Tybalt goes into the school and tries to find Melody's room with the arrows.
When this fails, he sighs and pauses for a moment.
He removes his crook from his pocket and holds it in both paws.
It felt different.... a powerful electric feel and it felt good to hold. He was considering it for a quick moment when it snaps down and shrinks to the size of a broken bubble wand.
Weird... that's one if the new things... well let's try it then...
Tybalt closes his eyes and wills himself outside Mel's door.
He appears there and a small flurry of bubbles surrounds him on either side.
heh. Bubbles. Neat.
He pops one with a claw and knocks on Mel's door.
"Mel, are you here? It's Tybalt. Can I come in?"

"What."
tural looks on, dumbfounded for a moment, before walking over and touching him, with white glowing hands.

"Poison Ivy doesn't bother for the same reason fleas leave me alone. It helps being able to talk to plants." He says, still chuckling.

As Jai scratches him, she feels something moving under her brother's skin. Little lumps and bumps appear, then suddenly fade. Suddenly, something bursts through Sil's flesh near each shoulder blade, causing him to cry out. They resolve themselves into a pair of insectile wing, covered in blood. Silinrul is in massive agony, doubled over, unable to form words, just screaming in pain.

Jai shrieks a little when the wings erupt from Sil's back.

"Oh gods! Sil! We need to get him to the infirmary now!"

As she turned to ask for help, Tural walked over and healed Sil.

"Sil? Are you okay? Do you think you can make it to the infirmary now?" she asked, worried.

Asha turned around and realizes she recognizes the screaming guy. He'd been kinda mean to her at first, but then he'd at least tried to also be kind. He was confusing.

"I don't remember his name, but I've met that guy before... be right back," she said, abandoning her snack to follow Tural over to the table where Sil was sitting.

"Umm....is there anything I can do to help?" she asked uncertainly.

Male Elf Bard 14/Sorcerer (Maestro) 14

Ehos had recoiled slightly when the inscetile wings had burst forth. He had seen some gross things - especially at Avalon - but that definitely topped it off. Still, he liked Sil... mostly.

Ehos smiles to the cute blonde who walks up, but then notices the table she came from had charcoal on it. Ug, firebirds. Probably trying to appear gracious to up her social standing or something. He tries to ignore her, simply going over to Sil and kneeling next to him, offering a shoulder to steady himself on.

Vai smiles as she once again feels the sun's rays on her face. She gives thanks to Lathander and takes just a moment to bask in the rays, before opening them. There were still things to do...

"Thanks Tryko'Sam. We were worried that more of those things might come back." Vai says graciously, with (platonic) smile for the ruggedly handsome young man. There's a momentary glance at the jumble of people now near the riverside. "We should try and get some of this water. I'm guessing they weren't well-treated, and most of them are probably dehydrated."

Through the collective, Vai speaks directly and only to Sadie, Phaezeriel and Anahita. ::I don't think we should leave my parents. The other me still might try to get to them. Avalon is at least a /little/ safer. As much as I... do not forgive them for what they did to me, I can't just leave them to be killed. And... we need to decide what to do with these strangers. Vickory could probably fit in at Avalon, but I dunno about the other guy.::

Vai shook her head at that. She was definitely starting to feel a bit stressed, with all these people relying on her to tell them what to do. She was sure she wasn't cut out for leading people. But she had asked them to come and help her, to put themselves at risk, so she would manage, somehow. "No, we're out of there already. No need to go hunting those things. Let's focus on getting people tended to." Not for the first time today, Vai wishes she'd asked for Fei to come and help as well... but she knew that she couldn't always rely on his help. She had to be able to help herself.

Looking around, she decides to take the initiative and moves over to the tangle of people, gently separating them and checking their injuries before actually moving them, sliding them slightly so that they weren't all piled together. Vai intentionally stays as far away from the figures of her parents as possible.

While working, she says directly to Anahita, through the Collective. ::Sadie is right that we should travel in teams. You and I can easily go to the village to search for a map or something similar. Once these people are in a better state, we'll go, alright?::

Once he finished moving everyone quietly to the area near the river, Tryko'Sam walked around to find a nice spot to sit, and got comfortable. He clearly didn't have any intention or skill at medical sort of tasks.

He seemed to be looking off mostly, as if scanning the horizon for change in weather or the like, looking quietly as he does.

Anahita had initially, before the transport by Tryko'Sam been examining the villagers for the extent of their injuries and the like, though, she didn't immediately cast any spells or such to resolve their plight yet.

Once they did move, though, she'd explored the area a touch, ensuring their surroundings wasn't a killing spot for local wild life.

At the communication by Vai, however, she replied directly, ::I do not believe we, as the only two capable of instant travel, and thus the best connection back to Avalon, ought to leave these people, or our fellow students. More importantly, your village appears to have a history of abuse by beings of greater power. Do you intend to stay here and become their Guardian? We must either empower them through what the world has to offer, train them, or leave them to nature's whim. Or give up our place as students of Avalon potentially, which I doubt others would do so quickly for strangers, though I happily would be proven wrong.nDid you see any evidence of your dark counter parts involvement here? It is unlikely that she had a hand in this, do you agree? Our goal was to ensure your parents survival, we have come upon something far deeper and complex. Worse yet, I know nothing of the passing for normal in this world. Those things are common, or no? Going with yourself, back to the village does not feel wise on quick thought. Perhaps the best thing to do is ensure they are safe, seek out a larger city with resources to aid them, and be on our way. Unless the villagers are tagged or marked, it is likely they will never need to return to their village unless necessary-- thus avoiding any potential revisits by those creatures. I do not feel it would be wise to separate from the others, ultimately, plus they came here to aid you with your parents. I'm uncertain they expected the rescue of a whole village of people on another planet. I have many thoughts on this-- more than I have or would normally ever have.::

She sounded more thoughtful in her mental speech to Vai, as if to convey here thoughts, a hint of curiosity to the words.

Mel lets Tybs in and quickly checks the hallway then shuts the door.

Her half of the room is a mess. the first thing he notices is the dress she was wearing in balled up in the waste basket. Also there is a half full duffel sitting by the closet door.

Mel is in the most conservative bathrobe she could find covering herself up as much as possible.

she pushes a bunch of junk off a chair for him to sit. and she sits on the bed. I'm sorry about that, I just didn't want him to see me like that, I don't know if he already saw more than I would have liked.

Tybalt slips into the door in a fluid, catlike motion, as expected of... a cat person...
"It's OK. Just me. He wanted to talk to you, but I didn't think that would be the best idea."
He scans around the room and takes the dress out of the bin.
"You know, I can fix this if-"
He stops talking as he looks through a hole in the dress and his eyes fall on the half packed bag.
"You aren't..... leaving are you? Mel you can't leave!"
He may or may not have teleported, but in the blink of an eye, Melody is being hugged by a snowdrift, her plushy robe and his fur pausing the cold from coming through right at the moment.
"Please don't leave, I can't lose all these people at once! I already lost Johnny and now Dave hates me too, I don't want you to le-he-heave!..."

Silinrul struggles weakly to his feet, leaning on Ehos for support. It takes him some time, but finally he stands. "Wha.. Ugh. Mel starts to laugh. No, I'm not leaving, I am re-organizing. I have too much stuff, and need to get organized. She stutters a bit like she is trying to hide the fact that she thought about leaving several times in the past, but changed her mind. But this time she is sincere about just re-organizing.

She snickers again. yeah me, organized, that will be like when hell freezes....oh yeah, you probably would like that

She enjoys the compassion and concern.

After his fears are eased So I guess you really want to know what that was all about, don't you.

tural sighs.
"I'll get him. I can take him to the infermary."

"Unless, any of you have a faster idea?"

You know it was just a saying...ahhh, nevermind about that.

Mel goes and starts to help reorganize

I like a little of both color and style, maybe we can come up with something like stage, and not stage. As she helps going through her wardrobe. Tybs can sort of tell she is avoiding the subject somewhat.

but she eventually opens up some, So ahh, what do you think of Arthur? she ask Tybs a bit coy like.

but before he can answer, And what do think of Kai Mel seems a bit agitated at the mention of kai's name even though she did say it.

Male Icy Catfolk Image Warlock/Rogue 16

"So stage, not stage, then by color with style order in each color block. Just promise to quite ripping all the dresses I make you after this." He pokes a little fun.
"Well, he seems to care about you, he wanted to talk to you right now, but I convinced him that that probably wouldn't be what you wanted right now. He's hot. Like, literally hot. It hurt to be next to him a little. I've only met him the once, but he seems very... confident."
He pauses to look at one of Mel's old outfits from the water tribe.
"As far as Renkai goes, he was always nice when I was near him. He seems like a great guy, he has a six legged ancest-er a cat to you. There's a little something different hidden down inside. Like when he's looking all tough on the outside, it might not be just outside, but there's also a nice guy somewhere in there. A little uncomfortably good with varied weaponry. He seemed like a great guy, but not so much from what I heard recently... what do you think about them?"

Female [Classified] Bard 16 / [classified] 16

Gee thanks, you are so helpful. Arthur was my co-pilot on the shuttle, he helped save me when the accident occurred. You see, I like them both. I just don't know what to do.

looking at the older "water Tribe" outfits, Just put those way in the back. I don't even think I ever belonged there. Anyway I am worried that if I have any liking toward Arthur I don't know what Kai would do. I am afraid to even break up with him.

Mel's thoughts are all over the place. she seems totally lost and chaotic in her conversation, like she never had much practice "having friends" before. or maybe it just that she wants to share so much she doesn't even know where to begin.

Look, lets just cut to the chase here. I love Kai, but I am having trouble feeling if he really cares about me, on the other hand I am starting to like Arthur, He is everything I want in Kai.

Mel stops working on her closet and takes seat on the bed.

I really don't know what to do. and to be honest, I, I, I think I'm jealous of Dom and Tam, I see the way he looks at her, the way he cares about her. Mel looks away, I guess I want to have someone love me like that also, and I don't get that from Kai. Mel is trying to hide her face from Tybs, trying not to cry.

If she's in a position to notice, he sounds a little sad when he says the last bit about the catfolk belief.

After a few moments of re-examining the villagers, Anahita stands up and says clearly to the villagers, "Villagers-- please pay heed. Turn your attention to me for a minute or two of your time. I shall aid you and attempt to remove your injuries. Please try not to exert yourselves until the effort flows through you and heal. That said, Anahita seems to count, or consider everyone of the villagers in sight, that look her way, or not, and ... Focuses. Every person paying attention to her, within her sight, suddenly seems to be filled with the energies of Life. The sense of existing, feeling their hearts beating, breath being drawn, blood flowing with vigor. Their minor scrapes and the like fading quickly, bones knitting back, recent injuries fading.

It is roughly a minute later, after her healing of the villagers, and anyone else still visibly wounded, that Anahita walks back to near Vai and thinks directly to her in response, ::I do not believe a deity of my people, whom it have had little interaction with, save for her being aligned with Fire, which I revere, is interested or responsible for my current state of wild thinking. Perhaps the Burning Man's influence. I believe it is mostly the stress of being twice removed now, from places I am comfortable with. The threat of unknown beings capable of time travel and wholesale slaughter, your dark counter part, a Champion as well? I am also constantly hearing the sounds of Life, everywhere, in addition to ... An intensity of curiosity, and eagerness to explain everything, a wanting to know, which is the real issue. That is new. It has been this way, largely, when around people that show intelligence, and unique abilities. Similar to a librarian, as one might do? The categorizing, but with the eagerness to learn, or an intensity, that seems to be at the core of my being. It conflicts greatly with my intentional desires to not be involved in mundane matters. I may have to re-pledge myself to a new code of being, while not violating my way.::

Once again, perhaps over informing, but as she said, she's thinking a lot and is in a new location, and overwhelmed with mental stimuli.

after marcell finishes in the library, she decides to Look for the tansmautations teacher... Who doesn't seem to be available. Looking for the next best thing, she touches the walls, and heads off looking for the mathemagics teacher.

Professor Antergrenti De'Nown is sitting calmly in his quiet study at his dark wooden desk with a thin enamel cup of steaming dark liquid...

"Hello Miss, How may I assist you this evening?" he says calmly, looking away from a stack of papers that he had been grading, and stores the red tipped quill in a small pot of ink.

Male Sapphire Dragon

"Hello... Um... Alright, i came to ask, for a little help. What do you know about reincarnation? As in, the spell type thing. The transmutations teacher isn't here, and i suppose you know more about magical theory then the basic arcana teacher... I think..."

Male Wizard/Geometer, [Unknown]

"Well... That is an onerous question... Please take a seat, let me try to boil it down to a way you will be able to understand completely..."

The Professor sets a paper aside and takes a small sip of tea.

"Reincarnation is a Clerical or Druidic spell that removes the soul from the body of a living creature or possibly a recently deceased corpse and forces it into a new body with most of the memories of its previous life."

The teacher waits for a moment and then asks, "Is that what you wished to know?"

Male Sapphire Dragon

"Sorta... See, the past two nights, I've turned into something else every time i woke up. Yesterday i was a mermaid, today I'm this. Oddly, it feels totally normal, after only a both 30 minutes anyway, and there isn't any analyzable spell anyone could find. When i was looking through some books in the library, reincarnation seemed the most similar spell i saw."
marcell fidgets just a but as she talks, a little nervous.

The teacher looks at you oddly for a few minutes before responding...

"Perhaps a scrying spell with detect magics on you at the time of the transformation would give us a higher chance to understand the problem?"

Male Sapphire Dragon

"Maybe, that could help. I also had some runes appear on my back before it started happening. I already had those translated."

Male Wizard/Geometer, [Unknown]

"If I could receive a copy of the rune and the translation that would aid me in the endeavor of discovering the cause of your anomaly." Professor De'nown replies

Male Sapphire Dragon

"Well... Ok. It's translation is "Constant change, forever the same. Held within flesh, to be shed every day. bound to freedom, slave of change." And you'll have to take a picture of my back, because there is no way you can copy it by hand."

Male Wizard/Geometer, [Unknown]

The quill writes the words on a scrap piece of parchment as the professor looks at your back, taking in the symbol and its origins,

"Thank you Miss, I will be able to tell you of my discoveries tomorrow afternoon. You may go." he says, seemingly lost in thought
