okay, If people wish I can run a loot/party fund/group purchases page.
GM mind clarifying exactly what situation we are in? We still chained up or no, and these ape things are the friend foe, not to be tangled with as we are herded along to this mother.
The Council GM |
Ah, yes, I have wrote a lot in the short amount of time we've started, so let me re-cap.
1) The Apes are your friends, I believe one of you *winks at McGibel* is able to speak to them <3
2) You are no longer chained, The Speaker removed them with a snap not too long ago
3) I do not recommend wrangling with the apes, but it *is* sandbox, and I mean that to almost the fullest extent of the group's capabilities.
4) I rushed that last bit on purpose- you guys are doing absolutely TOO WELL so far at meeting the GM's expectations. The Speaker is designed as a maniac a&+%#$!, and, well, he HAS had quite a few teams exactly like you guys, so no worries there- he believes you will fall to the winds and he will have to start again within the next year. xD (as a further inside to what is going on inside the Speaker's head)
Lord Perpireen McGibel |
As my PC has his stuff I will not be taking the 1000gp, GM
He has spent it all already
And a Fay Here, kind of air/wind/water/earth/magic all rolled into one.
The Council GM |
To McGibel-
LOL
Telula- absolutely! I was just about to PM you about that xD PM me your profession, it's somewhat important for future "quests" and sidelines.
Someone else has asked, so I wanted to make sure I said it here- you DO have your gear on you as a final parting gift from the Speaker. Including your great clubs, armor, yaks, etc. <3
Telula, The Lightning Bearer |
I still have a little bit of confusion about the gold. Is it the worth of the gear we start with, or is it money we're going to spend in this town we're entering?
EDIT: I only ask so I can gear appropriately.
The Council GM |
Ah, yes, I see the confusion, thank you Telula.
Your starting gear is what you would have had with your max gold available for your class- i.e. Oaken has his great club, Sealith has nothing because she is a tri cursed bad ass, Lord McGibel has 0 gold as it was already, as discussed, spent during his Aristocrat days in the Council's employ on his very special blade.
I let the equipment requirements be very unstrict in the beginning, as I want you all to be who you are. So, if you were to say, have 350 gp worth of items on you and that makes sense for your character, I'm totally fine with that. Obviously Sealith having 50 healing potions on her would be insane, for example. Her having two potions and a healer's kit, however, fits.
This 1,000 GP each is for the actual Development Project. I don't want to go into too much what is planned for you, alone, here in 42, BUT, you will need it assumingly.
Consider this 1,000 GP like when James Bond is given cash to buy his passports, ammo, equipment specific to the mission. He already has his pistol and full on tux, but maybe he needed special goggles, to rent a car, etc.
In other, MUCH simpler words for clarity- you all were just given your mission budget for your adventures of this part xD
The Council GM |
One last thing before I disappear for a bit-
You guys are all, essentially, from the Empire of Dominorum.
Now that a vast majority of my lore regarding it, at least its present lore, is finished, feel free to message me your email and I can send you the lore you all would definitely know in regards to the empire. Took me a bit longer than I expected to edit it xD

In order for the Angel-Oak tree to be the size it is, with the perfectly groomed and trimmed branches of the jacarandas surrounding it above the door, it would have cost thousands upon thousands of man (or animal) hours in the initial stages.
Based on the height of the tree, even if magically altered on its life span, it has existed as is for at least one hundred years, possibly more.
The gardens, too, are somewhat aged- their colors are alarmingly bright, meaning that either magic amplifies them or each season their new seeds are "breeded" as stronger and stronger, an almost plant-based eugenics.
It is likely the gardens are as old, if not most likely older, as the Angel-Oak tree itself.
Just easier to post it here to not interrupt the flow of things. Your Kn Nature *and* profession roll give you more than enough power to know, for the most part, what's going on here.
Lord Perpireen McGibel |
the three want to a frat party Friday night, and Zita, Batta, gamma, feta house, Beer chuging and strip pocker, could be they will be hung over till Monday. hehe
