The tunnel goes down for what feels like 50 feet...
With Demitri's light guiding the way, the party emerges into a wide room supported by four wide pillars of stone. The ceiling arches above in a dome approximately 20 feet high. The walls are lined with skeletons caked into the mud—human bones mostly, but here and there smaller bones might be from halfings, or perhaps children. Fifteen-foot-square pits sit to the east and west, each filled with a large heap of hundreds of bones. To the south, a crude hole has been gouged into the wall, providing access to a tunnel.

Everyone but Ortik notices several intact skeletons in the bone pits--the western one holds six human skeletons, lying down. The eastern one contains the skeleton of some large creature.
The *RATTLING* of bones fills the room as the skeletons begin to arise!

As Karri finishes her spell she reaches into herself and draws forth an chitin covered chittering creature. She throws the fist sized beetle forward and it grows in size until it is the size of a healthy dog. The thing turns towards the swarm of skeletons and in an angry buzzing of delicate black insect-wings charges towards them. As it moves it's jaws come open revealing a glowing red mass-the light illuminating the warrens as it blurs past.
Summon a Fiendish Fire Beetle, it charges towards the lil' skellies. (Lyla, they should stay nicely grouped for your grenade ;) )
Attack+Charge: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 3 + 2 = 15 for Damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
The scarred girl herself moves picks her way down the earthen stairs.

The fire beetle launches itself at the skeleton at the bottom of the stairs, but its pincers sink into the rusted chain shirt its wearing. The impact makes the skeleton stagger!
The skeleton retaliates, swiping at the beetle with its two claws!

The skeleton's claws rake across the beetle's carapace, tearing it asunder and killing it. Sorry Karri. :(
The remaining skeletons move up the stairs. Three of them move to engage Nalun while two attack Demitri--only one of them is able to claw at Demitri while two strike at Nalun.
The third skeleton moving leaves itself open for an attack from Nalun!

Unfortunately, when you had the beetle charge, it reduced the creature's AC to 10.
But it turns out you're right on the damage. Whoops.

As it turns out, the beetle wasn't quite dead as it manages to lash out with its pincers! It fells the second skeleton attacking Demitri with a well-placed bite to the femur!
Nalun's skill with a falchion shows with one skeleton being rattled to the point of near-destruction, and the other being shattered into pieces!

Lyla runs down the stairs past Ortik, Karri and Demitri; she looks to her right and notices that Nalun needs little help to dispatch the small skeletons; she stops by his side, leaning against a column, and decides to tackles the big monster instead. The halfling swiftly prepares a bomb and throws it against the large skeleton, using the column as protection and covering her ears as she watches the bomb explode. "... and there you have it!"

Lyla's bomb bounces off the floor and explodes in the big skeleton's face, leaving scorch marks on the yellowed bones of its skull!
The skeletal beast claws its way up from the east bone pit and lumbers toward the halfling, shouldering up against the column she's standing by. With an eerie silence, it tries to bite her...

The skeleton's teeth come VERY close to taking a chunk out of Lyla's head, but she manages to duck in time!

The demonic beetle continues its assault against the skeleton, attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15 for Damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 however, the skeleton's armor is too effective for the beetle to find bone.
Karri struggles to keep herself focused as the fight rages on all sides. The Legion screeches and tears at her mind demanding things of her. It feels like an eternity, but is only a single heartbeat, but Karri reaches into herself and draws forth another of the Legion...

As Karri begins another incantation, the man-sized skeletons start attacking anew!
The skeleton still in the pit lashes out with claws, trying to finish off the beetle...

...and this time, does a more thorough job of tearing the beetle asunder. It then moves to engage Demitri with the other one.

The skeleton facing Demitri swings both of its claws...

Claw 2: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
...and both of them fail to connect in any way. The first claw misses so badly that the skeleton almost falls over.

The two skeletons facing Nalun claw at him in a desperate bid for blood!

But the bounty hunter's reflexes and armour guarantee that none of them get as lucky as before. One claw barely ruffles his hair, but that's as close as any of them get.

Lyla heeds Oritk's warning and ducks, rolling back to avoid the skeleton's sharp teeth. She takes a brief moment to study the battlefield and noticing the lesser skeletons grouped together, switches her focus to them. She prepares another bomb and aims for the skeleton in the center, calculating that the others should be caught by the explosion backlash. As she releases the bomb, she shouts a warning to Demitri. "Watch out, chief!"

Lyla's bomb sails through the air... over Demitri's shoulder... and straight into the skeleton's mouth. The undead thing jerks back as the bomb bounces around in its mouth and falls through its ribcage before it explodes!
Reflex Save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Despite the quick reflexes of the other skeleton, it's not enough to save it from being blasted apart along with its opposite number!

The large skeleton fixates on Ortik, having just been struck by him. It rears back on its hind legs and begins swiping like mad with its claws and beak!

Drawing out another of the Legion, Karri throws it into the fray. A demonic rat, largrr than it has any right to be, comes up behind the giant skeleton and attempts to bite it.

following the rat, Karri shouts an incantation and casts a blob of sizzling acidvtowards the giant skeleton.

The little rat attacks the large skeleton's ankles, but despite the fact that it's flanking the big thing, its fangs only gnaw at the thickest bones of its body without hurting it.
Karri's glob of acid flies past the skeleton, *sizzling* against a muddied skull in the east wall.
The remaining skeletons attack once more, swiping madly at Nalun!

"Oh-oh...", Lyla mutters, alarmed to see Ortik in such dire straits. She quickly mixes another explosive solution and throws it at the skeleton hoping to free the dwarf before he sustains further injuries.

Nalun's blow knocks the wounded skeleton apart while Lyla's bomb explodes in the beast's face, blowing off a chunk of its weathered skull. It's not down yet, but it's wobbling as if it's about to fall apart at any second!

Attacking the skeleton that's got me grabbed. I'm at -2, but his AC is -2 due to a reduced Dex, so it all washes.

Ortik swings wildly at the skeleton holding onto him, but his hammer keeps passing through the holes already made in the thing. He doesn't make any progress in freeing himself.
Not that it matters, because Demitri's blow has drawn the skeleton's ire. It releases Ortik and attacks the inquisitor in a frenzy!

Demitri's struggling to escape the skeleton's clutches is proving ineffective.
Karri's rat isn't doing a good job of gnawing at the thing, but her acid glob is. It melts away part of the beast's jaw, causing the smell of ancient bone marrow to fill the air.
The last man-sized skeleton, being a mindless creature, keeps attacking Nalun.
Claw 1: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Claw 2: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
