Blackjack thinks really hard about how much he'd like to stab a jester.

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

Oh yeah. That. Though technically if he had purely mental actions to take (like rolling a Knowledge check) he could totes do that.

Init:

Blackjack (15)
Special Jester (12)
Psykoblade (10)
Jester (9)
Jester (7)
The Dapper Slapper (4)

The special jester remembers he has little dust mites floating around, and directs them to attack..

Two try to Grapple Slapper.

2d20 ⇒ (3, 12) = 15

But fail.

The other two more toward Psykoblade.

Then it swoops down to attack Psykoblade.

EAGLE CLAWWWWWW: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (1) + 17 = 18

Sorta. the two on the ground is in front of you, and the special one is floating above them. No flanking, and you can back up safely.

The odd jester strikes Psykoblade with a mighty strike his blood oozing out he parries and stabs another as they seek to end the somber hero and just as the dust covered assailaint descends a current jumps from Psykoblade blinding the Special Jester causing him to miss while the previous one gets a shocking surprise!

Psykoblade grins dodging the enemy as they came closer and his own sparks using electrolysis to render the stench inert. This vile cretin deemed itself to hurt innocents! Waves could be loaded but he was unsure how hurt the creature was. No.. it was time to use Friction, there was no time to hesitate!

Dropping Waves to his side Psykoblade drew Friction in a flourish and lanced the blade towards the Special Jesters HEART! " Hear the roaring Storm of Justice! Taste it's swift Lightning and rue your existence in Abaddon! "

His blades fused into once Electricity coursing through its every fiber as it heats up.

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

Right-o.

The special jester explodes in a crackle of electricity, nothing left of it but a pile of dust (though you get the feeling it would have ended up that way regardless of how it was killed).

Its two comrades try to avenge it.

Jester 1: 3d20 ⇒ (15, 11, 12) = 38

Hrmm.... See this is where it gets weird UNLIKE before here there were two attacks there are enough that parrying becomes weird. Do I get to parry and attack that hit.. or Just one of the first ones?

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

Parry/Riposte doesn't really work very well in PBP, since it must be declared before the attack roll is made. Given that, you would probably only really use it on the fist attack per round I imagine.

Male Half- Elf Vigilante(Warlock) 4/ Fighter (Trench Fighter)4 | HP 35/52| AC 24 T 17 FF 18| Fort +7 Ref +11 Will +3 | CMD 22 | Init +8 | Perception +4

So what do you want to do? Unlike normal you would generally know the enemies attack bonuses and plan accordingly. Ah well the issue of multiple attack creatures.

Fort Save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

I'm gonna say you'd have to pick an attack and kinda stick with it. EX these guys' attacks are Bite, Claw 1, Claw 2. In that order. Which would you want to try and parry every round?

Difficult to handle for new creatures though. If we weren't doing a Playtest I'd probably change it to work more like Snake Style (which can work retroactively).

So go even more general for unknown creatures? Most accurate attack, perhaps?

Male Half- Elf Vigilante(Warlock) 4/ Fighter (Trench Fighter)4 | HP 35/52| AC 24 T 17 FF 18| Fort +7 Ref +11 Will +3 | CMD 22 | Init +8 | Perception +4

Yeah either the Most accurate.. or the Least accurate or the Most Devastating (if it has Rider-effects) Stuff like that. Also in retrospect I forgot during the Efreeti battle that I had temp HP... It mattered little but I guess I could have gotten another round of attacks. Ah well

Psykoblade weathers the onslaught of attacks a current linking to the one strike that connected.

The Slapper whacks one of the dust bunnies, but his attack has absolutely no effect, merely knocking it back for a moment.

You can stop your full attack after the first attack and move if you wish. These are invulnerable.

Roasting thier boss Psykoblade narrows his eyes at the other two Jesters. Friction heats up as the power of his gift courses through it. In his other hand he forms his namesake and unleashes a flurry of Steel and Lightning.

Ready to Parry the Bite, If I drop one take the rest to the other. If So I gain enough panache to both Parry and Riposte. The Psykoblades are against touch.

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

Friction decapitates the first Jester, and then the Psykoblade severely damages the second.

It attempts to retaliate.

Combat over. Send out the clowns.

The lightning bolts strike into the mound of vegetation, and crackle over the mound's form. It begins glowing faintly, its vegetation looking more healthy.

The glow fades sightly when Waves blasts it the first time, but the glowing appears to have absorbed any of the damage the bullet may have otherwise dealt to the mound.

It releases a faint puff of yellow spores when the bullet tears into it.

The second bullet misses.

It appear to have some form of damage reduction Waves does not overcome, and is not harmed by your lightning, to put it mildly.

The latter, though its DR seems pretty hefty.

I actually didn't pick this specifically to make Mystic Bolt useless, but it was a good fit for a sewer monster (didn't wanna use Otyughs), and might as well see how you fare against something like this anyway.
