Cottonseed will be the 'hub' or 'lodge' if you will, for all PFS 2.0 activity :)

Well I got a Lvl one Rogue ready when a game opens.

I have been trying to find a PFS2 Guild Guide and/or Character Sheet downloads with no luck. Are they out there yet?

Here is the PFS Guide in HTML form. It's in need of some editing, but functional to get us started.

In addition, d20PFSRD has a preliminary SRD, which again needs some cleanup, but is a good reference.

Not sure about character sheets. I am working on modifying the spreadsheet I built for playtest to account for the changes and the additions for PFS. Once I'm satisfied it has what it needs and doesn't have any major mistakes, I can share it.

I forgot I had purchased the Character Sheet Pack.

Those should do until they show up, I guess.

Does Artic Survivor stack with other things? Ie. I'm an artic Elf, would I get both forums of cold resistance?
What is mental resistance? Like Will resistance

We don't know yet. The OP team is busy at GenCon. Give it time and those things will be fleshed out.

Resistance should only be the highest value applies.

As far as I can tell, you can *have* an unlimited number of boons. You can only *slot* a limited number (other than those specifically listed as slotless) each adventure.

I think Aerondor was asking if there was a PDF document (that could be downloaded locally to a phone or tablet). The answer, as far as I can tell, is "no", at least for now.

There is not for now. Likely Paizo will post something after Gencon. For now all we have is what Chris Marsh posted.

I worked on a character sheet. It's not very detailed and it does some calculations (it does not adjust for conditions).

HERE is Version 1 of my PFS(2) Online Profile Character Sheet.

Make a copy into your own GoogleDocs, rename it to your desired method of filing, edit in your character details, delete out my red ink instructions, then copy and paste it into your fresh PFS(2) character's profile!

Also, I just spent all weekend running PF2 demos at GenCon, and this system is a ton of fun to play! I can't wait to try it out in PbP.

If I may offer a suggestion. For characters who are likely to want to use an action to recall knowledge, prompt at the start for what types of things they would normally be after. Then you can roll the checks in advance for them if you want, and spoiler the appropriate knowledge behind a "if <character> wants to spend an action recalling knowledge they know...". Then they can spend an action if they want, and maybe spend another action telling other people what they know if they feel like doing that.

This won't always work, but generally blaster spellcasters want to know about elemental resistances, control types about spell resistance, fighters about vulnerablities etc.

The nice thing about doing it that way (if it is a bit of work up front) is that nobody knows how they rolled at all.

Of course, it may work out that in PBP folk don't end up worrying too much about misinformation. But at least while it is new, and we are all learning about how it works and what types of powers creatures have in the new system, I imagine there will be quite a bit of recall knowledge going on - and the misinformation may be a fun bit of that.

I corrected my embarrassing omission of HP in the main profile. I had it in the header line but not in the main text of the profile. I put it in Defenses.

It's a great template, I have already taken it to use and adjust for my characters. Thank you very much GM Blake.

I was just coming here to ask if anyone had started thinking through the changes that 2nd Ed would require for PbP, so thanks so much for this. I hope others will share issues and solutions as we start in earnest.

I'm sure there are many things we will work out over the next few months in terms of best practices to handle new rules in a PbP environment. As long as everyone is willing to work together and be patient with one another, I'm sure it will be a lot of fun.

I just finished making my first PFS2 character, a human wizard, on HeroLab online. I am not sure how accurate it came out.

I am seeking a little clarification if I may...

(1) I have 11 Gp left. Would it be ok to purchase a couple 1L scrolls before the first game session?

(2) I have the Scribe Scroll feat. Could I craft a couple 1L scrolls before the first game session or just after "between sessions". I understand I can only make 2 out of the possible 4 due to only having 2 slots a day, I am just trying to find out timing.

Not trying to be OP or anything, just looking for a Mage Armor scroll or two so I don't have to commit the slot(s).

Scribing scrolls takes downtime, so can't craft them yet. Scrolls with level 1 spells on them are level 1 items so are good to purchase.

Don't forget about your training benefit. At least 1 point in Spells gets you a free scroll every adventure and Mage Armor is on the list.

So the boons gained from the playtest are advanced boons? Cause it says example from a playtest when I go to boons section under players guide. It doesn't say from the Playtest version of the Pathfinder game or a playtest version of a scenario they want to test.
But it also says the playtest boons gives minor benefits in the organized play basics section. And it says advanced boons are typically more powerful.

Edit: see organized play basics and then see player basics section to understand what I mean.

Some Advanced boons may come from the playtest, but not all playtest boons are Advanced boons.

We don't really know what types of boons each of the playtest boons are until we can print them. Some of them are definitely slotless, but I would just be guessing with the rest.

I guess that makes sense, being a higher level would be advanced, cause if they were slotless it wouldn't make sense to be level 2 and 3 for a character starting and if they were slotless then in theory you could stack them. While being able to move at full speed over rough terrain would be slotless most likely.

Hello, Online Peoples!

You may have noticed that we have recently removed a number of tables from the PbP Gameday VIII spreadsheet listing. These were tables with only 1 or no players signed up. With Gameday just under two weeks away the decision was made to remove these low signup tables in order to better consolidate and fill out the tables that remain. All of the GMs for the affected tables have already been notified of this decision.

If you are a player please check the table listing to see if this change affects any of the games you have signed up for. But fear not! We still have a number of PFS (1st) Core and SFS tables with available seats as well as a few PFS (1st) and PFS (2nd) games with available seats - and we would love to see those seats filled. So if you have a character suddenly in need of a new home for Gameday, check out the list to see if anything strikes your fancy! :)

As of today (Tuesday, August 20th) we are no longer accepting table submissions for PbP Gameday VIII unless you have already mustered a legal table on your own. As long as you have a legal table you may still submit your game using the submission form under the Other Recruitment heading. You may also continue to recruit for a table that is not full even after submitting your table to the table listing (i.e. a GM finds 4 players & submits the game - you may still look for 2 more players to fill the table.)

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Familiars-Do I need to create an Alias for my Familiar or Do I just include it in my characters Stats?

Most just put it in their characters' stats (sometimes in a spoiler).

EDIT: Familiars tend to be spoilered, but I've seen a lot of animal companions go either way (since they're more active in combat).
