Dodge, duck, dive, dip and dodge, and you make it to the other side avoiding the webs. Now you just need to figure out how to get all the clumsy people across.

while Archaemedes helps Phillip get out of the webs, Trib turns and begins to inspect the door for traps and locks. if clear he then opens the door and looks inside M16.

Trib will take 20 (34) on perception for the door, and if locked 20 (39) on the lock. Once he opens the door he will take 10 (24)looking around.


With the web burned out of the way, Phillip can scramble out of the room past the door.

Looking into the next room, you realize it is trapped.

Of course the problem is staying out of that room means you are in the webs. Kinda tricky.

Will need reflex saves while you try to disarm the trap.

I suppose that will do it (this module has a bad habit of putting in traps without them being statted as traps).

"Oh I can contact my chef again. Don't you ever buy rations? I'm not running an Inn here. " then after getting the exasperated look off his face "Quit over spider? Sad. Oh well I did have some people chance by looking to investigate the monastery, and I told them to hold on since I already had a team on it. They can join you I suppose. Might mean the job gets done faster. "

At which point new characters can introduce themselves and you all can go back to breaking heads and looting things.

Looking up to the big man, he pulls out a chair for each of them climbing on the one chair, standing, so he's not quite so low to the ground. He sticks his hand out so the swordsman can shake it. Oy, Tramaine, me names Tribim, pleasure ta meet ya. Why don't you have a seat and I's'l explain it." he then sits down across from the ex-soldier.

"See, 'air was this monastery, eventually it and tha monks in it went all evil, and they started ta do some really bloody well nasty stuff, yeah. So's all the blokes at wanted ta stop em, you knows, kings an dukes an earls an such, gathered an army an placed tha monastery under siege. Well just when tha siege engines about tore tha walls down, so's they could enter, tha monastary bloody well blew up, but you see's it didn't really blow up cause every now and again it reappears an bad things start ta happen again."

Trib points over to the Duke "So's tha Duke 'ear asked for some blokes ta come sort it out, but tha clock is tickin', if ya get me meanin', cause it could disappear again any moment with no forewarnin'"

Stopping for moment he points out his two companions, "Meself, an 'prayin' Chef Adey an Archaemedes 'tha bomb' Falco just got out, We lost one fella in a fight and a sorceress an a swashbuckler cause they didn't like spiders." he shrugs his shoulders, "What are ya bloody well gonna do, yeah?" Pointing to the other two, "These two blokes I don't know from beans, no offence, you's seem competent enough," turning to Ravarel and Lalali-Re, then back to Tramaine. "so's you three blokes'll replace tha folks we lost."

He continues, "Now we've been through what I's would guess is about a third or maybe a half, heck might be a bloody well fourth of the first floor, it don't make a lot of sense all tha time. Most of tha traps are pretty standard, though we did find this one buggered room tha just about kilt me, we left it alone, if'n any of you's consider yerself a trap expert we's'l take ya there an you's can take a crack at it. yeah." Trib stop speaking for a moment, then shrugs and goes on.

"As fer tha occupants, tha monks have become like ghosts, but reals enough when ya whack em. but they just don't die, they's bloody well disappear. Everything else in there seems like time was standin' still till tha bloody thing reappeared. We got sick people, villagers we believe in an infirmary. Goblins livin in one room, next ta orcs or fish guys livin in a fountain in another. Kilt one thing we think was a bloody demon. It don't make no sense at all, 'cceptin' tha undead in the cemetery, 'air right where you's think they would be, yeah. But 'air it is, and I suppose we's are goin back in ta tha buggered place first thing tomorrow. OH and tha loots not bad, but I don't think we's has hit tha mother load, yet, if ya catch me meanin'".

Trib hops down off the chair, to head to bed, but he stops and turns around to see if anyone has any questions.
