Hey guys! Just posting to let you know, I'm without electricity for the next couple of days, so I won't be able to post. I'll try and get something up at least before the big holidays, but I might also be a bit scarce then.

There is a rumor that Space Santa has been spotted near the Exodus!
A red space ship pulled by mythical 'Space Deer' and that his ship was laden with gifts!
After waking you find a specially wrapped and designated gift at the foot of your bunk. The garish red and green only led to the urge to rip the gift open.
Tujonvrek finds himself with new Ember Flame Doshko! When he activates it, its flames are a red and green flare. A little tag says that once a day, he can grant himself a second chance to swing his mighty weapon at his foes! (1/day Re-roll any attack roll)
Molly Bakir finds herself with a some specialized goggles (think of the pirate queen from force awakens) that when she puts them on when piloting grant her a insight into her piloting! Little overlays suddenly appear calculating new possible flight routes! (When piloting, you gain a circumstance bonus of +1 to pilot checks in hostile environments)
Bishop finds himself with a little necklace trinket that when focused upon it, is able to store a single charge of any spell you have knowledge of. Allowing you dispense when in need! (When you rest, you may store a spell in the necklace, this does not consume a spell slot. As a swift action you may release the spell.)
Jacob found a new token that can be attached to his lapel. When he clicks it on, he feels himself be much more savvy. (His online vid presence is beginning to spread, at least upon the Exodus. When interacting with others he gains a circumstantial diplomacy bonus of +1)
Reskk, even for all of his technical know how, finds himself unwrapping a gift with a new personal computer, that was customized just for his ysoki biology. He finds that he can work much faster with this new device then his previous one! (Reskk gains a circumstancial +1 bonus to his Computer checks when interacting with foreign technology or hacking.)
Caleb, despite his questioning, opens his own garish gift. And within it was a box that contained a curiously festive Thunderstrike Pulse Gauntlet. It has a mysterious quality to it that feels like it was fated. (When attacking with this weapon, you have a 15% chance of it ignoring missed rolls and hitting anyways.)
I hope you all enjoy your gifts! Even though not everyone celebrates Christmas, I enjoy giving gifts to my players in the spirit of the holiday!

Edit: Doubled the shields and added mark 6 defenses for good measure. Next tier I'm thinking of shaving some off the defenses and adding a launcher to each of the side arcs.

I considered seeing to the retrofit, but I forgot Tujon saw to that. I think that getting TL6 for a ship with our speed might be a bit much for the moment, though, since with Reskk's help I can get it to 15 speed, and that outruns all but the fastest missiles. Thoughts?
I'm pretty flexible as I haven't really had time to crunch numbers on starship combat. That said, based on what I've played so far, I think the speed boost is definitely the engineer's "go to" ability for the first few levels, but eventually I'm definitely going to need to start doing more with diverting to shields. But for now... focusing on speed should be fine, particularly to the extent it helps us keep our guns in the proper arc.
Interviews slamming me! Again, sorry for the slow pace! My last interviews so far are slotted for tomorrow. So things should start calming down a bit!

I want to comment again that it's not personal to Tujon's player. Different motivations for their service, different methodologies.
Sign of good role play when the other side can't separate the characters emotion from what they believe the player must be feeling. I will take the worry as a supreme compliment.

LOL. I had a PF summoner who only cared for her eidolon (looked like a sea serpent). GM started throwing in a ton of cloaca jokes
Anyway, my reading of Vinsonner’s last post is that we’re still working with loot and treasure, but now that we’re level 2, anything that has an item level/tier of 1 is free. Is that right?
Reskk, you are correct. Anything of Tier 1 is free and deemed "requisition" for the crew. Anything of the same tier or higher is gonna cost ya.

Also, picking up an azimuth laser pistol, azimuth laser rifle, 3 smoke grenades, 3 sticky bomb grenades, and 3 frag grenades.
With my armor and my doshko that places me at my 6 bulk limit before hitting encumbered.

While checking equipment and items that might be of use, I realized that Caleb cannot actually use the thunderstrike pulse gauntlet (his Christmas gift) effectively, as he is not proficient with advanced melee weapons.
Other than that, let me check what tier-1 stuff he will be requisitioning and I will get back to you. They will probably include a few augmentations so as to start portraying Caleb's adaptive self-upgrading nanotech.
A heads up, but I seem to be randomly and rather often getting logged out, thus being unable to see notifications about new posts and such. Anybody else experiencing this?
