33 damage total Nice... he almost sliced me in two.

Female Orc

@well, turgrim I think you are on negatives, dying but not gone. If only there was a cleric only a five foot step away. Hold off the reroll until we see what happens. Remember you are not dead until negative your CON.
@mogwag, you were lucky, for a given value of lucky. Below average damage. Time for some healing? Positive energy burst?
@anol, you are up and can contribue without direct combat. I have been botting you but feel free to take over. Since your character needs a 20 to hit the giant, due to in combat and cover, I thought aiding malgrim to hit (you need to roll a ten after mods) was wise.
@runt, hit the giant when you can. I assumed you delayed since there was no hit roll and so on.

Draxia hrumphs at the sounds of battle and turns from her investigation. The cave would have to wait, as she knew her companions probably sought a swift death at the hand of a blade.

So with those thoughts in her head she rushed up next to Runt and looked at them.

"Really shouldn't you have these peons dead and bleeding already. I mean to pull me away from my own investigation in the Larder makes me quite angry. Now if you would step aside I can gladly give a found farewell to these pathetic creatures and then we can behead the damned hag" She spat angrily and with out much care for the state of her allies.

Round 9

well you were lucky with those two 19 in a row..

Mogwag with a few quick words of power started to Concentration: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18 and release the CMW: 2d8 + 4 ⇒ (8, 6) + 4 = 18's healing power into his body

Ha Much better ! he simply said

My original attempt was a 19 total to hit without charge benefits, I'll go ahead and make another post for now so that I'll not be holding up any longer, would have had my post up earlier but today has been quite the day.
[ultra delayed Round 8 for Runt]
"You want me to attack the hag? THEN I WILL MAKE A PATH" Runt roars as she attempts to bury her great axe into the hill giant not caring much for where exactly the axe buries itself on the giant.

Attack on Giant: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13
Damage: 3d6 + 13 ⇒ (3, 4, 5) + 13 = 25

Ouch... heres hoping I get my 19 total instead >_<!

Female Orc

I have just read my posts, and there may be some confusion.
The party took the following damage in the last round
turgrim took 21 points
mogwag took 33 points.

I used turgrims name instead of mogwags at one point. Excitement over the critical I guess.

waiting for anols action.

Hp 40/40 AC 19 / T 13 / FF 15 (+8 Perc, -1 Init, Fort +3 Ref +1, Will +5)

Attack: 1d20 + 8 - 4 ⇒ (5) + 8 - 4 = 9 Not sure where you got that second -4 from...

Female Orc

-4 from shooting into combat, -4 from cover. One can be disposed of by precise shot feat.

Female Orc

Mogwag, concentration DC is 15 + 2/level, making the DC for CMW 19 (15 + 4). So unfortunately you lose your spell.

really? damned.

ah it happens. You should see me in another game I'm in. I am a sneaky, halfling rogue, and I just made a sequence of rolls none of which was over 5. Sigh.

Perception Amarog: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19

Female Orc

Warrok, this place is about as bad as you can imagine. A series of ropes hang from the ceiling, with large hooks at the ends. On some of the hooks are dead animals, orcs, goblins and sundry others. The smell is bad, but not as bad as you think it shshould be. The room is also much cooler than the rest of the cave system.

The voices come from some cages at the back of the cave. In them are several figures, huddled down. One of them says something to the others and stands.

very bad orcish:
Hey big chopper fella. Help us and we give much shiny to you. Chop chop.
He is human, it seems.

Another two figures get up to the bars. One of them gives the speaker a long suffering look, as the other one speaks. This is an orc.

sorry about the humy, but we could use the help. I am maul warsinger, skald of the bearclaw. My companions are Baldwin Cooper, (indicating the human who spoke) and godspeaker Murphy. We have been in desperate straits for a few days now.

Female Orc

Malgim strikes the hill giant. He moves five feet along, edging towards flanking.
lets take this grettark (goblin for big stupid oaf, but nastier) down

Runts brother vanishes into the mist. The hill giant, unaware of his isolation, roars at the party.

Well Mogwag in completely intimidate that is for sure . It is his turn to act?

the DC is your level plus wisdom bonus plus ten. Every five it succeeds by extends the duration 1 round, min of one round.

You're up. Party actions now. Remember -2 to all attacks, skills or saves if you are demoralized. Warrok and animals not affected.

You do realize that with all of the Ogres kill, the Hagg on the run we pretty much won. You should consider for the Wolftooth Clan? he tells him

Anol sends another volley to distract the giant.

If Mogwag mentioning flanking is applicable then that is an 18... here's hoping!

Runt snarls as she shifts her stance into something ever so slightly more defensive before raising her axe to strike at the Hill Giant once again in hopes of finally cutting the beast down so that she might finally get a chance to make good on her promise to the hag.

[ooc] Attacking obviously and activating Guarded Stance with my move action to raise Runt's AC to a whopping 15! heh...

Round 9

Seeing his allies miss the Hill giant Mogwag was faced with a rather difficult decision as he was the only one to hit with any consistency the giant. In the end with everything, including his life hanging by a thread he decided to trust his instincts and once more renewing his attack, fighting Defensively, in order to shake the feeling

Arcane Strike (swift), Flanking, Fighting def, shaken (3rd)

Falchion : 1d20 + 10 + 3 + 2 - 4 - 2 ⇒ (16) + 10 + 3 + 2 - 4 - 2 = 252d4 + 13 ⇒ (4, 3) + 13 = 20

Warrok observes the prisoners for a few moments, as he hears the sounds of battle and the shout of the giant, not being sure should he run back to help his kin or to further examine these prisoners.

Amarog growls at them.

"A bearclaw alongside humans? Hrmph, why I not surprised? Tell orc, why I should not cut you and the human dogs down where you stand, and not waste time with you?"

Warrok firmly grips his falchion as he stands in a fighting stance in front of the orc.

Female Orc

The orc looks at warrok. what have I done to anger you, wolftooth. I've never even met you, and I am aware of no quarrel between us. And if you refer to the recent war...the wolftooth won from memory. These two also have no argument with you, as far as I know. But I suppose you do great honor to the wolftooth by threatening prisoners.

Female Orc

Murphy says in fluent orcish maul, let us not start a new battle
He looks at warrok and says I see you are a druid, warrior. May we have your name?

Female Orc

The hill giant flicks a look back, noticing for the first time that he was alone. All of his allies were died or fled. For the first time you see uncertainty on his face. Then a terrible resolve.

he strikes at runt and mogwag
greatsword: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (3) + 16 = 19 at mogwag

Turgrim expires. The last of his blood is spilled out onto the stone floor by Runt's brother. He is dead. Minus 17 HP, 16 CON score.

Female Orc

turgrim, I may have missed it but why are you dead? You took 48hp, (27 and 21) leaving you on minus 5. It has been three rounds, so you are now minus 8. Not a good position, but not yet fatal. If I have missed some damage, fair enough, but I don't your written off just yet.

Not to be a penny pincher, but how does the orc know Warrok is of Wolftooth? Unless we carry some marks of the tribe, which then again is understandable lul

After hearing the words of the orc, Warrok loosens his stance a little, his mind diverted at the battle in the tunnel.

"My name... Warrok, druid of the Wolftooth tribe. And you are right Bearclaw, one should not threaten those weak enough to get caught by foolish ogres."

He turns his head towards the tunnel, the battle rage still strong in his head.

"Clan is fighting as I waste time here."

He looks towards his wolf, then orders him to join the fight again.

"Go my friend, bring them to the tooth!"

Handle Animal: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16

Female Orc

turgrim:
. As far as I can see you have been hit twice, once for 27 points and once for 21. But I admit I may have missed another damage somewhere. If your character is dead, then you of course will have the option of creating a new character.

. Warrok. He made an assumption due to 1/ your obvious hostility, 2/ the fact they are currently in wolftooth territory and 3/your clan accent and markings.
