Male Orc Expert 5

Actually you have more divine than arcane. Ranger's get spells too. Plus the theurge. :)

Male Human Monk 1 (Wanderer)

No preference or opinion other than massive hate for Summoners. Party's reasonably solid. Play what you want to play, don't worry too much about balance.

Init: +11, Perception: +18, AC: 24, HP: 68/68, Saves: 9/13/6

Welcome Tark. I'm fine with you playing anything you desire!

An understandable hate I will admit. But I find the roleplaying opportunities way too good to resist.

Male Orc Expert 5

By the by how does the GM feel about tieflings?

M Human Ranger 4 (Urban)/ (Per: +8/10 Init:+5 HP 41/41 AC: 21/15/17 F: +5 R: +9 W: +2)

The ranger's one spell is gravity bow. The druid will level very slowly. We are indeed divine and healing challenged. But, as has been said, play what you will have the most fun with. Just do not expect healing from the current players.

So add one wand of cure light wounds to the list. Natch.

Male Orc Expert 5

Rollin HP

2d8 ⇒ (4, 5) = 9
1d6 ⇒ 2

I like tieflings, this is an all human campaign technically but I allow stat templates to be taken across. So you'd be a human with demon heritage (which is basically what tieflings are anyway) but you'd look much much more human than a tiefling does. From a mechanical perspective, tiefling is fine.

plus the thurge is built for a more wizard focus than druid, plus druids can't spontaniously heal.

M Human Ranger 4 (Urban)/ (Per: +8/10 Init:+5 HP 41/41 AC: 21/15/17 F: +5 R: +9 W: +2)

Exactly.

Init: +11, Perception: +18, AC: 24, HP: 68/68, Saves: 9/13/6

Heck we have a ton of damage. If we really need heals, I could reroll a healer type. I am up for anything. What do you guys think?

Male Human Monk 1 (Wanderer)

Seriously, relax about it IMO. We can build around people, its early days yet. I'm happier to have a ton of damage and a cure light wounds wand than a dedicated healer.

Male Orc Expert 5

Welp, let me put it to you this way.

I play a divine caster in four different campaigns. Namely, a paladin, a druid, an oracle, and a cleric. I also play an alchemist who is essentially a surgeon and a master summoner who is plannin on taking infernal healing purely because he cannot trust the groups current cleric. But that's an evil game wherein I'm a treacherous bastard from the start.

The only character I currently play that is not a divine caster or capable of healing is a cavalier.

So you can probably make one guess as to my desire to cast bless, divine favor, and maybe a summon or two once again.

This being said. I am making yet another character that can cast cure spells. Not many grant. Seila is also a melee character. Though nothing like the ninja or fighter. Rather she's the sort of character who reaches out with her hair and inflicts three or four status effects while laughing malevolently. So essentially once her favorite target is Entangled, Grappled, Blinded, Fatigued, and possibly prone and disarmed one of you with sharp bits can simply poke it to put it out of it's misery.

Love it!

Any progress on character making TarkXT?

Male Orc Expert 5

I'll try to be done by tonight. Sadly I'm trying to rebuild two characters whose sheets were eaten at the dark whims of the internet. Right now I'm just buying equipment and writing backhistory.

Female Human, Cleric 8 AC20, HP:55, F:9,R:7,W:13, Init: +7, Reach

Crunch is done just need to apply my ideas for the backhistory to paper and get the concept squared away. Otherwise she's ready for approval.

How do you plan on keeping your familiar alive?

Female Human, Cleric 8 AC20, HP:55, F:9,R:7,W:13, Init: +7, Reach

Jug of water.

Female Human, Cleric 8 AC20, HP:55, F:9,R:7,W:13, Init: +7, Reach

More specifically a jug of salt water strapped to the side of her haversack by heavy leather belts and held partially by her own hair.

He's not particularly vital for her to function but Mr. Pinchy would not dream of not coming along.

Ok I'll rule that it's a magically strengthened jar so we don't have to worry about working out it's hardness if you get struck in the back or if you fall on it. It's not unfeasible since you are a magic character and you would want to take extra precautions to protect Mr. Pinchy.

Going to properly go through your character soon.

You don't appear to have any feats or any of your magus/witches special abilities written down.

Female Human, Cleric 8 AC20, HP:55, F:9,R:7,W:13, Init: +7, Reach

Check the link it's the name in blue. It has the full sheet.

Gotcha. You have put skill points in fly, it's a pretty common mistake, you can't actually put skill points in it unless you have access to some means of flying regularly. You arn't able to fly untill next level at the earliest (if you level up hex crafter getting the hex's class ability at level 4 and then choosing flight).

Everything else checks out though.

Female Human, Cleric 8 AC20, HP:55, F:9,R:7,W:13, Init: +7, Reach

Was planning exactly that actually.

Female Human, Cleric 8 AC20, HP:55, F:9,R:7,W:13, Init: +7, Reach

Also since I noticed you're online I should have a backhistory up in about an hour or so. I have little to no idea about the setting so I'm taking some liberties here. Please let me know if certain details need changing.

All right, that's fine. I wanted to keep it vague so 1. People could have more freedom with their backstory's and 2. So you would discover more (eventually, when you guys get past the first lead by the nose mission)

Ahhh CN. Love that alignment. As many people say it's the perfect alignment to use if you want to get away with doing the odd evil act now and again.

Male Orc Expert 5

You can do that with any N alignment really. My LN characters tend to be way worse than my CN ones purely because their code or law or loyalties preclude any notion of friendship, honesty, or compassion.

Seila is the way she is partly because she grew up in what would figuratively be known as hell. Love was a tool, compassion was a weakness, men only existed for the fickle and mercurial pleasures of her mother to be used and tossed aside like toys. She's well aware of the cruelty and does not have quite the same tastes but this doesn't make her a good person.

In any case Seila's backstory is done. In all its creepy creepy implications.

I like the back story, Although I want to make it clear, the royal messenger was sent by Captain Raichus, not the king. As long as your character is ok with that then everything is fine.

This bit is addressed to everyone. At the moment this is a fairly linear campaign, but it is going to open up into a much more open world, more like king maker. The way to the objective might not always be clear, try things, talk to people, explore. Hell if you don't want to do what captain raichus says you can just tell him to piss off and pursue your own goals. So if (like now) you're not sure how to proceed, just think, what would sherlock do?

Male Orc Expert 5

That's perfectly okay with me.

Ahh Elementry my dear Watson. I'll get out my pipe, deerstalker and magnifying glass immediately. I best fit the part as I'm British afterall.

lol, but seriously, bil doesn't really have much to do or say. However I am already getting a brain storm as I say this.

Init: +11, Perception: +18, AC: 24, HP: 68/68, Saves: 9/13/6

Dotting

M Human Ranger 4 (Urban)/ (Per: +8/10 Init:+5 HP 41/41 AC: 21/15/17 F: +5 R: +9 W: +2)

redotting too.

Why redot? I noticed that I can't load up online campaigns and all my campaigns continue to display "new" messages, even though I was the one that messaged...weird new forum bug.

Yeah same here, I just came to check the gameplay board because it said there was 1 new post, but the new post was me...

Your Humble Narrator

See the Website Feedback forum. They are rolling out some changes and causing bugs in the process...

Init: +11, Perception: +18, AC: 24, HP: 68/68, Saves: 9/13/6

Awaiting the "go ahead" to head upstairs and progress the campaign.

Male Orc Expert 5

Proooooobably not the best choice of words. But I suppose that's better than saying we want to join the underground.

TarkXT wrote:

Bil isn't very charismatic. He's more interested in studying the world and gaining knowledge in life.

Male Orc Expert 5

Too creepy?

Init: +11, Perception: +18, AC: 24, HP: 68/68, Saves: 9/13/6

No...too awesome! I like it. Raising the RP bar!

lol, I agree with Nicolae.

Yeah the rp's nice, just hope that there won't be too much character clash between beohawk and you later on.

M Human Ranger 4 (Urban)/ (Per: +8/10 Init:+5 HP 41/41 AC: 21/15/17 F: +5 R: +9 W: +2)

Witches, who can trust um. :)

Working on a response. The real problem is that the newcomer seems to have no way to prove that she is at least a potential ally. Why should we trust her? Only because she seems to know about our mission? Am I missing something?

she has referenced that she was sent by the captain that you were if you read.

Male Orc Expert 5

Unfortunately there really is no real proof unless the group was given a document or some other physical proof of it which she would have been sure to keep.

nope, captain raichus has given you no documentation whatsoever. You are however their only way inside ;).

Male Human Monk 1 (Wanderer)

I have purposefully avoided using Golarion fluff as this is not set in Golarion; thus i'm very confused when people keep referencing it.
