It really just depends on the way the race shapes up. I certainly don't want to hijack anyone's race, but a sub-race is a possibility. Or, if the race builders are into having a streak of uncontrollable passion in their race, I could kick some in.
Otherwise, I'm making storm dragons. A whole race of baby Aningas.

Aninga, your a jerk[.] (Under 'other typography')
I think that it should be split evenly. Zanthreair, you and I could split the remainder. For the benefit of balance, Kelnet might want it that way. Or, he could weigh the amount of power put in and have that be a bigger part of the race. Similar to Orregr's force of will (+2 to will saves, or something like that). Then Zanthreair's influence would get two traits, or something.

Oh, the destruction. The "[.]" is supposed to represent satire. So, I was just being facetious. Messing up everyone's stuff.
OK cool.
I'm [pretty illiterate] so those tells go over my head. All good.
Ryazan The Burning Light |
well, he intends for any race he creates to be justice and righteousness incarnate or, close to it. keepers of good/truth/justice/insert cliche goodygoody name here/ that keep the choatic/evil things at bay for others, and he doesn't want chances of that going wrong so.. he plans to take care of that himself, but for now, he will probably just continue forcing his will upon his little part of the world.
Sheher |
Sheher's just trying to have some influence on taming whatever destructive impulses the new creatures will have.
Is Shylar still with us?
Kelnet, Broker of the Gods |
Finally back home and able to post. Give me a little bit to type up the fix. Oh, and sorry about missing Sheher's contribution to the race. I was in a rush to try and get something in before heading to the airport. Where my devices couldn't get on to the wi-fi and my phone died. Like, mot ran out of power, but died. Ded. D-E-D.
Browman |
Also, do you guys want a fully statted out race? I can totally do that, but for some reason I was thinking just a really cool desciption. Either way, I'll get to work on the racial stats just in case and do the post write up at the same time.
For now just a description and type (Fey, Giant, monstrous humanoid) should be good. the details can be worked out later.
Browman |
Age 1, Turn 3
Sheher 1d20 ⇒ 17 power 2d6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (1, 5) + 1 + 2 = 9
Zanthreair 1d20 ⇒ 15 tie 1d10 ⇒ 9 power 2d6 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (6, 3) + 2 + 1 = 12
Shelayyen 1d20 ⇒ 2 power 2d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (1, 1) + 1 + 1 = 4
Ryazan 1d20 ⇒ 11 power 2d6 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (2, 3) + 2 + 1 = 8
Shylar 1d20 ⇒ 7 power 2d6 + 18 ⇒ (2, 3) + 18 = 23
Kelnet 1d20 ⇒ 16 tie 1d10 ⇒ 6 tie 1d12 ⇒ 12 power 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 3) + 6 = 13
Fenii 1d20 ⇒ 15 tie 1d10 ⇒ 7 power 2d6 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3, 2) + 2 + 1 = 8
Kawliga 1d20 ⇒ 13 power 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (1, 6) + 7 = 14
Aninga 1d20 ⇒ 9 power 2d6 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3, 2) + 2 + 1 = 8
Orregr 1d20 ⇒ 16 tie 1d10 ⇒ 6 tie 1d12 ⇒ 3 power 2d6 + 1 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (4, 4) + 1 + 2 + 1 = 12
Better than last turn but still below average I think for the 2d6
Turn 3 order
Sheher
Kelnet
Orregr
Zanthreair
Fenii
Kawliga
Ryazan
Aninga
Shylar

Hey Browman I imagined the volcano being next to the sea so the magma would interact with the water to create Obsidian. Right now it seems landlocked.
Sheher |
Done. Intruding on the domains of the sea gods :p. Shelayyen shouldn't mind. Anninga might.

@Kelnet. I was hoping that you would take each trait and use it for a racial trait. Example: Stout people from the ground = Dwarves with stability trait.
I would like for you to make the stat block, but take your time. That way there really is no actual influence and the neutral god of fairness really designs the race in fairness.
Edit: 2 points!? OUCH! But, I had a pretty even roll last time. So, if the gods favor me, I should have a pretty sweet roll next time.

The stat block will probably look very different depending on if you want this to potentially be a PC race or not
Shelayyen |
For sure. That's up to him. I am thinking of at least making a subrace off of it, that might be a pc race. Also, I want to make an avatar from one. Not doing much this turn, though. 4[!?]
The thing about the stat block is it really defines the race.
Is it a PC race? As a giant, I would think not. They are more like lizard titans.
What are it's strong abilities?
Does it have auras?
Without looking, I think there were at least two gods who wanted it to be community oriented in some way. So, how do those communities work? You put it well, Browman.
"The gods debate the merits of creating a lesser thinking race. Spending untold eons debating what traits such a race should have and who would aid this process."
All of it takes time. I have no problem waiting. I would like kelnet (if not too much work) to actually build the race. But, that's just because it's fun. This is just a PbP game. I don't want to demand so much from his life when I don't even know him.

If the primal get a stat block they will definitely show up at some point in the pathfinder campaign that will be run in the setting we end up with.
