So how have you been, how is everyone. Is Vai back? how about Ginni?

"Alright. I will ask Him after dinner." he goes back to eating, the matter being solved for now. "How was the matter with Chara's sister solved? Is she ok?"

"She was safely recovered. She's back at the school now, in the infirmary. Fi took Ignace and Chara to go and see her. James was there when they found her, so Fieri was able to keep us all well informed. It was their grandparents apparently. They were trying to do some kind of magical ritual on Raelle. The kind that would give permanent mind control most likely. You can imagine how well that thought is going over with her parents. That's...even for demons, that's serious evil. I'm sure there's already a special place in Hell reserved for people who would not just do that, but even to their own grandchild."

Ace's grin upon seeing his girlfriend up and about is about a bright as the noonday sun. He takes a moment to check out her new features "Wow Ginni, you look amazing. And awesome. And rather badass" He says, still smiling at her being OK.

"Yea Tami, that would be great. I also got you a plate, just in case"

Ginni blushed and looked away. She was still feeling rather self-conscious about her new demonic appearance, and didn't quite know how to deal with compliments.

Tami put a hand around her waist and helped her totter along the hall towards the lounge when suddenly Ginni stopped mid-step.

"Melody!" she exclaimed. "Melody's back! From...wherever she was. It was really, really far though," she said, twisting around, trying to see if she could see Melody from here. She could tell that she was close.

Phaedra leaned over and whispered to Cindra, "Arthur got in trouble! And he couldn't talk his way out of it. I didn't know that could happen!" She bit her lip, appearing to consider things for a moment. "Maybe Mama was wrong. People like that do make better allies than enemies. Do you think it would be alright for me to disobey Mama and talk to the non-firebirds here?" she asked anxiously.

Tamrin was finally making his way to the Infirmary (to relieve the staff of the 'burden' of dealing with his ever-active wife) when he was brought to a halt by something that commands his full attention.

He stood there for a few long seconds, then strode forward with a purpose and locked himself in the first empty room he could find. From somewhere on his person he produced a large book with well-traveled yet still sturdy bindings, a worn metal seal with two crossed Casters centered on the front cover. Placing it on a table, he quietly spoke a word and then opened the tome.

The pages in front of Tamrin showed columns of names, written in different colors of ink. Most were a dark brown, the ink somewhat faded with time. As he turned the pages, the names took on more of a russet hue, slightly brighter than their predecessors. When he came to the last page, there were only a few names on it, but the last two stood out from all the others. They were written in a brilliant scarlet ink - so fresh that it still looked wet on the page in the room's light.

He stared down at the names, leaning forward to place both hands on the table. His normally easy-going features were now a mixture of shock and despair...and then quickly devolved into rage as he yelled out and threw the table over. The book, surprisingly undamaged in the violent outburst, landed softly on the floor with its pages still facing up.

After staring at the pages for several minutes, Tamrin finally leaned over and snatched the tome back from the floor, slammed it shut and stowed it before leaving the room.

Ardiente sort of stares blankly at Alev for several long moments "Their. Own. Granddaughter! How...how could they?!" Is all he's able to say. Clearly the young monk is full of a mix of emotions, as he clenches his fists several times, and tears begin to slowly trickle down his face. To be instantly evaporated by his internal fire which is still rather hot due to his level of rage and anger.

"They did it to their son. Obviously a less permanent version back then. They were still working their way up to the real deal. Why would they feel differently about their granddaughter? They think that any members of their house or those pledged to serve their house are essentially objects. They think it's their right to do what they like with them. That's why they didn't see anything wrong with the mind control stuff. Or with sending you and your family to die. We told you that was why we ran, and that was part of it, but not all of it. They took Elektra's dad. Well, you saw that. He's not really there anymore. I don't know if it can be fixed. And we were supposed to be next. We had a summons for later in the day. So we took the chance to run when Sorchan came looking for students. We probably should have told you sooner, but...well, it was complicated. We weren't sure what was right, and they had our families, so we stayed quiet about it. I didn't think they would try to use it on Raelle though. I mean, yeah, it's obvious in retrospect, but I just wasn't thinking evil enough apparently," Alev said quietly.

Taking several deep, centering breaths, Aridente settles himself down. "Do not blame yourself. As you said, there is no way to have truly known just how evil the elder del Sols were going to be. Raelle is safe, they are captured and that is all that matters. Now, we should look into whether or not its possible to free Elektra's dad from the mind control. And find out if there are any other guardsmen, or just other firebirds in general, who have been subjected to that awful ritual." He pauses, thinking "What are the chances any of the other families were also engaged in mind controlling their guards?"

"House Helios didn't, much to everyone's surprise. Their guards all scattered after Fuego's death. Apolla was left totally on her own. House Surya wouldn't because they're too busy fighting each other. I don't think House Svarog would either. There's too many of them. There's no way they could keep it a secret. House Phoebus probably not. Their guards get leave pretty regularly and I get the impression that they're strict, but on the up and up. I could be wrong, but that's my guess. House Soleil would do it in a heartbeat. Just not sure they have the magical mojo to pull it off. Well, maybe they do now. I heard they took Apolla in. She could do it. And House Niyambi is so secretive that I just don't know about them. Maybe yes, maybe no."

Jacob barrels into the infirmary, eyes wide and panting. He recovers, and turns to the nearest medical staff that isn't otherwise engaged. "IneedtospeaktoMissusFieriSunwakeit'samatterofgreaturgency!"

Male Elf Slayer 16

Djalos stumbles into the cafeteria, looking pale and sickly. Lurching over to the line, he heaps a downright ludicrous amount of food and drink onto his tray, especially for an elf, before stumbling over to the nearest table and plowing through it with an alarming speed.

The reception nurse sighed. "I believe that she is with her sister at the moment. No, you may not go back there," she added sternly. "I will page her and you will wait right here for her. Unless your matter is going to blow up the school right this second, or honestly within the next sixty seconds, it's not actually that urgent," she added testily.

Male Aasimar (Muse-Touched)

Jacob takes another breath and blinks. "I will wait. It will blow up a large portion of the school in about a week, so... I suppose it's not that urgent." He straightens and resets his clothes. "Fraid so, honey," the nurse said with a little more compassion now that he was calmer. "I will let Mrs. Sunwake know, but just so you know, one of her sisters had a bit of an ordeal tonight. Again. Those girls are magnets for trouble, I swear," she said shaking her head. "So if it isn't an immediate problem it might take her a while to get to you. I'd recommend going and getting some dinner while you wait, if you haven't already."
