This is a high level rules light game set in a school for magical kids, kinda a mash-up of Soul Eater, Harry Potter, and X-Men. :)

That seemed to soften her demeanor a little bit. Her eyes were nearly overflowing with unshed tears. "You idiot! Of course I'm not breaking up with you! I love you! But I am furious with you! Life is risk, Michael. You can't try to protect me from everything and still expect this relationship to work. You have to trust that I can take care of myself. Even if there are times when I can't. Just like I have to do all the time with you."

"Chopsticks. For eating."

He puts his own pair of them in his paw and clicks them.

"You know how to use them?"

He demonstrates by lifting a sushi roll and setting it back down, not planning on eating until both of them could.

"You put one in your hand like a pencil and the other under your thumb."

If Pyry doesn't seem to get it at first as many didn't, he reaches over and sets them in his hand the right way.

I use these so much just naturally that I actually had to get my pair to be able to describe how to hold them.

Ace sends his thoughts to Phaez. While he doesn't have telepathy normally, he knows the reformed demon is one of the more powerful psions at the school. So he takes the gamble that his thoughts will be picked up, if directed at the telepath ::"Phaez, I'm outside Ginni's room, but I don't think I can get in. "Michael," she began, reaching out and taking his hand. "What that killer did....What Repp did to me," she corrected herself, still struggling with her sense of betrayal. "That wasn't your fault. It wasn't anyone's fault except Repp's. If you try to protect me all the time from everything out of some misplaced sense of guilt, then you don't leave me the freedom I need to be myself. The other pillars that he has seen here are all solid, as if they were made of stone. But when he looks behind himself to see what was there, the pillar behind him looks like it was woven together from many knotted strands. Almost like a spiderweb. It looked delicate compared to the others, but might actually be more difficult to cut.

Before Ginni can respond to any of his encouragement, another demon version of herself has coalesced outside of the wall. Time for round two. "Thank you," Ginni said to Phaezeriel before walking out to meet her evil half again.

The demon-Ginni smirked at her as she approached. "Oh, here she is, little miss pure and innocent," she taunted. "Except you're not really, are you? Blame it on the virus all you want, but I'm you. I know the truth. You enjoyed kissing all those boys and sucking the souls right out of them."
Ginni sighed. She'd been expecting this one. Apparently the warm-ups were over. "Okay, no, I did not enjoy sucking out their souls, nor did I enjoy being made to vomit them back up, and that vampire virus seriously sucked. Pun intended. But, yes, I enjoyed kissing all those people. Quite certain not all of them were boys. You're a succubus, don't be so narrow-minded. I liked the attention. I'd certainly had little enough of it up to that point. But the thing is none of those kisses actually meant anything. And I've discovered since then how much nicer kisses that mean something can be."
"Oh, is that what you're telling yourself? That it's better because you care? I think you just found someone who knew what they were doing and got carried away. And you tell yourself this story about love to make yourself feel better, to convince yourself you're still a good girl."
"Oh, for crying out...seriously? I am not this stupid. If you're going to talk like a moron, don't use my face to do it. I have feelings. Like a normal person. Some of those feelings include lust. Again, like a normal person. That doesn't make the other feelings invalid. I can have more than one emotion. At the same time even. I am an incredibly complex person. That doesn't make me bad."
This was apparently the right thing to say, since the demon-Ginni vanished into silver smoke. But the real Ginni was looking pretty uncomfortable now.

Sorchan examines the spot where the bag was found and walks around the whole site again. "There had to have been more than one of them. The angles of these breaks don't make any sense otherwise. She must have fought like hell. But there's no trail out of here at all. Not even in the upper branches. They didn't fly out of here. They definitely teleported. Meanwhile, back at the school....

Pyra flew outside, quickly scanning the grounds for Ryleh. Once she spotted her, sitting at the small table drinking tea with Ephebe, she swooped in for a landing.
"Ryleh, it's an emergency. Raelle...she's missing. They found some of her things outside the wards. Please, I need your help."

"Okay, so that's...different. Umm....has anyone taken a look at your err aura, I guess would be the best word to describe it. You know, since whatever happened? Cause there's more than one way for influence to cling to someone. You might just need some purification type magic. Which we can totally do later. Not trying to put a damper on the evening. Just offering options," she said, leading the way out of the SIM room. She unconsciously positioned herself to the outside, letting Tryko'Sam walk closer to the wall, acting as a barrier between him and any of the annoying kids who were laughing at him earlier.

"Well, you'd likely know more about this realm of things -- or magic, than I would. If it's not something scientifically ... resolvable, or not within Maya's wheel house of imagination, then perhaps she may have missed it. She's always been a bit proud and headstrong-- maybe protective. I dunno. Just can't remember and she's busy after patching me up this time. Who do you recommend? Purge me with some kind of holy fire or something? You mean priest stuff? Never been into religion, guessing your sharing earlier puts you off the list?"

As they walk along, it's apparent that the threesome behind them, skulking as they were, are getting up the gusto to actually act-- so Andromeda's planning isn't exactly going without merit.

The Three Bullies:

"So, freak," speaks the one fellow who pops up suddenly ahead of Andromeda and Tryko'Sam, "got any fabulous tweaking face motions or fetal positions to show us? I think I'm falling in love with seeing you squirm!"

Immediately at the mention of the word 'love' Tryko'Sam does in fact, tense up and start having some facial twitches as his mind or something else, twists within and unseen.

From behind, as if coordinated, another speaks up, "Yeah, I mean, after all those girls you keep getting attention from -- I'm sure they wanna see what kind of stud you are, kneeling on the ground and puking your guts out, just because you can't stand hearing about 'building' or 'repairing' something. In fact-- I just fixed up a broken wrench, made it as good as 'new'.

The third person seems to hang back, mostly, seeming to furrow their brow and stare in Tryko'Sam's direction intently. He clearly isn't doing a verbal assault, but he might be doing some sort of emotional 'attack'.

Provided Andromeda isn't capable of seeing 'magic' or 'psionic' abilities without a buff, innately-- she wouldn't notice the third's attack. Since it doesn't have any verbal or physical components in manifesting the power, there's no 'Spellcraft' roll to determine such, so up to your interpretation, Lynora. Mental powers in use, for anyone savvy of such.

Tryko'Sam does in fact, as planned by these bullies, double over, and fall to one knee-- his right hand going to stomach, while the left 'grips' into the hallway floor with tense fingers that seem to be eager to tear into the very ground, he's fighting something beyond just their assault. He's clearly not injured by this, or the Wards might whisk him away, so, this is a different thing going on and the threesome are likely unaware of the deeper problem of their actions. In a gritted, gnashing teeth voice, raw with an emotion that is anything but 'pain', he utters a few words, "...no, no. I won... n't. St..." He's clearly fighting something, but, losing some of his ability to formulate coherent words.

Andromeda's welcome to make two Sense Motive rolls here: One for the 'bullies', DC15, and one for Tryko'Sam, DC25 to really get what they are feeling beyond the mere appearances.

DC15 Bullies: They are jealous of his 'charm' and just want to embarrass him in front of Andromeda. There's a pride/fear thing going with regards to her, if she makes her roll higher (perhaps some 'crush' in play with the lead bully).

Less than DC25 for Tryko'Sam: He's sick, and resisting that by falling into this incapacitated state. DC25 and greater: He's resisting reacting to them, but not clear how, likely very violently.

And next time you want to get a girl's attention, jerk face, try talking to her. Nicely. You'd be amazed how much better that works."

Pyra paced back and forth as Ryleh worked, not understanding the array of crystals, mirrors, and bowls of water spread out on her work table. Although she couldn't help but notice its striking similarity to Aananda's security displays. Like mother, like daughter apparently.

::Fieri,:: she sent out, realizing that there was one member of the family who hadn't been contacted yet. ::There's an emergency. Raelle is missing. Some of her things were found outside the wards. Ryleh is trying to locate her now. Ephebe went to tell Ignace and Chara. Can you go and stay with the girls? This has to be frightening for them?::

::Yeah, I'll be right there,:: Fieri responded after a short pause. Well, it was a lot to dump on someone. Pyra was still fighting the sensation that this was all just some horrible nightmare and she was going to wake up any moment.

"Chara, dear, your teacher is asking for you. You need to run along now. Right away, dear," she said in the extra kindly voice that grown-ups use when they think they're being reassuring, but really you know that they're totally lying.

Ephebe was waiting for Chara at the door that led from the infirmary to the elementary school. "I -- wha." Attention is removed Tryko'Sam while the other boy laughs, their loyalty goes only so far, clearly.

The third kid, however, might not be able to focus beyond what he's focused on, though his eyes are open and wide, they aren't exactly on Tryko'Sam-- Andromeda can guess, Tryko'Sam is his focus, none the less.

"Altoris, you twerp-- she totally got you there." He laughs without much fear or worry, not too into the situation.

Altoris, meanwhile, looks back at Tryko'Sam, then to Altoris and Andromeda, yells once and then promptly disappears abandoning his two fellow bullies.

Altoris laughs a few more times, still lacking fear. His third friend keeps staring.

Tryko'Sam has gone silent, though, likely due to the lack of others talking at this point with key words.

"... Not usually. You seem to be something unusual indeed."

vis's gaze gets a little stern, at this.
"What are you?"
"uh oh nothing I mean Hyou-men, yes! Hyoumen"

"Really? Then you wouldn't mind me getting my infernal-detecting scroll out, then?"

vis's hand slowly reaches for his bag of stuff.

Sorchan stopped as if he were listening to something and then turned to Lucas.

"The things that you found of Raelle's, please hand them to me. I need to get them to Ryleh so she can find where they've taken my daughter," he said, jaw clenched as he tried to keep his emotions under control. "Thank you for your help," he added, realizing that he hadn't yet acknowledged that. "All of you."

Cindra bows a little to Sorchan.

Grim unconsciously takes a half step back "no reason to use something like that, I mean, would the principal enroll demons here. He he he..." Grim's smile contains entirely too many teeth to be genuine.

Andromeda positions herself between Tryko'Sam and the bullies, drawing her pistols. "That's enough, guys. Back off. Now. I really, really hate bullies, and you're not the only ones who understand the loopholes in the wards. So unless you want to be having a really bad time, just leave. And next time you want to get a girl's attention, jerk face, try talking to her. Nicely. You'd be amazed how much better that works."

Andromeda holsters her pistols. "Alright, guys, joke's over. Move along," she said, lightly shaking the shoulder of the staring kid. She's worried that he hasn't snapped out of it already, but she stays upwardly calm. No need to escalate the situation.

Morrivan looked a little lost as Sorchan flew away back to the school. "Well, I guess that's it. Now for the hard part. The waiting. Thanks for your help, guys. I owe you. But we should probably head back. You two need to get inside. It's starting to get dark and it can get pretty chilly at night. Not so good for firebirds."

Jeran had run the new recruits through the communication protocols, both amongst themselves and withTacNet. The drills were designed to get most of the ribbing about their new call signs out of the way at the beginning, but somehow he doubted that would work with this group. The sarcasm was strong with these guys. He had just had everyone pull out their training schedules from their folders, going over who was scheduled to use what simulator when.

At this point Jiminy walked in, looking extremely agitated. "I apologize for interrupting the training," he said, shortly. "Mithros, I need you to suit up and get in the air right now. You're the only one who currently has a working mech. Raelle del Sol has been kidnapped. Whoever took her is using powerful magic to conceal their location. All Grandma has been able to get so far is that she's being held in a wood building, large, some kind of barn or warehouse. She's tied up and still wearing her psionic inhibitor, so totally helpless. The location could be anywhere within a radius of 2000 miles of Avalon. It could take hours to get more information that that, and Raelle might not have hours. Start in close and work your way out. Identify structures that could possibly be the one we're looking for and scan for heat signatures. The rest of us will separate into search teams to check out the possibles so we can reach as many locations as we can as quickly as possible."

"Oh man, Raelle? Yessir!" he hops up and flys out of the room, racing to get his suit on. He calls over the radio to get Sunbird 1 prepped ASAP, while he suits up. He then boards and takes off as instructed.
He flys high enough to not alert anyone on the ground of his presence from noise, and does a round about circuit out from Avalon as instructed, comparing sensor images and structures to what he was told...

"HQ, this is Sunbird, beginning reconnoiter at area Avalon, over."
